I dropped off a camera over 6 months ago to the photo department. After 2 months and multiple checks, I've had 2 employees tell me not to use the service, as usually items are lost. If items are usually lost, maybe consider not having a photo department ??? never getting those memories. Long story short DO NOT USE CVS PHOTO DEPARTMENT! They are careless and will not refund you for property lost.

Self check out is nice but it’s pointless if you’re not gonna have bags at self checkout forcing us to go track down an associate somewhere in the store just to get us a bag.

Was just in there picking up a prescription. Got a coupon. Went to buy a pack of gum with the coupon. The checker was stocking in front of the checkout and directed me to use the self check out. I asked if they could do it even with the coupon and she said yes. It wouldn’t let me and in the meantime someone else came to check out. Of course she got up off the floor to help them even though there was another self checkout available. I ended up leaving without using my coupon or getting my pack of gum. Guess I should take my prescriptions elsewhere since she couldn’t be bothered helping me.

better staff. went in there for eyelash curler and terrible service. the check out took my money and didn't give me any change and after giving me my 20 bucks back the girl canceled my purchases and asked me to leave like are you kidding me?!!! unbelievable will not be going back there

Terrible. Today their computer systems were repeatedly down and we had to go by 4 TIMES to pick up a prescription. #1. We went by in the morning and found out the computers were down. They seemed like they wanted to hide this fact, because they just had a little sloppily written note pinned to the front window, and of course no one noticed it. Customers were still standing in line. We weren't getting served and the people behind the window could see us standing there, but no one bothered to come out and let us know what was going on. We finally noticed the note and went up and asked the pharmacists if they were closed and were told, rudely, that their systems were down for 45 minutes. So we left and came back. #2: This trip they had to refill the order (a separate issue) and by the time they could do this their computer systems went down again. We had to leave by this point. #3: We went back in another couple hours, to find it all dark. LUNCH! From 1:30 - 2 pm. Be aware! We again had to leave (we have jobs and can't spend all day waiting around at CVS on the off chance their computer systems will be up and they will actually have your order ready). Before heading back for a 4th time we called from home to make sure the prescription was filled. After 20 minutes trying tno get through to someone we were told that it was. So soon we will battle traffic AGAIN to pick it up. Maybe it will be available when I get there, maybe it won't. I will post another review and let you know. #4: Coming soon. #5, 6, 7, 8.... Also probably coming soon.
My advice: get your prescriptions filled somewhere else. Anywhere else. Unless you want to make 4 (at least) trips to get each one.

I've been using this pharmacy for a few years now. It used to be good, on top of prescriptions, etc. Now it's like pulling teeth to get anything done. Nobody listens to you when you state something and continues to just say it's the system. Somehow it magically worked. I'll be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere.

I am from out of state and I am here on vacation and realized I forgot my medication at home. I called to transfer my scrip here before I even got to California and Carolyn was very helpful on the phone. I called them a few hours after I had called the first time. And she told me they had it in stock and that I could pick it up. Very friendly and Such a relief when my doc office wasn’t the kindest. I arrived to pick it up and Courtney helped me so much. It was originally gonna be 165 dollars I had Goodrx code but she looked into it and because it was a vacation supply/emergency she gave me the SEVERELY discounted price. So amazing when I saw the price on screen. It’s nice to interact with humans for a change! Thank you Courtney and Carolyn ?

High Five for Ms. Katherine McDoughnug and her team of pharmacists and technicians.Choosing this particular pharmacy in Ventura as a longtime CVS customer was like a win in the lottery!Their number one priority is the customer. I am a regular with sometimes time sensitive prescriptions and the assistance I have received was always excellent. Everyone in this team is efficient, professional, patient and very friendly..

The most miserable people I've ever met. They never get anything right always rude immediately upon talking to them except for the young pharmacist assistants. How hard is there job after pharmacology school you literally answer phones and fill prescriptions it's pathetic.
