I've always had a great experience at this salon. My hairstylist is wonderful. However, I wanted to write this review in regard to one of the owners of the salon, Heidi Nelson.
I have tinnitus in my ear and loud music sets it off. In the past, the staff (my hairstylist and front receptionist) have been wonderful in accommodating me in turning the music down whenever I'm there. They tried their best to do that today as well (kudos to them!), but their speaker system was a bit off today, which I totally understand. However, in the hopes of not setting my ear off, I spoke with the owner Heidi, explaining my situation, and I asked if she didn't mind turning the music off for the remainder of the appointment since I was at the tail end of my appointment.
Heidi explained that "that's just the speaker system...that's how it works." She then told me "Yes, I do mind your request...I really do mind it." It was not only what she said, it was also the way she said it...it was rude and condescending.
Again, this complaint is only about one of the owners of the salon. The staff that I have encountered, along with my stylist, have been amazing and accommodating, but I write this in the hopes that no one ever experience what I experienced with Heidi. No customer deserves that.
I hope that in moving forward, as an owner and manager of your business, that there will be room for compassion and understanding for anyone who enters your salon with any physical or medical ailment, whether it be visible to the naked eye or not. A request is always made for a reason.

Desirae is a truly amazing and talented hair stylist. I have been seeing her for years and I refuse to see anyone else. She has mastered her craft over the years and you will leave her chair feeling amazing and relaxed. Her balayage skills are beyond amazing and will always give you the results you are looking for. Desirae is super easy to talk to and always makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The salon Ten Dash One is a bright and fun salon and has a really welcoming and vibrate energy. You wont regret booking with Desirae!

Today was my first time at the salon. I made an appointment & arrived a few minutes early. I was greeted and checked in, offered a beverage while I waited. Then My hair stylist who was Chelsie came out and was just a burst of sunshine. I showed her pics of the hair style I was looking to achieve & we talked about what I wanted and what she could do for me etc. She gave me a lovely hair wash and scalp massage! Then snip & styled away. I walked out of there so satisfied!! She really gave me a beautiful full body hairstyle that I wanted and she did such a great job. I plan on definitely coming back for my touch up & yes, I highly recommend this salon. I was watching the ladies around me coloring and cutting hair, just checking out everyone, and all amazing jobs by some amazing hairstylist. & This salon has a very clean environment and good vibes. 10/10

I had a horrible experience with Ten Dash. The girls are nice & friendly but had a bad experience with them scheduling my appointment. I had set up an appointment with Kendell and the day of I called to confirm what time I needed to be there and the receptionist couldn't find me in the schedule. The receptionist tried talking to Kendell to see what was going on and unfortunately they weren't going to be able to do my hair. They had no explanation to what had happened and how come I wasn't on the schedule on the date me and Kendell had agreed on in person after my consultation. My wedding is coming up this weekend and I can't believe they made a mistake with the whole scheduling situation. They didn't even bother fixing the situation and didn't seem to care how important this was. I know mistakes happen but I'm just upset that I had to figure out my work schedule today and my kids schedule to make it work for Kendells schedule to not get nothing done.

Desirae is truly a hair magician! I have been going to her for blonde highlights and extensions for the past 9 years, and I am always blown away by the results. Not only is she incredibly skilled at creating the perfect shade of blonde that complements my skin tone, but her extension work is flawless.
Desirae's attention to detail and passion for her craft shine through in every appointment. She takes the time to listen to my preferences and always exceeds my expectations. I leave her chair feeling like a million bucks every single time.

I have been going to Emma Paulsen @ Ten Dash One for quite a few years now. She did the Kacey Welch extension on me and I loved them! They were easy to sleep in and looked so natural! I've changed my hair color a few times and every time I leave the salon I am more than thrilled with the results. She also did my hair for my wedding and it was all I could have dreamed of any more! She has a natural talent for hair and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist!

I highly recommend Desirae at Ten Dash One! I am so in love with my hair and have received endless compliments. Kendell did an amazing job with my curly hair, probably the best haircut i ever had. Very friendly and patient with me too cus i asked her to chop another inch off mid hair cut and i can imagine thats annoying. Anywho 10/10 would recommend. The salon is really nice too.

I had Darby as my hairdresser and I must say the whole experience was phenomenal from her customer service, to as soon as I enter the salon with a beverage. They really have a wonderful salon. I had blonde highlights done,with a small trim. Will definitely come back in the near future.

Long time client of Desirae's and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair! She's guided me through my blonde, brunette, and now red phases of hair and has executed each styling/color flawlessly! Desirae cuts my hair so it has texture and dimension while still maintaining the long length. Very easy to talk with and I fully trust her expertise in making my hair look it's absolute best and healthiest!
