Buyer beware buyer beware when you buy online at Macy's. It may be from another low budget company with a very high price tag on it. I purchased two dresses for my mother's funeral when in a size 12 one in a size 14 to make sure that I had a beautiful dress to wear, the quality was poor it was thick heavy material. When I went to Macy's to exchange it, they said I'm sorry but you bought it on our online and it does not belong to Macy's. We will mail it in for you, but it may take 15 days to get your refund, in the meantime, the 29% interest rate is racking up. The dresses look like they came from temu. horrible quality clearly abate and switch from Macy's and this is so disappointing so do not buy online Macy's without reading the fine print. You will be so disappointed.

If you have to return any merchandise from Macys they may give you a gift card for your return balance. The problem is the gift card will expire if not used in timely manner and will have zero balance on your card. The store will not help you and they only will tell you to contact customer via email in which they will never respond to you! So in the end you will only be stuck with a useless gift cards even though state law state that gift cards have no expiration date.

I am sure online shopping has been a challenge for Department Stores but during the holiday season, I would have expected so much more. My wife and I bout a mattress and all new bedding from the Macy's in Ventura CA a few years ago. We spent a good chunk of money and had a great experience. We decided to go back and repeat things for a new mattress and bedding for a new home we are moving into. We arrived to find that no one was working in the mattress or bedding section nor would be for several days. There was a sign saying "go to the register for help". There was one kid working a register with a very long line at 11AM. He tried to radio for someone to help him and the person on the other end was resistant. Eventually, she came and then told us to wait five minutes for someone that should be starting their shift soon. The lady walked away. We waited (I even set my stop watch). No one came and we left.

I had t been to a Macy's in awhile, I think a few months but whoa . It already looks so different! They've really changed the store around. Big surprise was to see a Toy R us inside. Uff my childhood!!! We went in for an online return and received great service!

I have been here few times. Although, I have gone to better, bigger, and more variety items in different Macy's store locations. This location is not too terrible. I have always had a good service here! They have three floors, third one being backstage which I did not realize until recently. I would visit again

The Ventura Macy's is not up to par. I've been to many Macy's and this one I do not like. I can never seem to find the "regular" sized items in abundance. Maybe put out a sign where all the "regular" sized items are instead of them all over the place? I can find petite and full size and even a surf section which I don't want. Put the surf section in a surf store and put more inventory out with Macy's brands like JM and Style & Company. The Karen Scott line should be taken out forever. It is the worst line of clothes. Not one item is ever flattering on me and it just makes you look older. Please put out more JM, Style & Co, Alfani and even Charter club. When I go to this Macy's, I never find anything I like. Then I go up to Backstage and all those items are like I'm shopping at Ross. I think this location needs a complete upgrade. It's not the Macy's I'm used to as I'm new to the area. With all due respect... step it up.

This is a very nice Macy's. It has lots of inventory and it's bright & clean. The staff is pleasant and efficient. Got a wallet and shoes for Husband & new bathing top for me. All were on sale, and 2 out of 3 were eligible for friends and family 30% off discount!

Fabiola at the Finish Line in this Macy's was extremely helpful and found exactly what I was looking for in my size, totally anticipating what I wanted based on other shoes I had pulled!

Careless employees and managers. Don't care about customers.We purchased a lady's coat for a special occasion. when we got home and opened the bag, we discovered that the security tag was attached to the coat.We called the store manager and explained that it's not easy for us to go back to store again, I mean why should we? their mistake, right?why should I spend additional time and gas money for they carelessness?They didn't care!I'll never shop at their store again.

So sad to write this I have been the biggest Macys fan my whole life Been coming here since I was a kid and just continued the tradition as an adult. I hold their platinum card and shop there a few times a week! For our anniversary my husband wanted to get me some nice earrings so we went to Macys of course. The first pair $1400 broke within 2 days- it happens I guess maybe not everyday wears. So I went back and exchanged them for another pair. These were great for 2.5 months then last night they broke out of no where. The backing was still in my ear. I took them back today to see what to do and I had the worst experience. The manager( didn't get her name) short long black hair took forever to try to find my transaction and then tried to argue with me the price I paid for the earrings. At first I started to engage with her about the price even though I know what I paid, then I had to stop myself because what was the point? I didn't want my money back, I love the earrings they were a gift! I just want quality backings on an expensive piece of jewlery! She literally said to me well you didn't purchase the extended warranty ... seriously you don't think as a manager of jewlery that it should last more than 2.5 months WOW ! Sorry Macys no more jewlery purchases from you ! And do you train your managers ? I've never had an issue in over 30 years where I needed to talk to a manager so disappointed in the first time. FYI the perfume ladies and the customer service are always amazing. Sadly disappointed with my favorite spot to shop. It was literally a backing - what would it have taken to get it repaired and keep a loyal shopper

Today my husband walked in to Macy, with three pairs of 501 Levi jeans. He had received as a Christmas gift. The pants were to big & needed to exchange for a smaller size. The associate behind the counter refused to help him. She said she would need a Receipt to be able to do the exchange. My husband explained to her that they were a Christmas gift& he did not have receipt. She made him feel like they were stolen basically Stereotyping him. Because he is hispanic w/ a bold head. We have been platinum holders with Macy for many of years & have never had an issue with exchanging. I'm considering closing my credit card. Very disappointed in their customer service.

Ghetto. This store is like a 3rd world country. I took a female friend from L.A. there because she needed to buy some cosmetics and I was actually embarrassed. I think we were the only people in the store that spoke English. The clientele at WalMart is a step above this place. I believe they were playing Selena in the Mac cosmetic section lol. You can tell the merchandise that this store carries is made to appeal to a certain strata that I'm proud to say I'm not a part of. If the store wants to boost its sales they should start offering Jenny Craig- god knows the female customers are definitely in her target market.

Store is Bare and not much of a selection . Unfortunately I have to order all online. It can take up to 14 days to get your purchases delivered. When you buy some items it's very difficult to wait for arrival, try them on find out that they don't fit then I have to go to return them . I think Macys should extend the return time Especially since we are somewhat forced to shop online due To supply shortages and Covid.
