I want to thank Rick Mueller for helping me lease my 2024 Subaru Outback Touring XT. It is an amazing care and Rick made it happen for me. I wanted to lease the Solterra (all EV) but because of the lackluster range, charging speed/time and this being the first generation, I will skip this for now. Good news is in the the next couple of years Subaru will be introducing their hybrid vehicle or vehicles. Can't wait when Subaru do announce the hybrids. Thank you Rick! I believe this is my second Subaru from you.

We owned a kia Soul for 2 years from the Kirby dealership. Yesterday we went to check the Subaru 's vehicles, same dealership. My husband and I were in a fishing expedition, Maybe a trade in for a Crosstrek, the car I had in mind, if a good deal were to shape! I never thought that after 2 hours we would walk out with a new white Crosstrek, the premium model! It will be my new car much better to drive in the LA traffic than the Kia. It was a smooth transaction, The sales agent, Matthew A. that we dealt with, put no pressure on us, showed us around the lot, explained at length about the car features, offered us a fare price for a trade in and we also got a bit of a discount on the Subaru, the 2024 model. The new cars had just got in the lot. We couldn't resist! It was a nice experience and I love my new car! It even fits in the garage!!Thank you, Loretta L. Carpinteria

I went to Kirby Subaru to look at a certified pre-owned Forester Sport, which I happily purchased. As I was getting out of my car I was greeted by Lars Vankirk. He informed me there were 3 Forester Sports all the same year. Lars' knowledge about the car was amazing! He knew everything about the features and upgrades the car came with, and thoroughly explained everything I wanted to know.I went for a test drive, and went inside to talk about the price. Lars was great to work with and I signed all of the paperwork. They were happy to let me come back to pick up the car a couple days later since it was getting late.Lars gave me a great tutorial on everything I needed to know to get started with my new car, and it has made navigating the features very easy since. I spent a couple months searching for the right car, and my experience at Kirby Subaru was far better than anywhere else! Love my new car!

I have purchased my last 3 vehicles from Kirby with a fantastic experience always. Most recently I needed a very quick turnaround and safe option to take back to Oregon for driving in snow and ice. I had a Kia to trade in for a Subaru and wanted a gently used SUV with low mileage. The response by Jim Reed, Internet Sales Manager, was swift with a perfect match! I most appreciated his patience and understanding and making it easy and within my budget. He was thorough in describing my new car's features before I drove off and guided me by phone during off hours while on the road. Call Kirby first always for great options and Jim specifically if your want a used car you can count on!

I bought out my lease recently and was assisted by Austin Dietz. He was very personable, knowledgeable and kind. After going on to the finance office I was again in great hands. I felt like I was truly cared for and not just another customer to be pushed through. I had an overall enjoyable experience. I've had some unsettling experiences at other dealerships in the past. At Kirby in Ventura from the sales to the service department I've been very satisfied multiple times over. A valued customer since 2011. This is my 3rd Subaru I've owned and my second Forester.

Good sales crew, patient and not pushy. Really appreciate Eric's kind nature and attention to detail. We purchased a 2024 Crosstrek and left super happy. WAY better experience than the Santa Monica Suburu. Ask for Eric!

I just bought a 2023 CrossTrek at Kirby Subaru of Ventura. Sales rep Lars Van Kirk really made the difference compared with other car lots I visited. He had just the right demeanor: patient, knowledgeable, and not pushy. And I really like my new car! Kudos to Lars and Kirby Subaru.

My wife and I just had our best car-buying (technically, leasing) experience ever at Kirby Subaru, thanks to the help we got from Jim. From our first conversation on the phone I could tell Jim was a straight shooter and not your typical car salesman who always seems to be hiding something. When we got to the dealership, Jim made sure we were comfortable and went through the deal, which - in a pleasant surprise - was exactly what we'd agreed to on the phone. So all that was left to be done was to sign a few papers, and my wife and I greatly enjoyed swapping stories with Jim throughout the process. At no time did we feel that he was trying to upsell us or anything - it was just an old-fashioned honest business transaction with a really good guy! So if you're looking for a Subaru, do yourself a favor and check out Kirby - and ask for Jim!

5 stars because their team had the heart to service my car even with most staff already gone for the evening. Back story- I’m traveling with my family across the country and Santa Maria is one of our last stops before heading up to Big Sur and I needed an oil change and tire rotation and Kirby is one of the best rated Subaru dealers I’ve seen but I arrived at like 4:15 pm unsure if anyone would service or not and I forget his name but he was so sweet to say they’d get it done for us ? had us out the door an hour later. Price is reasonable ($129). They did a complete multi inspection. Car is running great. Thanks guys :)-Dominique

I scheduled an appointment at 10:45 today to check my tires ( low pressure light had just come on.) I arrived at 10:40. I waited and waited. Finally, at 12:15, I decided to see if my car was still in the service bay. It was not. It was parked halfway across the lot. I was hopeful this meant my car was done. I had someone check only to learn no one had done anything, not even looked at it. I asked why I was given an appointment if they were unable to do the work? No answer. I asked why they didn't follow up themselves to make sure it was being serviced and if not , let me know there was a delay. No answer. At that point, I got in my car and left. Terrible service. No excuse for it.
