Corporate nice with no real charm; too expensive for something in renovation; no complementary water; complementary Bfast at 7 (kinda late for Corporate style); workers are, of course, better (in servicing) than the facility

I had the opportunity to passing through the Ventura, a beautiful city in the California coastal JUN_FY2024 and it was an amazing experience, a great opportunity to learn more about the USA and California's history and legacy.
The Amanzi hotel was in a external reforbishment, besides that, the hotel presented an excellent structure and costumer service.
Gabriel, the clerk, was kind and helpful.
I did a plant tour around and for sure it's a excellent location.
Definitely, if I've the opportunity I'll beback. .
Rooms: Excelent structure, very clean.

The Amanzi Hotel is Located in Ventura CA , & In My Opinion, For Location and Quality of Overall Experience Offered is A+ Because the
Hotel Had a Totally New Upgrade With Brand New Bathroom Fixtures along with Bedding and
Furniture ? The Amanzi has A Nice Swimming Pool and the Beach is Only a little more than a Block away ?
They have a Breakfast Special Every day from
From (6am - 11am) And There is Both Underground Parking & (2 Separate Parking lots) Outside Which Are All Monitored by (24
Hour Surveillance Camera's which is Nice for
Safety reasons ?
The Only Down Side that I can Think of is that the Amanzi Hotel Doesn't have a "Cocktail Bar"
For In House Socializing with Friends & Family ?
But For the Overall Experience and Price for
Service, Lodging & Location where You have
Access To the Freeway Traveling North or South In Less than ( 1/2 mile ) from the Hotel's
Location ?
The Ventura County Fair Grounds are Only a
Mile away , and Downtown Shopping and
Vons Supermarket , Riteaid , Burger King
& Subway Along with Multiple Gas Stations are
All Within Walking Distance !

A month after the previous review, still under construction. No one gave us a heads-up when we booked it. They told us we have a balcony! Too bad the windows are covered in plastic so you can’t see out.
Weird thing is, the last time we stayed here was during COVID, AND THEY WERE UNDER CONSTRUCTION THEN, TOO! Third time may be a charm, but I won’t be finding out.

I hate leaving reviews like this, but I need to warn others who book online!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I have stayed at hundreds of hotels in my life, but this I believe was by far the worst. First off THE ENTIRE PLACE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION! Construction workers everywhere! It is 7 am. I believe my son and I are only non-construction workers staying here. I got no sleep at all due to bright lights that they leave on all night!!leaving my already openly viewed see thru-curtain-room (see picture). Back to it being 7 am. Construction workers are outside my room now banging on the walls. Staring in our room at me and my young child. You would think they paid us to stay here! Nope it was actually quite expensive. Only nice thing is the beach is close. Not close enough though, and not very safe. Had to walk past a few different individuals smoking pot. On the way back I saw the construction worker’s doing drugs through ya know those see-through-curtains again. The entire place smells moldy. It just has been a very uncomfortable experience. Shame on them for even advertising online with the conditions like this!!! I do not see anywhere in description on the website I booked talking about the entire place under construction whatsoever. Update: I get the owner still needs to make a living and by doing that best option is keeping hotel open. Perhaps though cut the price in half - my goodness.

Bit lackluster check-in, and very close to Freeway and train traffic and noisy if your room points that direction. Other than that very clean, and large rooms!

Rooms: Huge rooms; clean & efficient. Great bathroom with an extra sink area.
Walkability: Pretty close to restaurants etc.

Everything was awesome. The traffic noise is loud due to the nearby freeway. Would have loved a bathtub option.
