Gary Scott State Farm Insurance has been my insurance for years. They have "ALL" ALWAYS treated me with the upmost respect and courtesy. Shilo, Margi and the rest of the crew, have shown me nothing but professionalism and I'm quite happy with them as my Insurance agents.

I switched my State Farm insurance to another agent because of the bad attitude and disrespect Shiloh has displayed to me. He has a good knowledge of State Farm policies, but he has no interest in being helpful. He even screens my phone calls & ignores them or directs them to someone else. Instead he is accusatory and has also made mistakes on my policy in the past and then someone else at Gary Scott's company had to fix these errors.
I was so satisfied with my service for over 12 years and how helpful Margie has always been, but I will no longer be with Gary Scott due to the recent happenings with Shiloh's service to customers.

I miss Diane! I felt like Diane had my best interest at heart all the time, I have not felt the same since she has been gone. The customer service as far as answering the phone and responding to emails has been really great with StateFarm, however, I feel that the price I am paying is hardly getting me anything! I am paying far more than my friends who belong to other insurance companies and after being in a little accident, my very first one ever, I'm questioning the point of insurance. Every little thing is an additional monthly fee, and after 22 years of being a great driver and paying my monthly bill on time every month, I cannot even get a rental car! This six-year penalty for a little fender bender will probably equal out to be more than what the insurance is even paying for the damages. Not a happy customer and looking in to changing to another company. Im shocked at the lack of compassion or help. Margie is wonderful, and I miss Diane.

Awful customer service to the point where I changed agents. My husband and I have been policyholders with Gary Scott and State Farm for over 20 years. Never once have I heard from the guy outside of junk mail. Recently I needed to make a change on my policy and it was very clear that this office had no interest in helping me. Each person I spoke with (three of them) said they would call me back and never did. Every time I had to call to ask for the same thing I got to explain my needs all over again as they don't appear to keep records or don't care to. I just can't imagine being in a situation where one of us had to file a claim and have to work with people who obviously couldn't care less. You are going to want to find another agent.

I first chose State Farm to insure my 1997 Saturn Sedan back in 2011. I was referred to Gary Scott-State Farm by a family member who essentially set everything up for me (considering I was a naive 19 year old). Anne was my representative, and she was very helpful. She assisted me in perusing the safe driver discounts and bundling options, etc. I never felt as if she was pushing anything unnecessary on me. I stayed with Gary Scott-State Farm until 2013 when I moved out of state. After moving to Alabama, I transferred to a local State Farm Agency (the name I can not remember). This would begin my concerns with State Farm as they seemed to have multiple issues in getting the needed information from Gary Scott-State Farm. I moved back to California in 2015 and contacted Gary Scott-State Farm again as I thought this was the easiest solution. I was not given the option to have Anne represent me again, but was instead given Marjorie. I have not once had a positive experience when dealing with State Farm or Marjorie since moving back in 2015. I continued to stay with Gary Scott-State Farm in hopes that things would get better considering I have been a faithful client (NEVER missing a payment) for nearly 10 years. I was absolutely wrong. After purchasing a van in 2018, I attempted to have the van added to my policy. At first, Marjorie was unable to find the vehicle in their systems (even though it was registered in the state of California and I provided the VIN). I did not have time to waste and ended up going through a broker, which was not ideal. After months of paying by check, through mail to the broker, I decided to give Gary Scott-State Farm another chance. I reached out again after proving it can be insured though another company. *MIRACLE: They were able to find it, but then I am told the van is considered a "commercial vehicle" and would change my policy significantly. I determined this would again prove to be nothing but a headache I requested to speak with a Manager. I believe the "manager's" name was Lisa. After being of no further assistance, she let me know that they still had a previous vehicle under my policy(said vehicle had been solid in 2015) and I was receiving a "multiple line discount" that would need to be removed as I do not have the vehicle anymore. I was then pressured to add my girlfriend to the insurance because she was living with me (even though she would NEVER want to drive the van and her name was in no way affiliated with any of my vehicles). I procrastinated way too long and this is very overdue, but I have switched providers and I am beyond excited about my decision. This is proof that "customer loyalty" is no longer a thing. I am paying approximately $3.00 less with AAA. (I have a membership, 2 vehicles on the policy, renter's insurance, and I added my girlfriend as a driver).

I have known Diane for several years through the Chamber of Commerce. When we moved this year, she really helped us a great deal with all the new insurance issues of a new home and being a landlord for our own rental property. A truly excellent insurance company. Just had a claim on our car and was taken care of so easily. Thank you State Farm!

Diane & Margie are awesome! When I moved to Oxnard they made the transition to a new agents office so easy! I met with Gary to go over my new homeowner's policy in Oxnard and he made sure I had the right coverage for this area. Steve always has a nice and warm greeting when you come in the door. There was no high pressure sales just the right policies for me and my family.

I was a State Farm customer for nearly a decade. My husband and I had 3 vehicles and 2 homes covered with this office. (Diane Meyers is amazing and she is the reason we signed up with this office.) However, I felt like we were paying an arm and a leg in premiums nearly every other month so I asked if there were some discounts or changes that would make the policies more affordable. I was told that I was not enrolled in a savings program "drive safe and save". Why wasn't I informed of this discount in the past????? In the end, I was only able to save about $70 total....not even enough for one week's groceries. Not to mention some comments made from Steve that I felt were rude and condescending. The next week I was bombarded with 10 different statements/bills from State Farm all with different premium amounts due. Each statement contradicted one another and I was so confused that I called the office for clarification. Of course, I spoke with Steve again. He acted indignant and like I was an idiot. He told me that "the reason I got so many new statements was the changes that I had requested." Okay sure.... But as we went over each contradicting premium (3 different ones for the same vehicle), he got confused as well and had to look into it further. When he called me back, he gave me a reasons for the different totals that didn't make sense (i.e confusing the primary driver on the account) He also had trouble locating all our policy's because my husband policy is under his name and not under me. That seems counterintuitive given we are in the same household and share vehicles. When I questioned him he seemed irritated and after I hung up, I felt like my business was being taken for granted. Well, I was right. I called Bo over at AAA (as I am already a roadside assistance member) and they quoted me the exact same policies on Autos (one even with MORE coverage) and without a "loyalty" discount I was STILL SAVING $700 per year just on our auto policies alone. WOW That is what I am talking about. We are saving another $300 on our home owners which makes the total savings $1000 per year for the same coverage or better! Not to mention AAA gives an educator discount which really helps. They also told me I could save even more if I tracked our odometer readings for a month and next year another 10% lower with a loyalty discount. Oh yeah, I found out that State Farm had me over covered on one of my homes (AAA sends an actual home inspector prior to setting coverage limits to ensure you have a right amount) Sorry State Farm but you just lost a great customer due to high prices and rude customer service.

I've had the privilege of being in the Chamber of Commerce with Diane Myers for the last year and a half, and I've been quite impressed with her professionalism. Although I haven't personally utilized her services, I've heard nothing but great things from some of our mutual acquaintances. When consulting with Diane she has been very honest and informative. Diane is a reliable, honest professional who is well respected in her community. I highly endorse her work.

Diane Myers at Gary Scott's agency helped me immensely with all my insurance needs. She talked with me about what I wanted and gave me options that fit my goals. She reviewed all of my current policies and even recommended I keep a couple plans because they fit my needs. One of them was not even with her company. Now that's honesty and integrity. Thanks Diane.
