Pedal electric makes a faulty and the worst product on the market and they don’t stand by their bikes. The bikes controller, harness as well as battery went bad just after a year and the bike was unusable. The repair charge is 1400. Pedal electric warranty lasts a year so know this before you purchase. Before the bike totally fell apart the acceleration of the bike got stuck and wouldn’t turn off almost killing me. If anyone is organizing a class action law suit against Pedal I would like to join please contact me. Don’t buy from this company, reviews speak for themselves. Bad product company and customer service. Rip off.

The frame is pretty much perfect. The rest of the components are poor quality and the chief engineer doesn’t understand the difference between sag, compression and rebound. Also, customer service is non existent. Cannot purchase a spare battery. Front shocks are dangerous for so much power with the 2WD. But it’s the best package if you want to do some upgrades. Still searching for goodish forks though.

I purchased my Pedal bike 2 years ago and it's crazy the amount of time and money I save since then. Living in a big city like Los Angeles it's way easier to commute and I'm never stuck in traffic. The shop is great everyone assists me whenever I need repairs too, always professionally done.

I recently purchased the AWD S model. I love it. Fast and sturdy. Although I do have issues with the front hub not engaging, customer service is on the case. Axle has been assisting me with this issue and is extremely helpful and professional. Awesome employee. I will update as soon as the warranty process is complete.

I live in Columbia, Missouri which is a college town that benefits from having lots of bike trails. My purchase of the Pedal Electric AWD S is the best investment I've made since buying my home. Having that kind of flexibility, being able to take my son to school and pick him up daily with the bike, having capability for slower pedaling on trails and 35 mph to safely navigate alongside cars, is the life cheat code that I didn't know I needed so badly. This bike really has changed my life in that it's been such a positive means to get out into the world, be around people, explore my community, and overall improve my mood.

Don't buy a bike here.
The conditions under which I first purchased an electric bicycle were different from those when I sold the bike.
We decided to either take the bike to Korea or sell it in the US.
Regarding resale, they responded irresponsibly, not knowing when it would be sold.
So, we planned to deliver the electric bike batteries by ship and take the bikes as luggage on the plane.
In order to take it to Korea, the Korean delivery company asked for pedal shop battery MSDS information, but they said they could not provide it due to company policy.
Then, when you asked them to ship it to Korea, they said they couldn't ship it to you.
So, we asked the pedal shop to resell the bike, but it wasn't immediately resold and we didn't know when it would be sold, so we bought the bike.
I brought it back.
The employee who responded to us was Mike, and we contacted the after-sales service department after purchase, but we were unable to get in touch with them.
I will never buy a bike from this place because it is different from the first time. The mental pain cannot be expressed in words.
We will widely publicize this information in the Korean community and on Facebook in the United States.

