Besides, the lady at the counter being about as rude as possible. The room was absolutely disgusting, Mold everywhere in the bathroom. This place is essentially a trap house. Drug deals being done room to room and parking lot, during daylight and at night I wouldn't even allow myself and my wife to stay there. We checked in and checked out within an hour.
Rooms: Mold and bed bugs 10 out 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND
Safety: Not safe

Very worn 1960s era hotel. Very old, but mostly functional faucets and shower. NO BEDBUGS. price makes this a good find. Its worth $50 or less a night to stay. Wifi not very fast. Hiwever- NICELY CLEAN, no smells, stains, or junk etc. i would stay again for under $50

Worst hotel experience ever. Dealing was going on, there were hooves and someone was always touching my car so that the alarm went off. Everything in the room was broken. The lamps, the chairs, the bed and there was a lot of mold and extremely noisy. The only good thing was the old brave lady who received me nicely and placed me close to the reception. Luckily I had to get up early and leave. Better demolish this hotel and build something new.

Got refused service for no reason I walked in and said I had a booking and was told it was canceled and she couldn't give me a reson to why now I have nowhere for the night

We reserved and paid for 1 room with 2 queen bed for 2 nights online. After a 5 hour drive, we get to the motel. The lady at the desk was incredibly rude. There was an issue on their system showing we paid for 1 queen bed. But our email confirmed showed 2. She refusing to honor our reservation. After some back and forth and some insults from her, she called her "supervisor" and agreed to honor what we paid for. The room is another disgusting issue. Pictures will be included if able to attach. The chairs looked like they carried their own diseases, cobwebs, extremely dusty, the walls and, head boards were disgusting.

Manager/owners kept shoving a piece of paper that said "NO PETS ALLOWED" By law medical service dogs are not pets. We had pre-paid reservation through BOOKING.COM.We were ESTATIC definitely a druggie motel people yelling out the window at no one, someone repeatedly opening n slamming a door, broken screens and windows, water in the pool was GREEN, trash strewn all over the parking lot and the cockroaches filled the office and the counter. Whomever wrote the review that mentions refurbished was obviously paid to write it the property hasn't seen a hose in a decade or a can of paint in 50 years.

Would give 0 stars.
Receptionist kept denying we had a booking although we saw it on the computer, she continued to then delete our booking right in front of us. We were very confused and thought she was joking at first, but then she went ahead and changed our one bed to a two bed since it was two women checking in. We found another, less homophobic hotel

The lady in the office is so rude we got to our reservation late and it does say open 24/7 but she literally had us sleep outside while we payed for our reservation and she didn’t open the office till 8 and she said we can have the room for 3hrs what a rip offf this place deserves 0 stars cause how rude the lady is

Don't book at this place. They are unprofessional and do not respect reservations. I made a reservation with my son on Wednesday and today, Saturday, at the end of my work, I arrive at the counter and they tell me that there are no rooms and that I should leave. What do I do now at 10 at night?

Management there is extremely rude. Maybe once out of 10 times management was tolerable. Rates are fairly good. Rooms are pretty clean but the rooms are thrashed like zero maintenance. Does swimming pool looks like a science project and has for a long time. Other than that the place is great lol.
Rooms: Fairly clean but thrashed. If you're not concerned about privacy you're in luck because the drapes don't do much.
Nearby activities: Really close to the beach Ventura Pier and surfers point.
Safety: You're fairly safe in the whole area. Just don't leave anything unattended.
Walkability: Lot of places that are accessible in walking distance. The beach restaurants, liquor stores, downtown main Street is in walking distance.
Food & drinks: Food and drinks are within a block.
Noteworthy details: If you don't expect much it'll be great. Most of the time parking really really sucks.

Zero stars. With the pictures you can see black mold everywhere in the room. Especially the bathroom. It is so bad little plants are growing out of the holes in the ceiling. Also if you can tell the ceiling is falling and around the center light it's full of mold.
All around the window and drapes above the air conditioning. And all along behind the bed.
Sheets stained. We didn't even get into the beds. We paid for two nights and checked out. I asked for a refund she said no. And she knew the condition of the room .
She doesn't care.
I will be calling the Health dept tomorrow morning.
Horrible place.
