Today, I took my dog Benson, to Cameo's for the first time. The owners were very friendly, welcoming & they did a beautifull job with his grooming. Benson loves to be around other pups & enjoyed meeting new puppy friends! I definitely recommend this salon!!

I don't normally leave bad reviews however I am doing this in hopes that this never happens to another dog. My husband took our aussie in to be groomed and said he just needed the knots brushed out around his butt. When he went to pick up our dog he was completely shaved! You CAN NOT shave aussies or their hair won't grow back the same. Also...who shaves someone's dog without their permission?I have taken him in to my normal groomer for the last year hoping it would grow back okay but it has not. Please educate the staff on what breeds you can't shave or it ruins their fur forever.

We wish they were located in Phoenix. (We were on vacation)We were SUPER impressed by the grooming and the whole vibe. Our two dogs seemed so calm compared to all others we’ve used over 40 years. It’s like a pet playground with professional, personable owners that do a great job. High marks on all.

This place is great!!! My dogs is little and loves interacting w the other dogs and they do a great job on his haircut!!! Hands down best place in Ventura county!

Great work, very nice people, and the dogs don't sit in crates all day but have doggy day care while they wait. Best grooming job I've had in the area.

Tom and Carrie have groomed Bentley since I moved here to Ventura 10 years ago. He always loves to see them and comes home very handsome. He is 18 years old and we really appreciate their extra care in this time of his life. He's a small dog so we are glad there are no Pits to worry about.

Highly recommend.!! Thomas and Carrie Richardson are kind and friendly and do a wonderful job with my long-hair girl. Wendy loves her new cut. I like to make ponytails and I love to see her in bows.. She looks perfect, just what I wanted..! Thanks so much.

Cameo is a really a cool concept, a combo doggie day care and grooming-no cages and the dogs get to run free in a designated area with other dogs and our pup was very happy! Also the owners Tom and Carrie are very nice... And great location in the heart of Ventura! Easy to find and park! After we got home we could tell our pup's cut was very uneven in many spots. One side of his face was clipped crooked. His ears did not match either. They're very uneven. His paws were uneven too-the fur on his right front & back paws were longer than the left side. There were other spots on his body that seemed "choppy" as well. I'm sure they would've fixed it had we noticed it before leaving... I would definitely bring our dog here again. I felt super comfortable with the environment. I will try the grooming again as well. Already have our appointment set. I wanted to add that after posting this review, the next day Tom, the owner reached out...he wanted to reassure me that they're glad to fix anything with our pups cut, they would've right then but we hadn't noticed until we got home. He was being a concerned business owner and clearly wants his customers to be happy. My reason for the edit :o)

I requested an appointment for grooming for my two dogs and included all info, including pictures of my pups. All I got back was "we will not groom pits." Extremely unprofessional. Almost all pet professionals I have patronized in all the years of being a dog owner know that breed discrimination is arbitrary and therefore don't engage in it. Would not recommend to any actual pet lover.

This place is fantastic. We took our 6 month old black labradoodle there for his first ever hair. I was obviously terrified because it is super easy to mess up their hair cuts! Not this place! They crushed it! He looks so good! Will be using them from now on!
