I live in Santa Barbara and ordered furniture from For Your Home. They were very helpful over the phone and gave me the best price I could find locally or online. They contacted me as soon as it arrived. When I went to pick up the furniture, they made sure to put it carefully into my SUV. It is beautiful quality and looks lovely in our house. Their store is well laid out with many good choices and excellent prices. Plus, they are so nice to work with. They are a family owned store in business for decades. I hope they get the support of the community to buy locally. Highly recomended.

This store is fun to shop in! We were hosted by a very nice and polite young lady by the name of Annette. She was very knowlegable about everything in the store and there is a LOT of very cool and unique items. One of the things I really loved was that they have sale items located all over the store which kind of gives you the feeling you are on a little treasure hunt! Great quality and range delivery was prompt and as promised. I bought a beautiful modern style recliner with a matching ottoman for our living room and a cute set of outdoor furniture for our front porch consisting of a chair, couch and a round black metal wine table. Looking forward to going back for more!

I recently visited For Your Home in Ventura, and I had a fantastic experience! The location on Main Street downtown is perfect, and the store itself is a hidden gem for furniture enthusiasts.
The variety of furniture they offer is impressive – from stylish dressers to comfortable couches, beds, bookshelves, and more. Whatever your home furnishing needs may be, they've got you covered!
What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service. The staff at For Your Home were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly. They made the entire shopping process enjoyable and stress-free. Their genuine willingness to assist and answer questions added a personal touch to the experience.
The ambiance of the store is inviting, and I appreciated the well-organized displays that made it easy to browse through the wide selection of furniture. It's evident that the team at For Your Home takes pride in curating a collection that caters to different tastes and styles.
If you're in Ventura and on the lookout for quality furniture with a side of excellent service, I highly recommend For Your Home. It's a delightful spot on Main Street that exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be returning for any future furniture needs!

Really great store for quality furniture. About 18-19 years ago we bought multiple items for a home office that have stood the test of time and still look fantastic. We have recently purchased a new home and ordered a variety of new pieces for the new home. The quality of the furniture is once again really good and we had a great experience with their team. The Sales person Kris was friendly and helpful. In fact, our furniture was completed early and they offered to hold it for a little while as our remodel was being completed. The deliver crew was excellent at dropping things off and then returning at a different time to do the assembly. Our first pick for any furniture in Ventura.

I was in desperate need of a dining room table, asap and my expectations were pretty low considering it was just before the 4th of July holiday and I needed it delivered to Ojai. For Your Home Furniture TOTALLY came through. I found the perfect table, solid bamboo, for a competitive price (on the 4th of July sale) and they delivered it to Ojai the very next morning. They have a large selection of high quality furniture and their customer service is top notch. Annette was an attentive and knowledgeable resource. I will absolutely be back for more and I recommend the store 100%.

I wouldn't want to have purchased our new bed anywhere else!! They have fantastic furniture and the customer service is phenomenal!!! And that's saying a lot because we are annoyingly picky customers--not wanting particleboard or compressed woods but also on a tight budget. My sales rep Kristine was SO thorough. She actually took the time to call the companies we were looking at getting our bed from, to double check that there was no plywood, particleboard or formaldehyde used in the making of the bed!!! How amazing!!! The delivery people couldn't be more polite or patient either, and we were difficult to schedule with since we are out of town a lot. Whatever furniture you're looking for, start looking here first, you'll see how great their stuff is and their prices honestly are the best around too!!

I like this store. We've been here many times and purchased several home furnitions. We got excellent customer service and information in regards to build time spans and fabrics available. There is much to choose from. There are many unique furniture finds and one of a kind repurposed wood creations.

Walked in (I was with my friend previous customer, he had talked so much about the store and he was finally showing it to me) everything was fine. I was looking for a Media console. Saw one I liked very much and was thinking of coming back to get it in credit to build it up. My friend was looking for a couch, one he had seen last time. I Looked around the whole store to really grasp everything they sell. On my way out I was looking at some Tiffany lamps which I wanted to buy one for my significant other(she loves turtles and they have turtles shaped ones). I was going to buy it that same day. Me and my friend walked back up to the front area (keep in mind no one had cared to help us the whole time we were there) he was still looking at the couches and I was about to make some questions about the lamps as I hadn't decided which one I wanted, keep in mind the desk is across the room so I was going to walk over to not yell as there's other customers in the building. The ladies in the front asked "if we were buying the whole store" nice and loud for everyone to hear. So you want customers to BUY stuff but don't want them to look at inventory? Was it because we're young and Hispanic? They think I can't afford it? Im not making assumptions but They didn't ask anyone else that question and I saw ppl walk around the whole store and they had been there longer than me. Once my friend stated that he was a previous customer everything including their attitudes changed. I really liked the store but they're shitty customer service really killed it for me. It was very passive aggressive like buy something or get out. I'd rather take my money else where , sadly because they have nice furniture but I can't do business with ppl who treat me like that or make assumptions of ppl like that. I was ready to buy but she killed her own sale by talking out her a** instead of helping us from the beginning. Nice selection of Tiffany lamps and their bed frames are beautiful. But shitty service At least from my first walk in. I bit my tongue and let my friend talk because I was about to go off on those ladies... I know it's different but I've dealt with ppl thinking imma steal stuff everywhere I go. But here someone goes assuming I can't afford stuff. Sorry I don't dress snazzy. And I'm a Mexican who looks middle eastern I guess that doesn't help. It would be nice if someone approached me like a human though you know? They really killed my mood.

Where do I begin! This was such a great experience. I had been looking for a particular sofa and tried to order online and was turned down for months. After searching 5 different stores, I took the drive to this huge store and fell in love! I was so tired of seeing boring colors, styles and patterns. After taking a walk through the store, Marla approached us asking if we had any questions. I loved that she wasn't too pushy from the minute we walked in. We told her the style we liked but expressed we desired a different color. She urgently called the manufacture to find out what other colors were being made. It ended up being the perfect Navy "Indigo" blue! The couch is deep, sturdy and easy to wipe clean. We threw pillow covers over the pillows that come with the couch and good to go! I would say price wise it's reasonable, this is not IKEA quality. Spending the money in the long run is worth it. Also if you're looking for something in a timely manner. Thank you Marla for helping us find our perfect couch. Take the trip and see what they have, if they don't have it they'll help you find it!
