I've never experienced a salon quite like KINshoppe and now that I have found KINshoppe, I never have to experience another salon! I booked with Roxy (Discovered her on IG) and not only do I love my new hair but I loved the entire salon experience. She provided a preference sheet prior to my appt and on that sheet I was able to choose what type of appt I preferred such as silent, energetic or relaxed. I was given the drink menu-- I chose the monthly drink and it was waiting for me upon my arrival. The preference sheet also asked if there were additional services I wanted to add in addition to my complimentary scalp massage!! From start to finish, I felt like I received royal treatment. The vibe was calm, the aesthetic is adorable and Roxy is kind, honest (and she listened to my wants!) I have already booked my next session!

Beautiful salon. All of the stylists were nice. My hair was colored by Roxy and it looks amazing. Great atmosphere. Easy parking. Affordable and you will leave looking beautiful!

Worst experience ever. Khandyce is very bad in communication and will keep you hanging regarding a appointment. Explained any date she had open was okay with me and said she had next week then text no openings for the next few weeks?? Must not need the business.

Nicole is an absolute gem when it comes to hair color! Her talent and expertise shine through in every appointment! She understands exactly what I envision and it makes my appointments enjoyable. Her warm and welcoming personality creates a salon experience like no other. Her quick and responsive communication ensures that every visit is seamless, leaving me feeling pampered, relaxed and confident with the stunning results.

As someone with curly hair, it is so wonderful to have someone who knows how to cut curls! I had an appointment with Jordan. She was friendly and took the time to educate me in why she was cutting it a certain way (while asking for my opinion!)/styling. I think I will be back!

My experience was a 10/10! I reviewed their website, read about each of the stylists, and filled out my consultation form requesting Sam as a stylist. A day or two later Sam emailed me personally and we scheduled an appointment. Flash forward to today, I met with Sam for the first time and she allotted plenty of time to go over everything about my hair. I've never had this experience before at another salon! Before Sam even picked up the scissors we sat and talked about my current hair + goal hair. She was very thorough and asked me a lot of questions about how I wanted it cut + styled. Great experience. I felt super comfortable asking my own questions and speaking up about changes and length. Would recommend her to anyone!

Sam Murillo did my hair today and it turned out FABULOUS ! It was my first time attending this salon and getting my hair done by Sam. She really made sure to accomplish exactly what I wanted. We had the best chats and most importantly she was honest but so supportive of my ideas and bringing them to life ! I felt so at home in this salon because of her. I left with confidence and knew that this was the person I trusted with my whole head of hair. I am so in love with my new look and my new hairstylist ! If you are looking for someone I HIGHLY suggest Sam and this salon to get your hair done ! :) you will feel at home and I promise you’ll fall in love with her the way I did ! Thank you Sam ! ❤️

I would like to give a good review of the service but I was never able to try the salon out. A very stylish friend - my go-to for recommendations referred me to Roxy for color and cut. You can't call the shop everything is online, which is fine so I filled out a VERY lengthy questionnaire about my hair type, it even requested photos - I guess this is so she doesn't have to waste time with in-person consults. I filled the entire thing out and never heard back, very frustrating! I figured ok, not meant to be, and reached out to another stylist and same experience never heard back. Respectfully this is Ventura, not NYC or even LA, this isn't a salon with a national following or nationally known stylists where they are so big things would fall through the cracks. I ended up at another Salon and was thrilled with the work

Such a cute location - it's clean and aesthetically pleasing. You need to contact your stylist to make an appointment - no walk ins. BUT, that being said - Christina is amazing. I was a new client to her and she booked me at the end of her day. I had originally wanted just 1 overall color and trim but ultimately decided I wanted a new color with added burgundy highlights and a chop. She was so accommodating, listened to what I was asking for and made recommendations. Outcome was amazing. Highly recommend Christina, she's a gem!

I finally found a hairdresser who knows curls! Jordan Perez is so sweet but more importantly she understands how to cut curly hair. It may not sound like a big deal to most, but to those of us who have curly hair, that's everything!
