What a jewel and I just stumbled upon the shop. There are many wonderful items to take home for gifts that are better than most of the gift shops in the area. I especially like the locally made lotion, the ceramic crosses, the medals, the cards and so many other items that fit in my suitcase. I love the wind chimes but could not manage them. It’s nice to find a special place that supports the historical mission that is a treasure indeed. If you have time, walk the grounds, enjoy the museum, visit the sanctuary and leave a donation. You’ll want to, believe me!

Beautiful items in the store but need more rest room for customers

The hoop earrings I purchased were ruined by the woman that has a hard time listening to someone speak to her English. [Even in her reply she is confused. English is obviously not her first language. I had to repeat my questions to her several times.] Unbeknownst to me the hoops were shoved into a tiny ziplock back too small for the earrings. Didn't notice the hoops were permanently warped until I got home 90 miles away! What a disappointment and waste of money. This woman needs to be trained on how to handle delicate items.I agree with the other reviewers. The overall disrespect towards customers is evident. You're treated as if you are not welcomed in an establishment that should be more than welcoming. The tone at which you are spoken to is one of arrogance and annoyance. Someone needs to train the staff or hire friendlier people. Such a shame for the mission.Instead of staff playing the victim self reflection and accountability is desperately needed!

Blown away by the upkeep and care that is given to the mission and grounds. Beautiful garden and statues. The interior was gorgeous and holy! There is piped music of chanting monks, (?) ... it was beautiful.

Went looking for a special rosary for my mom found this beautiful piece which is from the Vadican Collection was not cheap but will be treasured. Besides th mission their gift shop & museum &beautiful garden. I requested to have it blessed which would take a day but a priest was available to bless my rosary for my mom who is ill but we gave faith God is in control ?
