Terrible art supply stock and selection ! Can never find the items I need.. Store . Store is more concentrated on seasonal crafting . Horrible!

I came in today buying youth shirts for my softball team I needed another youth small. I asked Elder if they had anymore and he helped me out went above and beyond. Great service thank you. Also the shirts were a great value gildan $2.99.

I placed an order so my husband could pickup the order and he was given the worst customer service! The one guy, that was working the frame dept., he asked him if he can call someone to get help in the embroidery dept., since my order was not yet ready. My husband figured he will get my item and checkout. The man replied with "what's your problem dog". In which my husband said I am not your dog and I was asking for help. The rep then walked away mumbling. My husband then asked the register lady and for help and she replied with a smart-alike remark. So he left frustrated. Then I went in and my items show as "Unavailable" when they did show available at the store so the online process does not work either. This location has went downhill 100%. I will never go back here.

Service is great. But they are always low on stock and the store is always messy. I went a week ago and did not find what I needed. I have to drive 40 miles to the other well stocked Michael's. In SLO. That's all. Too bad we have only one craft store in Paso Robles.

Michael's craft store in Ventura consistently impresses with its frequent sales and discounts, making it a reliable destination. Finding specific items is usually a breeze, thanks to their well-organized layout. The exceptional customer service adds to the positive experience, especially during checkout with the abundance of available coupons, including using Jenny's phone number (IYKYK) overall a great value. However, it's worth noting that during peak seasons, the shelves can be somewhat sparse for holiday items. Overall, a great store with minor room for improvement during high-demand periods.

I absolutely love Michaels. I always find interesting things and good deals obviously! I can spend hours there and be able to create so much with the things they have. Today I went there because I had a reward that I wanted to use. I wasnt sure what I was going to get but I wanted to make sure to use so it doesnt expire as usual. I looked at some photo acrylic frames which were really nice. It was only a $1. As i was looking around, one of the Store employees, his name was Elder, he approached me and asked If I was looking for a mirror because they have a nice one in the store. He thought I was looking for decorating my house so I said sure, He said it was $5!! The mirror was a steal!! It was only $5 but its worth $80-100. I needed a mirror for my other room. Thank you Elder for the outstanding service and Michaels for the amazing collection of things!!

My girlfriend and I who are frequent shoppers received a present from her dad of some Golden acrylic paints, unfortunately, these paints were the wrong type because we use oil paints so we decided to return them and pick out the right type of paints we use. We did not have a receipt so we only got back about half of what they were worth which is fine we understood that it would go for the lowest price it was sold for but we noticed on a couple of the more expensive ones there was a manager override nd the price drop was Ludacris. We did not complain but we did notice an attitude towards us like we did something wrong. As we went to look for paints they followed us. We ignored nd went about debating on colors grabbed about 3 of them then went looking for a pallet knife. That's when Regina, one of the employees approached us in front of another customer and offered us a hand held basket we said no thanks we got it. She insisted nd when we politely said we could handle them she said" we need you to put your paints in a basket " as she put the basket on the floor, with a customer in between us, then she slid the basket across the floor to us and repeated u need to put them in a basket. I never heard of a policy saying we are not allowed to carry a couple paints. At this point she walked away and with a stunned look we got re assured by the other customer that she never heard of having to use a basket nd was shocked at Regina's behavior. We left the basket there nd went back to look for a paint pallet then another employee came up and more politely asked if we needed a basket cuz there's one laying on the floor on the isle we just came from. At this point we figured they were just messing with us for some reason. We are regulars at hobby lobby and Michaels and love shopping there and have never had an experience anything like this or remotely close to as hurtful as this. The manager eider from the start made us feel interrogated, unwelcomed, scammed, and targeted for no reason other than a return well within the stores policy. We will not be going back nd hope the other stores we visit won't follow the same hurtful and damaging behavior. My girlfriend cried and was emotionally distraught in the car for how they treated us and I pray none of you go through the same. Please learn from this and treat customers as customers. Make them feel welcomed. God bless

I was shopping for candles and I thought they were on sale so I asked and the cashier rudely said "no" so as I set the ones that I wanted down, she asked me what I was "doing" and was "mixing up the candles she had already set down". While she was scanning my candles, a coworker asked her a question and she rudely replied "wait I'm dealing with them right now" even though I was patient and understanding???

So had large print custom framed , what a nightmare!! First time they said it was done , it was obvious that something was placed on top of rolled poster , ordered anther print ! Michael's refused to pay ! Then picked up second time , matting was loose , third pick up had backing pushing into picture 300 dollars later we got print . Decided to get wedding print framed and give them another chance , it's a metal frame with different mounting on both sides of frame and hanging line was upside down WTH !! Still waiting on call that it is repaired DO NOT FRAME AT THIS STORE

This store never disappoints, specially during the holiday season. If you like decorations whether it's for your tree or around the house, they have plenty and for such a good price. Most of their Christmas stuff already at 60% off. Cute seasonal crafty stuff to keep the little ones entertained. I appreciate their Hanukkah stuff but I wish it was more varied. Ordering online and picking up at the store is a breeze, too. Don't forget to use them coupons from their app.

Everything's well stoked and easy to find. Customer service is friendly and if they don't have what you need you can have them contact you when it in. Over all, pretty good Michaels.

I'm giving them a 5 stars rating because of their framing department! What incredible service! Can't remember the gals name who helped me but she was great! I brought in a large collage of photos that I had created online and needed it framed for my husbands birthday and while it wasn't cheap... it was worth every penny! I went back in to pick it up two weeks later and it was beautiful! John was working the counter at that time and he was very helpful with assisting me in choosing the right easel-he showed me where the easels were on the different aisles and explained why one would be better than the other etc... after helping me choose he had me go upfront to pay and brought my framed picture to the front for me while I was in line. So helpful, friendly-just a super nice guy who seems to care about his job and the customers!

It's a really great store well laid out and fun to shop there, but I got to say the last two times I was there there was only one checker and she was working her head off. She's such a good employee she just kept working super fast. The line wasn't even that long but you could tell she wanted to stay on top of it. There doesn't seem to be anyone else in the store. It would be nice if there was one more person to be on the floor so there's someone to ask questions it's such a big store it's hard to find stuff sometimes.
