Ian was amazing on the phone. I called a few minutes before opening and he was on the spot to answer the call and help with my request. It’s amazing to have a shop provide such good phone service!

Five stars for a great experience, service and care. I was in town from the other side of the country for work and somewhat unexpectedly blew out my Fox fork due to age. These guys helped me get the fork rebuilt in far less time than average so I could still enjoy the trails for the duration of my visit. Knowledgeable and friendly. Stop by if you’re in need!

Always super friendly and fast service. They have so much bike knowledge and treat you great, they don’t try to upscale you, just get you what you need and recommend great products. My go to bike store.

This bike shop is awesome! Staff is so friendly. We needed an urgent tire swap and they were able to accommodate us right when we got there. Would highly recommend this shop.

When I moved to Ventura many years ago and wanted to take up cycling, I stumbled upon this shop, and from that point on, I was a loyal customer and devoted fan of the team there. They are customer centric, and will listen to your needs and not upsell you just to make a buck. If they don’t have what you need they will be upfront about it. They will make recommendations for your needs based on budget, and your needs. I’ve since moved away, and miss this place immensely. Highly recommend for any cycling needs.

I honestly cannot say enough about these guys. I had 2 popped tubes in the past 2 weeks and they fixed them both right away for me and at a fair and reasonable price. Thank you guys. You have a customer for life with me.

I am new to road biking and couldn’t justify spending 1,000’s on my 1st bike. I purchased a $300 bike from Amazon and…surprise surprise, had issues with the back tire seating properly on the rim. One bike shop in town told me it’s basically Chinese junk and ride it until it breaks then buy a “real one”. Although they were not wrong, it felt a bit rude.Today I brought the bike to Ian at Open Air and he was happy to help me out. Not only did he get my issue fixed right on the spot, he had a great attitude, was personable, friendly and informative. He didn’t make any negative comments about my bike, and totally understood where I was coming from being new to the sport and not wanting to purchase an expensive bike yet. He gave me some great info about better entry-level bikes and I’ll definitely be returning to purchase my first “real bike”. Thanks Ian and the Open Air crew ?

I took my expensive specialized Creole Evo to four different shops because of the noise in the bottom bracket and open air is the only shop that looked into it found the problem ordered it under warranty and took care of me. They have been there for many many years and have just about every accessory bicycle that a person would want to purchase. They are all friendly and they have one of the top mechanics in the entire county.

We live in Montana, bought a bike for my daughter about a year ago. Wanted a local store in case it needed anything in the future. Today her online purchased bike lock LOCKED UP! Grrr! After working through several attempts. She decided to call the shop. The fellow told her to stay put. He showed up with bolt cutters dispatched the old lock. Refused payment. You proved we made the right decision by going above and beyond. It comforts our parent hearts to know that there are still good people out there taking care of others. with intense gratitude - the Parents 1,600 miles away.

Stopped by while traveling in Ventura. This is another absolutely great example of a bike shop in a bike-tourism area that is doing an exemplary job. The staff were immensely helpful and friendly, and the pricing was very fair. If I lived in this area, this would definitely be my go-to local bike shop.

New to mountain biking, went in there to buy a bike for myself and my son. I need up leaving without even test riding because the young guy in there was pretty condescending and not helpful. Missed out on two possible bike sales and local customer.

I went to this place two weeks ago and got a tire switched, I thought they were okay.I called them this morning and this guy said come on in, so I rode my bike across town to have both tires switched, the guy at the place was kind of rude when I brought up that I had just been in a couple weeks ago he's like oh oh well, and???He also told me that they weren't going to switch the tires today and 50 minutes before that, The guy told me to come in and that they can get it done quick..That's not the way to do business. I would avoid this place.
