Stone West offers an exquisite array of options! As an interior designer, I've selected tile for bathrooms and backsplashes, stone for fireplaces, countertops, and more over the years. My clients continue to be mesmerized by the beauty of their selections and thrilled with the quality.
I so enjoy working with Steven! He is highly knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating. He communicates wonderfully with the full project team (contractors, etc.) and is very reliable. Steven, there is nothing you can't do and you continue to impress me!
Thank you Stone West and Steven! You are both one of a kind, and I am truly grateful!

Never having had natural stone for our countertop, we knew absolutely nothing! The Stone West warehouse is incredible… Maybe even too many choices? Sophia stuck with us and guided us through the process, and was so patient with us, even as we changed our minds a couple of times. Thank you Sophia!! ❤️

Beautiful showroom with many options in tile and stone. They had everything I needed to complete my project. Steven put our design together quickly and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Steven really knows his stuff. He gave me so many great ideas and suggestions. My wife and I are so happy with how it came out. I will never go anywhere else!

As I continue with our kitchen remodel, I found that I needed a little more overhang on my peninsula, and heard of an innovative 5/8th inch aluminum sheeting that allows for a stronger counter base for up to 16 inches overhang. Since I really did not want to be crunched up at the bar/ countertop, every inch counts. I hope the quartz can hold up with this new product, which has been used extensively in the commercial sector...

Steven was fabulous to work with at Stone West! We were beginning a whole house remodel and I showed Steven a photo of a kitchen that inspired me. I also explained that we were taking down walls and I was on a tight budget but wanted natural stone countertops. Stephen took me to places that I had not considered with his tile and slab suggestions and I am so grateful! We bought 1 black leathered granite slab, 1 Sea Pearl Quartzite Slab, Lg Format Italian Porcelain Floor Tiles and gorgeous organic handcrafted subway tiles for the backsplash. Steven was a pleasure to work with and Stone West replaced one of the Slabs for us, demonstrating that they will go above and beyond for their customers. I sell Real Estate and I recommend Steven to all my clients and friends who are updating their homes. If you are looking for great design selection at a good value and the best customer service, go see Steven at Stone West!

Great place to choose your slab. They are really helpful with selection and know what stone will work best for your needs. They held my stone for more than a few months after purchase while we waited for our cabinets and other materials. We ended up with a really beautiful quartzite for our island and white Quartz for the surrounding cabinets. They even helped with troubleshooting since our installer seemed to do a terrible job sealing the quartzite. I called them and they recommended a sealant and I haven't had any complaints since. Also, they had free lattes. I will be back when we are ready to do our bathroom.

Steven Flores at StoneWest is friendly and helpful and offered expert advice in selecting handmade Moroccan tile for our bathroom project. The company has been around a long time, with a wide selection of tile, marble, and other building materials. Highly recommended.

If I had written this review shortly after purchasing a quartz slab (manufactured by them) from Stone West Inc in Ventura, it would have been a positive review, because we were happy with the appearance and "apparent" quality of the quartz. However, with the passage of time, a serious problem with the product has arisen, so this is now a negative review of Stone West's product, customer service, and warranty.Four years ago we purchased a slab of Stone West's proprietary Sunstone quartz. We used most of it for countertops of both bathroom vanities, and smaller pieces in the main shower (the top of a pony wall, the seat of a bench, and the top of the shower dam). Everything was fine for several years. But recently when I sat on the bench, I felt it move slightly, and I discovered that the quartz benchtop was no longer firmly attached to the substrate.I called the contractor who had done all the work on our bathroom remodel, and he came out to repair the bench. But upon removing the benchtop to prepare the substrate, he discovered that the quartz benchtop had warped/bowed upwards 1/4" at each end, and thus could not be properly reinstalled.Since Stone West says that their Sunstone quartz is warrantied for 10 years, I called them to see about getting a replacement piece. The woman who answered the phone said that the man I needed to speak with was busy and would call me back. After a day with no response, I tried emailing, and included photos showing where the bench had been installed and how much it had warped. I got a reply fairly soon.First, he said that they don't recommend using quartz in a shower. I said that was ridiculous, because every other quartz manufacturer says that quartz is the perfect material for showers, because it has no pores and can't absorb water. Next he asked for more photos and details of the methods used for installation. After I provided that, he said they would be contacting our contractor and his stone fabricator for more information, but they never did.Meanwhile, all this back & forth took almost a month, and we really wanted to have our shower working again. So we purchased another piece of a slab (this time marble) elsewhere, had it fabricated to duplicate the ruined benchtop, and reinstalled. After another two weeks with no response from Stone West, I contacted them again, and they said that they would not be honoring the warranty. In summary, the Sunstone quartz manufactured by Stone West is an inferior product, and their warranty is worthless.***Update - one day later***I have two comments regarding Stone West's response that the quartz wasn't installed correctly because "no waterproofing was evident ":1) What "evidence of waterproofing" would you expect to see in the photos that I sent you? The waterproofing was covered by the adhesive that the quartz had been attached with (until the quartz warped and pulled away from the adhesive).2) Even if there had been no waterproofing at all, so what? Are you saying that your quartz warps when exposed to water? That's some very unusual quartz!

If excellence is what you value in both quality of product and customer service, I encourage you to make a trip to STONE WEST. You'll be strolling through a huge collection of beautiful, one-of-a-kind, exotic stone slabs. NICK, the owner, along with his associates are all so down-to-earth and made me and my family feel welcomed and valued. I worked closely with CHAD, who was kind, personable, knowledgeable, and most admirably patient (thank you for gracefully dealing with my indecisiveness). He and Nick understood that I was on a budget; both strived to make sure I was happy and confident in my selection for my kitchen remodel.Shout out to VICTOR and the other stone handlers for gladly pulling out multiple heavy slabs with the forklift so that I could get a better view of the stones. And to CARRIE for answering all my daily phone calls and relaying my messages to Chad in a timely manner. Thanks to all at Stone West for making my experience a positive one!!!!Not to mention you can enjoy an espresso, latte, or tea at their chic bar in their exquisite showroom :)

Stone West is a pretty cool place to get stone or counter tops. They have a TON of different options. I worked with Boni and he was super helpful! I made a fire pit for the backyard.

My wife and I wanted to put travertine in our dining room and kitchen to tie in the rest of the house. I didn't put down the original.I went to the other big worthless stores, which will remain nameless and they either had no idea what they were talking about or making something up.So I went to the source, Stone West in Ventura. Now I have to warn you if you are like me and like to change things in your house. This is the place to be! All of the amazing stone work and different types of beautiful stone. I really liked it there. My contact is Steven, he is really good. I explained to him what I was doing and he helped me pick out the stone and picked a really pretty grout that makes the tile pop. Stone West has a group of well knowledge staff and great designers like Steven.Stone West has all the equipment and materials you will need. They also have installers if you so choose. If you are doing travertine 18"x18" tiles. I would hire someone, they are really heavy. But I did it with the help of Stone West. Why go anywhere else? You won't want to!

StoneWest is the best in customer service and product offerings. They have fast and friendly service in addition to superior products. You need to come see the showroom with plenty of selections to choose from before naming a decision elsewhere. Best in Ventura and Los Angeles.

I've been a couple of times to look at stone and tile. They have an incredible array of all kinds of stone for competitive prices. I also saw some types I've never seen--some more exotic pieces. The tile can be a bit pricey, but they have some beautiful stuff. I worked with Lance and he's amazing. He really listens to what you like and can afford and works with you from there. He explains the different options and pros and cons well, too. I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. Finally, the show room is nice and well set up.
