Returning from a hike near SB, I stopped along PCH to enjoy the view. When I tried to restart my car, it would not turn over. I looked online to find a mechanic close to where I was and found DCC with a 4.9 customer rating, so had my car towed to DCC. Dan is personable and no nonsense; patient and knowledgeable. He/his team quickly diagnosed the issue, called with the estimate, and managed the quick repair. He also provided intel on other items and offered insights. Old school customer service! Would very highly recommend!!!

Dependable Car Care is THE place to go in if you live in Ventura. Doug is straightforward, professional, and he doesn't push unnecessary repairs. Combined with a very reasonable turnaround time, this place will always be the primary spot for my family!

My truck runs really great, my AC is better than factory, the auto trans really helps, needles was 113 when I drove by, there,s nothing better than a good mech shop, thank you , you are Dependable

My old Maggie has seen better days, and I bring her to Dependable Car Care for the care they give her. They are honest about what needs to be addressed, and what they are able to do. They also have decent pricing for their work. With everything going up so much, that is a huge bonus. Doug is always very responsive, and just a nice guy.

Excellent service, knowledgeable and friendly staff, reasonable prices. I have been taking my car to Dependable Car Care for the past couple of years, and all maintenance and repairs were completed on time (e.g., radiator replacement, steering rack and pinion replacements). For each service, Doug provided a thorough description of the repairs needed and a clear breakdown of the costs. If any adjustment was needed, it was done on a timely manner. I definitely recommend them!
