Camp Arnaz, Girl Scout Camp is such a great place for girls to come together, have fun and learn life skills. They have so much for girls to do, including, archery, astonomy center, horseback riding, day camps, and lots more activities to create an atmosphere of camaraderie and friendship. They also do so much for the community, and the environment, with events like the Monarch Butterfly benefit, to name just one. The life skills that girls learn at Camp Arnaz will last a lifetime. I can't say enough about how great this Girl Scout Camp is. Please see it for yourself. It's a place we're girls can just be girls, and have fun. My niece is taking horseback riding lessons, along with the care and maintenance of horses, with Summer Helmuth, the Equine instructor.Summer is such a great instructor, and influence for the girls. My niece absolutely loves Camp Arnaz. I know you will too.

I was the grandmother so I just enjoyed watching all the girls enjoy themselves! I thought it was run with safety in mind and the girls enjoyment. My two granddaughters had a wonderful time and I think all the other girls felt the same.

I own a Bartending business and have had the opportunity to bartend at this location twice. This place is beautiful for any event. Highly recommended.

First time at this camp and it can accommodate most probably about 200 to 300 scouts. The only downfall is the parking. Love the place and clean rest rooms. Lots of trees you can set up your tent in the shades. They got an area where you can play volleyball. Hike up the hill. Huge barbeque pit. Bonfire area.

It's a fun place to visit for Christmas. Really nice Christmas decorations and activities. Santa was the best part for kids but petting the horses was nice too.

My daughter's Girl Scout group from Thousand Oaks visited the camp for archery today. Due to traffic, four of the girls were ten minutes late. Only my daughter and her friend were allowed to participate due to "safety concerns". One of those girls was actually on campus but in the wrong area due to poor signage. She also was not allowed to participate. The coordinator spent 15 minutes pontificating. The girls were crying... What a mess! Most reasonable folks understand the need for safety. We appreciate the care. However, there was clearly a traffic incident on the freeway which delayed the families from getting to their destination on time. There were no other groups booked after this troop so, time was not an issue. You didn't allow the girls to participate because you wanted to make a point; not for safety. The Girl Scout motto that has been used since 1912: "Due a good turn daily." The slogan is a reminder of the many ways girls can contribute positively to the lives of others. Your example today was an epic failure.
