Overall ok stay. Well located. Pictures look nicer than reality. Bed was comfy, bathroom had no fan but avers product. The young man was very awkward with unpleasant reactions when welcoming us, but the lady was nice and polite. He « upgraded » us because the room type I booked apparently did not exist on Agoda (to note: they control the information on this website), and the guy asked me to promise to never book there again to upgrade me…! lol. Would recommend for short stay

Good: centrally located on Venice Beach, large apartment, balcony with seating and beautiful plants, nice staff, good restaurants in the area, Santa Monica etc. within walking distance.
Bad: centrally located on Venice Beach and opposite a facility for former junkies and therefore incredibly loud: banging, banging, music all day long, including from the beach by all the wannabe musicians, morning prayers that the whole street can hear, shouting, loud cooling/air conditioning systems (restaurant under the facility), odor nuisance caused by roasted food for the restaurant, completely worn out furnishings, minimal equipment, completely undecorated apartment and far too expensive for that ($2000 for 6 days!), see pictures, no parking at the hotel (you have to go in Venice in order to be able to park for free), no ventilation in the bathroom and therefore visible moisture damage, windows leaky and dirty, walls dirty and, above all, noisy. You really only pay for the location, otherwise you will be mercilessly disappointed. For 200 euros less you can get a top-equipped, luxurious, even larger holiday apartment on Miami Beach, for example. The standards in L.A. are really bad. We'll never go there again, I'm still sad about my money.
Rooms: Dull and not furnished to a high standard, everything is very worn out and cheap. Windows and doors are leaky or poorly installed and therefore loud. At least sufficiently large rooms.
Nearby activities: You can walk to Santa Monica, there are numerous good restaurants, and the beach is around the corner
Safety: Lots of strange people, but at least the hotel is either permanently occupied or you can only get in with a door code
Walkability: You have to travel a few kilometers because you can't park nearby, for example. Typically American, footpaths are below average.
Noteworthy details: It is centrally located on Venice Beach and therefore unfortunately incredibly loud. We were shocked. Above all, the poor furnishings and equipment, which did not correspond to the price segment at all. The images advertised are definitely out of date, check out my own. We also had a different apartment than we had booked based on the pictures.

Our stay this past weekend at Su Casa Venice Beach was absolutely top notch and we could not have asked for a better experience!
The staff -- in particular Oscar -- was wonderful and very helpful and the queen suite with an ocean view was, quite simply, epic!
The room itself was beautiful -- clean and comfortable and superb in all ways. And those beach and ocean views -- WOW! It was so fun to be able to watch the hustle bustle below on the boardwalk and beach from the privacy of this lovely suite!
One of the most special things about this room in particular was that it was SO QUIET at night! We slept like babies, even with a window open in a busy beach area in one of the largest cities in the world.
On top of all of that amazingness, the location was absolutely perfect.
We cannot wait to go back and stay there again!
Thank you, Su Casa!

Buyer Beware! Don't count on your reservation to be available when you arrive here. We spent all afternnoon fighting Venice Beach traffic to find that our reservation was either non-existent, or they had simply just ignored it, and instead, rented the bungalow that we had reserved 4 months in advance, to someone else. We then had to find a hotel in Culver City -- not the beach location that we had hoped for.

Staff were amazing, room was beautiful, only “complaint” is it’s a bit tricky to find. Will definitely return.
Walkability: Located right on Venice Beach a short walk to Santa Monica Pier.

we stayed for a few nights in the apartment, unfortunately it was not possible to open the windows, favorable value for money, the ocean view is fantastic

This hotel was a great choice for 24 hours at Venice Beach. The family who ran it were so helpful and friendly. The location can't be beat: right in the middle of Venice Beach. Thanks for upgrading us to the larger room...it was incredible. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was big and powerful....all in all a perfect choice.
Nearby activities: Food, entertainment, beach, shopping
Walkability: Everything and anything within foot walking distance.

It was a very enjoyable time.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room had a kitchen so you could cook your own food, which was convenient.
It was a room with a sea view, so I was able to enjoy the wonderful beach at any time.
However, it would be nice to improve the softness of the bed mattress.
