“I have lived next to Queens for two years and go every single day. Sometimes even twice. The workers are extremely kind, and attentive to their regulars. Once they even made Queens market t shirts and they sold out almost immediately I will miss this place greatly when I move.”

“Aldi‘s is my favorite anywhere I go I checked first to see if there’s an Aldi so I can pick up my regular items every week. You can’t go wrong with all these first and then go to your other grocery store to add in the things that they didn’t have, great value!”

“Victor helped me at the smoothie station- he was SO insightful, PATIENT (there were some demanding customers), & so pleasant. He is very efficient at his job—- & made the modifications I requested happen. This location can be a bit chaotic, but he’s a breath of fresh air when you get to the counter!”

“I love Lazy Acres. I have lived in Manhattan Beach for over 23 years. I actually live walking distance from Lazy Acres on Artesia just a few homes down from Miracosta high school. The property Lazy Acres is on used to be the auditorium and indoor skate park where my sons attended because they are members of the church, Hope Chapel. The staff at Lazy Acres are wonderful. Robert, Danny and Pedro, along with the store associates are all really nice except for this one person named Tiffany! I went into Shop one day, and as I am bagging my own groceries, my choice, because I feel it's best to help out when you have some groceries and I did have a lot, she gets upset because I used two of the premade double bags she had prepared and put in with the other bags. She had the nerve to say to me, "You keep taking my bags!". I tried to ignore her, but she said it again And the fact that I'm bagging my own groceries...It doesn't matter if I'm doubling the bags myself or if she's bagging the groceries. I'm sure she would use the double bags or if there was a bagger available they would use the double bags. She went on and continued to argue with me how she didn't want anyone using the bags that she took the time to double. First of all, she's on the clock and the time she spends checking, doubling a bag, bagging the groceries or not, it's going to be the same for her, and I found it very rude for her to talk to me the way she did . I did contact the manager and I hope that she was spoken to about this situation. If that had been my first time in that store, and that happened to me, I would never return, because I can't believe someone could be so rude to a customer who is bagging their own groceries. I know you all are wondering why I would give the store a five star review. I did so because the store is wonderful and the staff is wonderful but it's just that one bad Apple that stood out and I wanted to bring the situation to the table and let others know.”

“JONS International Market was the ONLY local source that I was able to identify for a particular imported delicacy I was looking for (looking all over the LA basin for). The staff was friendly and VERY helpful...and the had the "no sugar added" baklava that I was looking for.It remains my only direct source fo "no sugar added" baklava. The staff, by the by, remains friendly and VERY helpful.”

“The staff here is very helpful and exceptionally friendly. The prices are good and they have a good selection of products. Obviously, as expected, the store has niche Brazillian and Latin American products that can be hard to find. The only downside I would mention is that they don't accept Calfresh/EBT”

“I went to buy injera and grounded meat. The store owner welcomed me with beautiful smile and a great customer service. The time she went inside ( another room) to prepare the meat which I requested to be grind. I started looking around all over the store. Every single item placed well in organized. If you actually want to buy something with out asking:- where can I ...? Question , you will find it easily. It's very neat. No dust at all. I recommend the owner to keep this great job for future. If you are looking Ethiopian food, clothes, herbs, ANYTHING! I won't have enough space to mention all. You should go to Geni mini market. Everyone is welcome and you will leave the store with smile after getting quality customer service.”

“This small humble store sells great tasting injera, a staple (ethiopian style pancake made from teff, which is used to scoop up food) for eating Ethiopian dishes. There are other places that sell injera, but the dfferent types of injera available at this store is the one my family prefers. Not only is it tasty, but it seems to stay fresher longer. It may be a bit more expensive than other places, but it's worth the extra cost. It's also a good place to buy other items related to things Ethiopian, especially spices. One thing you should know is customers are served behind the door that is half open on the top. The sweet and kind elderly woman who works there is so helpful and polite. She fetches what you want from inside the store for you.”

“The store itself is well organized and clean. My gripe is that there is now very aggressive parking lot security that is comfortable harassing you as you park your car. I’ll probably drive to the downtown location more where no one is belligerently asking me why I’m walking my girlfriend toward Sidecar donuts. Despite explaining multiple times that I was going into the store they just kept telling us we would be towed.”

“Visiting this store has already saved me on many occasions. I'd like to compliment the store employees because they are all quick and dependable in assisting you in getting what you want! If you buy too much to carry on, they even give free delivery! Excellent customer support!”

“It's a Mexican market so It's a grest place to find everything I need to make a Mexican meal. My favorite is the carne asada at the butcher's counter The Mexican brand of yogurt named "Lala" is much better than any other yogurt brand , in my opinion so I definitely visit this market specifically for their mango yogurt & carne asada”

“I just have to say that Ashle who was working the money services counter MADE MY DAY. I was having one heck of a time getting a money order for a move. I went to 4 different places the day before and machines were down or people were rude and giving me incorrect information. Ashle was first of all working on a holiday and her personality was just the thing I needed after the day before. She’s an angel. Regarding the market, it really is one of the bigger ones and I do enjoy shopping here. Haha”

“Out of the three Persian markets located in the area, I usually visit this store. However, I find the quality of the deli foods here to be below average. The lady responsible for cooking doesn't do a great job, and I've never really enjoyed her Persian dishes. Despite this, I must say that the employees' attitudes are better than those of the other markets in the area and significantly better than the Jordan market located across the street.”

“Whole Foods Market offers a delightful shopping experience for anyone prioritizing organic and natural foods. The store's layout is spacious and well-organized, making it easy to find a variety of high-quality produce, vegan and gluten-free options. The staff is notably friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help or offer recommendations. Although prices can be a bit higher compared to other grocery stores, the quality of the products justifies the cost. The prepared food section is a highlight, featuring a range of tasty, healthy options for quick meals. Overall, Whole Foods is a great destination for those who are health-conscious and willing to invest in top-notch groceries.”
