I stayed with Kaiser because they have a good behavior health department! But I am a senior citizen and they treated me as a nuisance! I used to be a nurse and I know how bad a HMO can be! But I why treated like I didn't matter! The nurses were nice though! Its the doctors that won't stop laughing at a joke they must have heard while treating me for pain. A physical therapist that told me there is NOTHING he can do for me???!!! Leaving this horrible (Nixon) insurance never look back!!!!

My Mother needed a Blood Pressure check here on Hill Rd. I asked if the nurse would be willing & allowed to come out to the car as my mom is quite elderly & frail. Getting her in & out of the car & wheelchair raises her BP as it is. A young man named Jason came out smiling & happy to do something different to help a patient. The BP cuff wasn't working, Jason tried repairing it himself, but it didn't work. He then tried a wrist cuff & it worked. Unfortunately, my mom's BP was still high. He tried it twice. It's still too high. Jason made her another BP check appointment. My mother has been a Kaiser patient for 25+ yrs. Most if the time she's had good to great care! Thank you Jason!!

The short haired woman working at the Kaiser Pharmacy around 12:15 Tuesday March 14 needs to learn the meaning of the word \\\"work\\\". She was the only counter employee. Instead of working, she socializes with other employees. When the next person in line went to the counter to check on their prescription, she left the counter for three minutes, just to show who was the boss. Go to Market Street instead. It may be busier, but the people there actually focus on their jobs, not chatting.

Since becoming a Kaiser member 10 years ago I can't say enough about how much I love it. Every experience from physicals to broken bones child birth and everything in between has been amazing. With so many services performed on site there's very little need making second appointments or driving to other facilities unless it's for more complex or rarely performed procedures. A single stop can get you x rays, office visit, lab work and pharmacy and it flows in the most efficient manner. Utilizing the KP app makes setting up appointments or following up on after visit results.

It takes forever to make an appointment and figure out which number you're supposed to be calling. Recently I couldn't get a TB test in time for new job since they only offered it during a clinic time, and now that I'm having to go to CVS for it, Kaiser isn't accepted and I have to pay out of pocket. Whenever I have to deal with something medical through Kaiser I'm only left frustrated.

Made the trip out here to get an echocardiogram done. The Kaiser I usually go to in Woodland Hills was booked solid for 6 weeks! This location was easy to get to, had lots of organized parking and was very clean. The girls at the welcome / entrance counter were very nice. The waiting area, cardiology, for my test as well as the room were the echocardiogram was done were all clean and nice. I felt very comfortable and confident. The guy / tech that did my echocardiogram, Gregory Ulysses Anderson was a pro and made me feel comfortable while doing the procedure. He made sure that I was good before and after and asked me if I had any questions or concerns, which I did not. I do recommend coming going here if needed, overall a pleasant and quick procedure / experience!

I have given this facility multiple tries and am always disappointed with the doctors and staff at this location. Do all you can to not be seen at this location because they are not accommodating or caring.

Terrible unprofessional service! The Lab Department needs retraining. No discretion is used when talking about patients lab work. In addition, 5 lab techs congregate at the intake desk watching inappropriate ticktok videos loudly with no acknowledgement to the patients in the lobby. No verbal directions are given upon arriving other than a placard on the wall stating take a number. You take the number and the lab techs skip sequence of number to others (friends) in the lobby. I expressed my concern and I was treated rudely. It's so sad to see this facility go from day one amazing to what it is today. :(

I started feeling bad on 12/9/20. My problems were a bad headache, low-grade sore throat, severe cough, constantly runny nose, and difficulty swallowing anything. After two days, since we are in the middle of a global pandemic, I thought I would ask my so-called "health care provider" if I could get tested for COVID-19 because I am ultra-cautious about protecting myself from it so I couldn't imagine something as simple as a cold could get through my defenses which consists of wearing a mask everywhere, wearing gloves when I go into a store, avoiding stores as much as possible, taking immune-boosting vitamins C, B6, E, and D3, etc. I also got a flu shot for the first time in my life (I am 68). But I still got sick with "something". Anyway, my "doctor" refused to order a test for me saying that they had a limited amount of "asymptomatic tests" (I guess my issues didn't check enough boxes) available and whining about lab capacity. I could have gone to CVS, Walgreens, etc., and got a FREE test but since I am PAYING my "health care provider" for service while avoiding public places at all costs, I didn't want to do this. After weeks of trying to get over whatever I have, on 12/29/20, I finally went to a FREE drive-through testing location provided by my county. My test came back negative in two days. I decided to again try and get an appointment with my "health care provider" because I AM STILL SICK with "something", however, since I don't have COVID-19, the soonest I can get in is 1/19/21. Three weeks from when I booked the appointment. Three more weeks of coughing, having difficulty swallowing, having a continuous headache, etc. I feel like my "health care provider" is gambling with my life.

This review is specifically for Dr. Joanna GIBBONS. She has been such a great doctor to work with and is very personable and caring. She answers questions and provides feedback. She has taken steps to adress my issues with care and has knowledge of mental health that not all doctors are as well versed in, in my experience. Kaiser is lucky to have her!

My review is for the discharge coordinator for Kaiser Permanente. I took my mom to the ER at CMH Hospital in March, because of Covid I couldn't go in, that's ok . I sat in the parking lot and waited for updates. After several updates. The nurse told me she would be admitted and a Dr would call me once she was settled in on her floor. I was driving home and my cellphone rang . It was a discharge coordinator making plans for her to come home. I was a little miffed and told her " I thinks the Drs better find out what is wrong with her before you start telling me about her going home. And that I was ending the call. My mother was at CMH 5 weeks and had a very major surgery. Once home again they called to ask if we needed anything. Everything I asked for they said " we don't do that" i told them then stop waiting my time because all they were doing was checking off their boxes. Fast forward to Aug again my mother was admitted. Thus time she would be sent home on hospice. Mabel the discharge coordinator setting it up. I was told a 3pm discharge, at 4pm the nurse came in and said it was pushed back to 6 . Finally at 730 we were going home. But the pharmacy has closed . Mabel should never discharge patients on Hospice home after hours . One star because it won't allow 0

Dr Joanna Gibbons is an exceptionally kind and knowledgeable doctor. My daughter and I have chosen her as our PCP and we couldn't be happier. She truly cares about her patients, allowing for all concerns to be addressed and is patient-focused. I would recommend her to anyone who is signing up or looking for a partner in your healthcare needs.

I order on the app ahead of time, so I'm always in and out in 5 minutes or less. Everyone there is very nice.
