I don't normally leave bad reviews however I am doing this in hopes that this never happens to another dog. My husband took our aussie in to be groomed and said he just needed the knots brushed out around his butt. When he went to pick up our dog he was completely shaved! You CAN NOT shave aussies or their hair won't grow back the same. Also...who shaves someone's dog without their permission?I have taken him in to my normal groomer for the last year hoping it would grow back okay but it has not. Please educate the staff on what breeds you can't shave or it ruins their fur forever.

This place is great!!! My dogs is little and loves interacting w the other dogs and they do a great job on his haircut!!! Hands down best place in Ventura county!

Great work, very nice people, and the dogs don't sit in crates all day but have doggy day care while they wait. Best grooming job I've had in the area.

Tom and Carrie have groomed Bentley since I moved here to Ventura 10 years ago. He always loves to see them and comes home very handsome. He is 18 years old and we really appreciate their extra care in this time of his life. He's a small dog so we are glad there are no Pits to worry about.

Our 2nd time here! Happy pup! Happy mom! Jax was well cared for and had lots of little friends to play with! His grooming was just right as well! The owners are very nice, warm and welcoming and I personally think this is an excellent option for dog grooming! Definitely coming back and highly recommend! Thank you!

Highly recommend.!! Thomas and Carrie Richardson are kind and friendly and do a wonderful job with my long-hair girl. Wendy loves her new cut. I like to make ponytails and I love to see her in bows.. She looks perfect, just what I wanted..! Thanks so much.

I requested an appointment for grooming for my two dogs and included all info, including pictures of my pups. All I got back was "we will not groom pits." Extremely unprofessional. Almost all pet professionals I have patronized in all the years of being a dog owner know that breed discrimination is arbitrary and therefore don't engage in it. Would not recommend to any actual pet lover.

I bring our Goldendoodle to get groomed at Cameo's! It's a family run business! They do a fantastic job! I've gone to quite a few other groomers and they never cut our doodle right! They give our dog the perfect cut everytimet! It's awesome their system is drop off your dog in the back entrance when she calls you up and they safely grab your dog and contact you when your dog is ready and you enter from the front! Very seemless and safe!

I'm so glad I tried this place. My dog looks beautiful! I love that the dogs get to hang out socializing instead of being in a crate. I thought the groomers and the doggies looked so happy, I had to take a picture! My new dog groomer for sure!

I take my very large (85 lbs) dog to Cameros for doggie day care 4 days a week and he loves it! He plays all day and comes home happy and exhausted. He pulls me in every morning so I know he is enjoying himself! I highly recommend Cameos for doggie day care! It is a very special place! Thank you Tom and Carrie for taking care of my pup everyday!

Wonderful family owned place. Took my 14 year old Golden here and they treated him like he was part of the family. Gave him a golden cut and he looks like a lol pup now. Everyone who comes to our house comments on his cute grooming. Love this place. Will be back!
