I have been coming to this branch for 4 years now and they are very welcoming! Small bank feel with big bank programs. Very professional and very efficient with how our accounts are handled. Keep up the great work!

Beware this CU will only take your money! They do nothing to help their members with any issues including accidental withdrawals, fraud, etc. It's like they are robots. Their mobile banking system is archaic as hell and updates too slowly as well. It's a really bad bank especially for young people as they aren't updated in other areas either. There are way better CU's out there.

Got an auto loan from Ventura credit union through the entire experience it has been terrible. Payments that where "missing" or misplaced to taking thier time to process the final payment made the payment the 8th of july and they took over 10 days to process it and still not have been given the title, even tho I payed four thousand in cash. Just to have my time wasted and money taken. I would highly advise never going with this sorry excuse of a bank

Theres always long lines and they only have 2 or 3 windows open, and if they see long lines they dont bother to open more windows

Finally was contacted by the underwriter (Michelle) directly and all I can say is it was refreshing to speak to someone who not only offered up options but answers too. Long story short we got our personal loan and were able to consolidate some much higher interest rate cards. Worked directly with Laura Ramirez- Assistant Branch Mgr. on all the loan docs. Much better experience dealing with people that know what they are talking about. Special THANK YOU to "Michelle" for taking the time with me to explain things and come up with a solution.

I've been banking with the credit union for over 20 years. Not sure what happened, perhaps a change in management, but I am very displeased and will be taking my finances elsewhere. I make 40,000+ a year, have great credit, have been employed or self employed for years and have little to no debt. I was recently denied a small personal loan (loan amount requested was $40,000). I am trying to purchase either a mobil home or a small cabin kit to put on our property as a granny flat. What really gets me is that they could have told me they did not cover loans for mobil homes BEFORE they put in the application. Instead they put me through the ringer for two weeks. Today when I called to see what in the world was going on they informed me I had been denied and then lied saying someone called and left a message on my voicemail. Total b******** I did not receive any voicemail telling me of the results. Recently I've had other issues with them and now this was the last straw. I will be removing all of my funds from this lame excuse of a credit union today. UPDATE: Dear VCCU, I will not be contacting you other than to remove my funds from your establishment. You just lost a client.

Try to avoid this people they have what they call security, but is pure b******* ..they ask you a million questions just to make a payment... like if you are trying to get a new loan or something they are going to try to ruin your credit...the app sucks.... there's a lot of hiding fees for example if you download that app you see that every time you make a payment they charge you $7 or $14 every time you make a payment....if you try to make a payment by phone they will charge you $15 in there will waste your time because they're going to ask you a million questions at least 30 minutes just to make a payment in $15 charge... very very stupid system I will never ever use this Bank ever again.. if you try to pay off your loan they will charge you extra money you can call them and ask you'll see.... Stay away from this Ventura credit Union

I'm writing this review on behalf of my father, he refinanced both his new vehicle and another vehicle. The staff was very friendly, especially Nancy Villicana. She took the time to educate and gave the full Spectrum of options available. Would highly recommend her to any friends or family for great customer service.

So I couldn't pay my rent after I had my roommate move out and I didn't know what to do I came in to Ventura county credit Union for a loan but instead I came out with so much more if it wasn't for Ivan Becerra spotting a couple other things I would have never saved money on my car loan. He helped me get a better rate and save me over $50 a month from what I originally would have paid. Who would have thought I came in for one thing and ended up coming out even better than I did before I'm glad I found was able to help me out and notice these details that I hadn't noticed in the past. Everybody was really friendly but this made my day as well as month and months ahead
