Had a great experience buying my new Seltos through Miquel Hurtado! He spent all the time I needed explaining the process and all the features of the car. I felt like I got a good price and he did his best to ease the stress of car buying. David Otremba in the Finance office was also very personable and eased me through the paperwork. Overall, a very good experience.

It’s been a wonderful experience with the dealership especially the sales department. The internet sales manager George Estrada was really good in getting me new 2023 Kia Sportage Ex Hybrid and even went above beyond to keep me informed when it arrived from the dealership. George even came to deliver my car at work and I was happy that he was able to come to my workplace and deliver my car.

I have enjoyed using Nathan in the service department for my car for the last few years. Nathan is beyond tremendous and delivers exceptional service every time. That’s why I’m willing to pay $500 to have it delivered at this dealership instead of a mile away at another dealership.It just wouldn’t be fair for them to try to deliver such high standards I am used to and I would end up disappointed. Then I would end up coming to Nathan to fix their mistakes.so as of now I will just come to Kirby Kia in Ventura.

I'm not easily impressed but I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Kirby Kia of Ventura. I contacted the dealership with my requirements for a new lease. They got back to me and said they were able to meet those requirements. There was no back and forth, no pressure tactics, and no haggling whatsoever. I went in and completed the whole process within an hour. The vehicle was absolutely beautiful. When you make a good product, it sells itself. The whole process was so easy that I kept expecting a catch but there was none. I highly recommend this dealership and my sales manager John Gonzales!

I purchased a NEW 2022 Kia Sorento last year, I've had the car for 15 months now and it broke down. On Saturday 10/21/23 I got my car serviced at Kirby Kia as per usual. However, on Tuesday 10/24 3 days after it got serviced -- The Auto start/off turned on while I was driving (going 55 mph) the car then starts shaking and the the engine service light turns on as well as the auto start light turns on with a warning. The car then completely starts to decelerate very fast and before it comes to a stop I was able to pull to the side of the road. This is a big hazard for the driver and it could have resulted in a terrible accident due to traffic speed and the car stopping so fast and suddenly. Thankfully I was able to pull over to the side, the car was making a loud noise (sounded like it was going to explode) i got scared and turned off the car. The car never turned on after that. Strange for a new car with only 16k miles to have problems like these. I popped the hood open and I come to find that the car liquids were not topped off as it stated on the service papers that I was given that Saturday. The top of the radiator reservoir did not have its lid on. Could be a minor thing but to me this is a bigger issue, because if they cant even bother to put a lid back on it makes me question their integrity on how they service their cars. When I was purchasing the car I had salesmen call me continuously and they provided good service, but when I have an issue they are unreliable. Jason stated I'd get a call with an update in regards to what the caused the car to fail. Jason never called me, never retuned my calls. I was told by a worker who answered "I will transfer over the call, he is anxious to speak with you" I was then placed on a hold for 5-10 minutes and the call was then hung up... so I never spoke to Jason-- again! Once I complained to Diane (she was really nice and understanding compared to the other workers) once my call with Diane ended, I immediately received a call from Jason. Coincidence?? I told him that I would only speak to the manager David which I am still waiting on his call. Lets see if he will follow up. Talking with Diane, I found out that my number was not even registered to my car (which I previously provided to Jason, and he "wrote it down" clearly not. When I called the Tow truck from Kia services they stated my policy was purchased under another name and my car VIN # did not match my name, I was told I'd have to pay almost $200 to have it towed 8.7 miles. I called the dispatch call after being informed that it was at a cost. I opted to call my insurance instead as I am offered 7 miles at no cost.(I paid for the difference in mileage $20). The principle of it is I shouldn't have to pay 1cent to have my car towed as that is the benefit of buying a new car. Once again, seems like the information was not documented correctly on their system. I like to buy new cars over used because I like the services that come with it and the convenience. However, I will NEVER buy a Kia car or any car from their dealership (Kirby Kia) for that matter, due to the terrible service and follow up process. I've never had a problem with any dealership for my other cars (non Kia) so this will be my first and last with Kirby Kia. If you like good service when purchasing a car and bad service when you need something else, then definitely purchase here. That's exactly what you will get. If I could give 0 stars I would. Spoke to David Bodjanac the "manager" he took ownership of the terrible customer service and apologized. However, he seemed more concerned with my review rather than the problem I encountered. He asked me a couple of times to remove my review. Once I left the dealership, he called me to inform me that I am no longer welcomed at Kirby Kia nor will they ever service me again. Seems like their motto is to punish the client for their mistakes. As a manager your job is to de-escalate the situation David preferred to escalate it. Even had the audacity to insinuate

I was quoted a price online for a 75k mile tune up $245.25 (online, printed out). Once I got into the service office it turned into $279.00 and nobody could explain why. They tried to say it was tax or some bullshit, but the math was not mathing.I had to really push to find out what happened (sent several emails) and turned out they had *inadvertently* overcharged me by $31 and some odd change.Had I not pushed, that money would have been stolen from me. They said it was for an engine additive that I did not get.I got a refund in the end, but I don't like being treated like a fool. I bought my car from them too, and am a good customer, and I won't go back.

Buying a car here was the most welcoming experience I've had buying a car. Miguel, David, Jose, all the guys who helped us out were great! Even though the process is always long they did their best getting everything together correctly and we appreciate that attention to detail.

Tim Miller was a great help in selecting our new Subaru. Also Bruce Holly was so generous and extremely helpful. We walked in and 2 1/2 hours later we drove the new car home. Exactly what we wanted with so little hassle. It was such a great experience that I am going to take my daughter there next week to get her a new car!!!

I am super happy with the attention I received at Kirby Kia. Samantha and Trevor made this experience an absolute dream. We needed a car with some features that were not readily available. Samantha located the vehicle and got it to us in no time. I called EVERY Kia dealership in California and no one was as easy to work with than Kirby Kia. Will definitely get my cars here in the future. My wife is happy so I’m happy. Thank you both for your time and dedication!

I will always buy my cars from Tim Miller at Kirby Subaru in Ventura. Bruce Holly is awesome as well and the lady in the finance department Rocks. This was the most efficient and easy car buying experience I have ever had. Everyone was so professional and caring. We had a difficult transaction and they made it all so respectful. I can't say enough about how amazing all the employees at Kirby Subaru were. I am taking my daughter there next week to buy her car because I loved my experience and the great car I got
