A phenomenal experience getting my glasses! The costumer service is top tier on all levels! From the greeting as I walked in, to the young lady who gave the tests, to the eye doctor who was laid back, to the assistance w choosing the perfect pair of glasses! The young man who I believe was the manager, was resourceful and keeps a professional environment that was helpful and made my experience quite pleasant. I recommend America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses in Ventura ??

I loved my eye exam! The tech, Linda, did a phenomenal job. She made my exam super comfortable and was helpful during my exam. Genevieve also helped me with picking out and deciding on frames that fit my face perfectly! I appreciate the staff here at the Ventura office for making this experience a pleasant one. I recommend this location, and will be an ongoing customer!

Beware of the Main st location. The store manager Trenton is a vicious thieving terd of a man. We have been going round & round w this terd for months ! He refused to provide my personal glasses as well the glasses and lenses we paid nearly $300 on top of the fees for. When we asked for his supervisor he said he hired himself, asked for corporates # he refused. I finally got a great employee who provided the # I needed and am receiving my refund as I type. I have never had anything but amazing service from this americas best actually all of them until Trenton!December 20, 2023 we are still trying to get our refund. Someone called saying we had to bring the original card in so they can swipe it to give us a refund. When advised we no longer have that card there was a short silence and she repeated her instructions to bring the card in to be swiped for the refund, quickly said thank you and hung up. Nothing more has happened, no response to calls, we are out $472 plus my personal frames!

This was my first time getting glasses here. Just ordered today and the employees couldn't have been any better. I have tried other companies and this is by far the best!! I will definitely be a return customer. Special thanks to Andrea!!

Fantastic service! ?Margarita and Linda were wonderfully helpful, and Trenton's your guy if you need a quick frame fix. And of course "Phoropter Man" himself Dr. Alena was quick and efficient with my eye exam. Thanks everyone! Truly America's best!

Well I give Dr Alina 5 stars but there has been a turn over in staff which there customer service was not the greatest when it was time to get glasses! I have been there many times my husband also we have always purchased our glasses with them but not this time! The person they gave me at the end did not seem to know much at all barely communicated with me and when I asked a question she definitely didn't know answers quickly and was very unhelpful and I just paid for my prescription and went to eyeglass factory and got much much better service!! But overall they usually have good service but not the day I went!! Mostly there staff are pretty good unfortunately they lost a customer!!

I've waited quite sometime before writing this because the staff is not to blame for the lack of training. I'm a firm believer in "you only know what you know". I picked out my glasses and was so excited when it was time to pick them up. Although I have insurance I found out "after the fact" they were out of network. Nevertheless, I paid for all the bells and whistles and am I firm believer you get what you pay for. I've been wearing glasses for 15+ years . Every time I have picked up my glasses, I was greeted, sat down and properly fitted for any final touches, not to mention I was always given a case.I arrived, stood and waited and finally approached the associate and said I was picking up. She walked to the end of the counter grabbed my glasses and handed them to me wrapped up in a rubberband. Lord I should've have known then. Not only were they poorly fitted. They were thicker than frozen peanut butter. They should've known that my prescription wasn't a good fit for wire frames. to add insult to injury...I wear these daily, I workout in them and occasionally I sweat, not only have my nose pads turned green..one of them has broken off and I have a small indent on my face that has just become the new norm. I called and asked if they could be repaired only to be told they aren't responsible for damage. A company with a name of Americas Best should really try at the VERY least to be "Americas Mid". Fast forward to today I found a new place to do business and love my new frames. BLUF- if for some reason this is your only place to do business...do your own research finding out what frames will work best for your RX...because unfortunately you will have receive MINIMAL guidance, advice, fitting nor case from employees.

I had a horrible experience with Linda. I had an eye exam, and I am a very loyal customer of many years. I just had a baby 1 year ago and my eyes have changed drastically with the hormones. I have had to try several contact trials which wasn’t my decision. Today I went in, my left contact was torn and was asking if I can get another one since it was my last set. She immediately was snobby and told me all the reasons why I couldn’t get the contact. I asked her to still do the eye exam, she grabbed my glasses, said “are we doing this? Because I have others waiting.” I asked her to give me back my glasses since I couldn’t see. She got up, refused my service, said she was going to call the cops! I asked her to shut the door for privacy since I asked for the assistant manager. She said no and held the door. She said “GET OUT! IM NOT DOING SERVICES FOR YOU.” I’m still very confused. I got no eye exam, she was yelling at me, everyone heard. I called HR about her behavior. This wasn’t the first time. Horrible service by Linda!