PSA: Just letting everyone know from my experience. This company does a fantastic job of postering and marketing. Their product, customer service, and lack of backing of their product should be of great concern to any and all potential customers.
Ordered the Core model as I was sold on the companies ideas and product. I’m new to the world of e-bikes and was genuinely excited to get this new tool to use in a commuter fashion. There are no real assembly instructions btw. Just a series of poorly done how to videos on YouTube that put you in a position to just wing it on the build and you’ll most likely find that the build videos don’t align with the product that you are shipped.
What I got was a $2k dollar+ bike that worked for one day. The power adapter housing connection point, where the battery lock is located is made of incredibly fragile plastic and cheap tiny screws that could be missing upon arrival, fyi. The tiny screws that connect the power from the battery to the housing of the power cable do not appear to hold either. Which I discovered when I attempted to connect the battery to go for literally my second ride on the bike. Reached out to their customer support and they have allegedly triggered the warranty process. Which is so gracious that they will take at least two weeks to send you replacement parts with little to no communication about the process btw, they only can afford to ship things on Fridays, if they care to remember to do so, and then they were so kind to let me know that they would cover a bike mechanic up to like $150 dollars service, in a reimbursement type fashion btw, problem is I now have to come up with that money initially on my own accord and then walk the broken $2k+ bike at a minimum 4 miles to a Bike mechanic. They don’t care that I just bought their product to try and make my life easier now I gotta figure out a way to take time off from work to go get this broken cheaply made item to maybe work.
All things considered, the bike was fun that one day but it’s definitely not worth the price to ride it for $2k+ dollars I’m sure Walmart has a better Ebike on a rack closer to you. You’ll need to do a lot of digging but go ahead and look at their return policy. Any company that pretty much refuses to take back their own poorly designed bike without charging me more fees will forever be a massive red flag moving forward.
Long story short, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for the price point. I’m sure Oynx will give you a better product based on the people I’ve spoken to on the street down in Austin. Unless you just feel like donating your hard earned money to a company that doesn’t care.
I’ll probably try and figure out how to do my first YouTube related video review of this bike soon. Should be an easy one to record since the bike is inoperable from its intended use. Photos added to reflect the area of concern and the bike just standing in my apartment like it has for almost two weeks now.
Oh and they shipped the front head light assembly with it missing the appropriate bracket to connect to the bike. That’s why it’s not on the bike in the photo. Still waiting on parts from Pedal Electric.
Please exercise caution when ordering from this company. User experience in store may be different from being an online order, like mine, but something tells me it’s not. I hope I help some people stave off some headaches and bad days as a result of this review even only for a few people.
Again this has just been my experience, seems like the people Pedal pays to review their bikes on YouTube have had a great experience in comparison.
Best of luck to all of you that read this and still purchase a product from them. Additionally, you can also do a google search for the Popcopy Skit from the Chappelle Show to get an understanding of what this company feels like if you happen to make the mistake of purchasing from them. This bike is awesome! I got the AWD [S] and have been riding it around for the past few weeks and have enjoyed every second of it. I use it for errands, small grocery runs, and just for fun. I also love the fact that it’s built for two people so my wife and I can ride it together. All around a very solid bike and a huge blast to ride past everyone else stuck in traffic.

I got my AWD rig a couple weeks ago and have had such a fun time on it that I wanted to write a post here praising not only the bike, but the boys in the shop too.
The bike itself is so fun to ride. I use it as a general get around bike to check the surf, get the groceries and just to burn around the beach on too. I just started ripping it on the beach now to see how the nobby tires go on the soft sand and to check the sand bars out up down the beach and it surprisingly handled well. I wasn’t sure if it needed hard sand or not, but it goes hard on the soft sand with no issues at all. So overall, I’m syked on the ride.
The boys at the shop have been super helpful too. I’m not super tech or mechanically minded, so I’ve been back to the shop a few times to ask a bunch of annoying questions and everyone’s been epic, no one’s made me feel like an idiot and now I know a thing or two about how these machines work.
I’m new to the e-bike scene and I have no experience on motor bikes and I cycle a lot. So far I’m loving my time on the bike and am stoked everytime I get to rip this thing out of my driveway. Only thing I’ve had to get used to is putting more clothes on when I go out because I basically don’t pedal this thing and so I’m not generating my own body heat. It’s easy to use, rides smooth and I’m stoked I made the choice to go with pedal.

I recently made my first call to Pedal because my bike battery casing broke when I tried to remove it from the bike. The customer service associate was exceedingly rude, immediately told me I had damaged the bike battery and would need to pay to replace it. I had tried several times to explain that the battery case had always hung up on the slide rail, and it was exceedingly hard for me to remove. There is some issue with the battery rail which prevents it from sliding easily and it has been very difficult to remove. This was only my 4th time removing it to charge it because it doesn't get much use, and it gave out. I also explained that my friend's Pedal, the same model doesn't have this issue. Her battery slides right out. I even offered to take it to one of their service centers to demonstrate the issue. They refused.
Their warranty clearly states that battery defects are covered for up to 1 year, which falls within my ownership period. These folks do not stand behind their warranty, and their customer service people are woefully rude and unhelpful. Buyers beware.
