I requested the price of a gameboy advance cable that was unpriced in a display case. The employee working went on his laptop (I assume to check eBay) and priced the cable at $40. Okay even though that’s double than eBay prices, no worries fair enough. I said that I would think about that. Then I asked about an unpriced gameboy advance sp carrying case and was told it cost $10. I agreed and started to talk out my cash when the female employee said hold on one second then went on her laptop and said the price will now be $15…..Are you serious? Quoting an unpriced gameboy case at $10 after researching on the computer first then when I agree, you change the price to $15Of course I passed on both and will never come here again or recommend this place to anyone.

I'm glad there's more mom and pop game stores popping up and going strong. Neat finds every now and then. I just wish some prices weren't more than the same items elsewhere or trades felt worth it. Their hours are also all over the place. I would come here more than once a year otherwise.

Just Awful, I've never been to a place that changes the marked price once you are ready to checkout. They doubled the price on all the games I was purchasing. Insane how they conduct business.

Mom and pop shop that’s not eBay or big tech. Get it not, you pay more. It’s vintage game stuff what do you expect? If eBay gives you better price then why bother? Oh yeah because you can get it right now and it’s local. With that said I enjoy the arcade that’s here. ?

Ive had very pleasant experiences with this store! Their game store’s shelves are packed with tons video game titles, consoles, controllers, and collectibles. Loads of new product also rolls in all the time so their inventory is always fresh. Hidden treasures await! Build out with a ton of classics as well as some newer-gen titles, the arcade is a shining gem! I have been into the arcade a few times and it does seem like the owners are always actively rotating in new games. I heard the classic 4-player Ninja Turtle game was going in soon. ? One important key point: The token system for the arcade is unique and the space is set up for optimal cost-to-fun balance. Most games cost 1 or 2 tokens. Talk about nostalgia! We played for hours! We arranged a children’s birthday function at the arcade recently. We had a fairly large crew that showed up and it was a complete success! The parents had as much fun as the kids did! The owner was tremendously knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and was on right on top of all our requests. Hospitality is a rarity these days but you’ll find it here. Support this local spot.

Everything over priced including retro games in bad condition. Buy at your own risk due to the poor return policy, the longer you wait it becomes useless. They also don't accept refunds.

I had a friend buy a Sega Genesis mini with 300 games on my belhalf. I started playing Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter series games only to find out I can’t switch between hi and low kick/punch. I called and asked if I could return it and purchase a regular console with the game cartridges instead. They said no, they don’t accept returns. They said they would allow me trade it in. I was thinking okay fair enough, I’ll take a small hit on it and get the actual console. Less than half of what I paid for it is what they offered. Then they said you need a 6 button controller to play those games. I asked if they have a 6 button controller. They said no, they’re all out of stock. Then I asked if there was anything he could work on with me since I was more than happy to spend money at his store. He said he didn’t have time for this because he was extremely busy. I thanked him for his time regardless but was extremely disappointed on my interactions with them. I understand buying a game and not being able to return it because “I didn’t like the story” but I couldn’t play 2 of the biggest and most popular franchises to their full extent and they were not willing to accommodate me at all. Needless to say I won’t be supporting this local “mom and pop” anymore.

I got scammed from a Amiibo. The Amiibo was Dusty and was used, I could’ve got a used Amiibo on eBay instead. Also they weren’t friendly, They had lower energy then Walmart and McDonald’s. Also They were paying us $50 for 150 GB, for a Xbox 360, BUT I FOUND BETTER PRICES ON EBAY!!!. In my opinion… this place was a big “SCAM”Instead buy it from eBay.

haven't been in a minute, just hope they still do fighting game meetups, i never got the chance to go because of my old job. also to that guy who's friend bought a genesis, that console has 3 buttons, you gotta push the start button to swap from punch to kick... that's the way the games were on the genesis, unless you have a six button controller....

Lots of retro arcades and games lining the shelves and displays, definitely worth a visit to browse around at the history inside if nothing else.

This venue was now well organized or viewer friendly. A general admission ticket got you in the gate but not access to see the venues as they took place. Needed special VIP passes to see the skateboarding as it was completely sectioned off and guarded so general admission could not access. A decent view of any event required VIP pass. Not enough places to sit. Families all sitting on the hard ground. Nothing was labeled or announced for direction as what to see and where. Could have done a much better job for the prices they charged.

Absolute nostalgic place to visit. Highly recommend to those that are looking for old school to new school video games. Very retro games for everyone to buy and very nice people. Will definitely come back just to play some of the old arcade games.

When I first came to this store, my impression of it was amazing! All these games and retro things inside one store were truly impressive. I occasionally returned to the store to browse and have items appraised. However, I have decided not to return anymore. Why won't I be returning? Well, I had a Game Boy Color that I wanted to get appraised to see how much I could get for it. So, I went over and asked the store owner how much he would offer me. He looked at it and quoted me $50. Satisfied with the price, I left. However, when I returned a few days later, he changed his offer to $40. I had to remind him that he initially quoted me $50. This incident was just one example among a few others. This store offers a wide variety of items and games. One day, my son and I entered the store to check out some items and have two things appraised. We took our time exploring the selection and ended up picking six games. We then proceeded to the register to leave the two items for appraisal and inquire about the total cost of all the games. The cashier informed us that the amount would be around $60 (I don't recall the exact price). We requested to put the money towards the games once they were appraised. However, when we returned after a few days, we approached the cashier to inquire about the appraisal results. To our surprise, she stated that the value of both items was only $15. On eBay, we found similar items priced at around $48. If they had quoted $15 for each item, it would have been acceptable. Additionally, when we inquired about the prices of the games we had placed on hold, the cashier had to consult the owner, who mentioned that prices fluctuate daily. Consequently, the revised price had increased from $60 to $75. Moreover, before these incidents, we had purchased games from this store and had to clean them multiple times with vinegar to finally get them to work. It strongly suggests that they do not adequately clean or inspect the games To make sure they work before placing them for sale. All in all, due to the consistent low-ball appraisals the difficulty in getting the games to function properly, and the fluctuating prices despite putting items on hold, I have decided not to return to this store.
