“I first came to Second Church of Christ Scientist in Ventura in 2009, when my former church - First Church of Christ Scientist, Oxnard - merged with Second Church. At first, I was not too enthusiastic about going to a new church, and I wanted to leave Second Church. But over the years, the Ventura church has been like a family to me - I don't think you could find a nicer group of people anywhere else.”
