The owner who lives on the property was very rude and disrespectful to me and my girlfriend. He made us put a $100 deposit down and tried to keep it because of a noise complaint apparently by someone else who is living in one of the rooms . There where homeless people digging in the dumpster in the parking lot and doing drugs all night long . Then in the morning the police were there raiding someone's room who had a bunch of stolen guns .! Not a good place to stay let alone even be near .!!

Don't understand the positive reviews. The weekly price was good. Definitely a budget hotel. We were in room 201, above the office. Lots of street noise, starting around 0630, woke me up every day. No, you can't switch to a different room, the manager said. You have a weekly room, as if that explained things. He was very unfriendly.
The heating did not work, so we used the stove to heat the room. Not safe, but there were so many drafts that the carbon monoxide was blown swiftly away. 3/4 inch gap at the bottom of the door let in a cold draft. I stuffed it with a mat I bought at Aldis. Large stains on rug and sofa. The sofa was so uncomfortable that we didn't use it. Full kitchen as advertised, but no cups, plates, cutlery, or pots, just a small frying pan. Weird. The neighbors were quiet at night. A lot of them live there, just a small step from homelessness. The neighborhood is marginal, not too threatening, but not attractive.
We had two full size refrigerators in the unit. Only one was working, the other smelled bad.
I would not stay here again.

Wow! Talk about a great deal! This is an excellent place to stay. Rooms look super modern and are huge, with all the amenities you could want. And very clean and fresh! The bed was so comfortable - not rock-hard, or too squishy soft, but just right! I had a great night's sleep and it was honestly hard to make myself get up so we could check out, haha. Although it's located near a busy road, our room at the back was so quiet, you'd have thought we were in the middle of nowhere. We weren't bothered by any outside noise during our stay. The person who checked us in was super friendly, as well. We'd definitely stay here again!
P.S. You HAVE to check out the Thai place across the street - delicious!

Motels in general get a bad rap. But this place was a good stop. Yeah somethings are a tad outdated but honestly an excellent pick. Great comfortable bed, excellent shower, clean and well put together. You can tell that the people running it have pride.

The room itself was nice. It felt modern enough, but it is not impressive to find stains on your sheets. Also the customer service was not very professional. The parking and room access especially 2nd floor is not convenient. It however was conveniently located near our dock. There is no continental breakfast but Arts Corner Cafe down the street is worth checking out.
Rooms: For the most part felt clean, but stains on bed sheets is not desirable.

It's really hard to leave this two star review because the proprietor was really nice and accommodating. That was about the only good thing about this motel. It's definitely run down, the room we stayed in had a few updated things. But the mattresses are definitely old and broken in. We lifted the sheets to make sure it didn't have any bedbugs and thankfully they didn't. But one of them had a huge yellow brownish stain in the middle of it. I wouldn't stay here again unless they completely remodeled the place.

Nice enough owner but I don't understand 4.5 stars. It's clean but dated. Bathroom fan didn't work. Nice TV with some premium channels. No ice. Nice bedding but the mattress was so soft you kinda sink in. Avoid if you need something firm. Call it 3.5 stars.
