0 stars! Such a rude and incompetently run pharmacy! So your doctor calls in prescriptions. But to get them filled, you have to call the store to fill prescriptions and if they don't have the medication, it's on you to call back and see if they can fill it in the near future? Call them every day so they can be aholes again? I have lived in many locations and this particularly pharmacy is the biggest piece of crap of one that I have ever frequented. They should be embarrassed!

We had to move to this Rite Aid pharmacy when the one across towne closed. What a mistake! This pharmacy is surrounded by riff-raff. The pharmacy team is overwhelmed by new clients, my meds are often not in stock at that location for weeks on end and their POS and computer systems there are slow and useless. I get that it's a stressful job. Sure. But the pharmacy team takes their stress out on us and they talk to us like we are part of the riff-raff outside-- the types of people they are used to dealing with. They are rude, they are judgemental, they are hurtful and they are entirely unprofessional!! For the sake of transparency, the pharmacy team consists of riff-raff themselves and the new clients are suffering for it. What's the deal here? Actually, what's the deal with that caucasian pharmacy tech at the register? We all know she's bad for business because she asks us to announce the meds, and the dose of meds, that we are picking up so loudly that it's a borderline HIPAA violation. The fact is, if the pharmacy team can not handle the job they are hired to do, if they can not wear a smile and greet the clients professionally while dealing with all the stresses that come along with working in that pharmacy, then they are UNQUALIFIED for their jobs. Period! So stop, profiling clients, stop blaming customers for your mess and stress at work and start delivering the quality care that Rite Aid advertises.Side note, the ambiance of the store is horrible! Beware of drug addicts wandering outside!!

Do not use this pharmacy especially if you take controlled medications! The main female pharmacist at Rite Aid is absolutely bizarre and a terrible person. For whatever reason (and she could be making this up as it makes no sense) she has always asked me where I’ve had my prescription filled because “my insurance is saying it’s been filled at a different pharmacy and it’s too early.” (NOT true, even my doctor can see where I’ve had things filled and he doesn’t understand why she won’t fill anything anymore…The pharmacy would always fill it anyway after putting up a fuss but after a few months, she finally refused to fill anymore controlled medications for me and is wrongfully accusing me of “using multiple pharmacies and transferring medications around” as well!! (I recently moved close to rite aid so I was having all of mine and my families medications transferred to rite aid) Even my doctor said that he doesn’t know what she’s talking about because it shows that they’re being transferred from ONE PHARMACY, not multiples.CVS is further of a drive which is inconvenient but I’ll be using them from now on indefinitely. I highly, highly suggest NOT GOING TO THIS RITE AID PHARMACY ESPECIALLY if you take controlled meds! That woman is delusional!

Horrible service. Never have my meds in store. Have to order them & wait another 2 weeks. Or sometimes they send you to pick up at another store in another town. Don't care at all about the customer. The most Frustrating place ever!

What's the deal with this store not answering the phone? Rings and rings incessantly, can't request refills on prescriptions. More of the lazy American work ethic.

This is a very poorly stocked store- and good luck finding an employee to locate the things that aren’t on shelves; although, if you do they invariably beg off with a vague, “I don’t know”…. No wonder the internet is killing you.

If you are prescribed a scheduled drug, just know that this pharmacy makes their own rules about when it can be filled and may blame your insurance company or you, when that is not the case at all. For me, it was none other than a national holiday weekend when my medication could be filled, according to them. I was stigmatized and treated with suspicion by the pharmacist for wanting to pick up my medication a few days early before traveling. I believe the pharmacist's exact words were, "Why do you need more medication? You JUST picked this up." I had picked up a 30-day supply 24 days prior. They blamed my insurance company, saying they wouldn't pay until the holiday weekend and made me pay out of pocket for the two day difference. However, when I called my insurance company to verify this, they said this couldn't be further from the truth and called them to get answers. What they found was that the truth is, Rite Aid won't fill any scheduled drug even 2 days early before you run out. They advised me to switch pharmacies immediately. So I did, and I'm now treated with courtesy and dignity with no issues. I found out that my insurance company does in fact allow me to pick up this particular medication in advance as needed. I will say that all my dealings with Rita were great. She was always kind and professional and seems to care about her job and customers. However, given the leadership at this pharmacy, I now understand the numerous negative reviews.
