A nice little bookstore and crystal shop. They have a great selection of spiritual books on a variety of topics from Buddhism to witchcraft, and a variety of candles, incense, etc. They also sell a variety of (mostly smaller) crystals (they have bigger stuff next door at the Mystic Journey Crystal shop).
Great variety of tarot cards here too. They have a display version of either most or all of the decks they sell so you can look through them. It's really nice to see the layout and feel the cards before you buy them.
They offer readings here too and have a variety of practitioners to choose from. There's also a cute courtyard where you can sit and they have events out there.

I picked up a beautiful amethyst with a unique flower formation for my cousin’s bat mitzvah + a few philosophy books. A fellow shopper helped me pick out some beginner witchcraft books for some tween cousins. We all have to do our part…

I recently bought a clear quartz crystal from Mystic Journey Bookstore and was extremely pleased with my purchase. The crystal was absolutely gorgeous! The fact that I was purchasing the exact crystal that was pictured on their website left little room for surprises and did not disappoint. Shipping time was decent, and the crystal was packaged very well. I also thought the price was very reasonable for the quality of merchandise I received. Highly recommend!

Truly a wonderful spot with great vibes. It caught my eye from the street as a car pulled out to free up a parking spot directly in front of it. I took the sign and enjoyed every moment of browsing and chatting with the friendly staff. I brought a few treasures home to the east coast and will definitely return on my next trip out west!

Due to location in Santa Monica, CA., I understand pricing gets higher here from 'Mystic Journey Bookstore,' Santa Monica, CA., However the two staff I met the night I showed up gave me a great first impression. It's just not a must visit for now also due to location is a bit far from WeHo. I still love me weekly trips to WeHo, CA. I bought a Manifestation mini booklet and some uplifting cards from here after a reading service. If I'm in the area again, I'll swing by to browse the bookstore because it turned out a fun place to shop. I just need to bring more quarters for parking. Some times I get lucky with street parking, but some times I don't. Lol....I got the hang of parking everywhere in Los Angeles, CA., now though.

I wish I had read the reviews before booking a tarot card reading by one of their "expert" readers. It was a total waste of money, and the reader was just making up stories as she was reading the cards. I had a better reading with a $20.00 reader on 3rd street. I am really angry that I wasted $100.00 on someone who is not a clairvoyant and not a true tarot card reader. This store is a big rip off!!!!!

I live in Santa Monica and I was super excited to know I had a crystal shop so close. I have purchased from them many times and the customer service was great. I went yesterday and purchased some tumble stones, bracelets and sage. One of the tumble stones was "jade". Now everyone knows that Jade is cold to the touch. This is how you can tell if it is truly Jade or not. Now I know Jade to be a bit pricey so I was elated to find a tumble stone of jade that was only 2.95. I didn't think about it at the time. I got home and compared my Jade to my Malachite stone. The jade wasn't cold to the touch and looked identical to my malachite (which I bought there as well). I called today and I told her what I stated above. She proceeded to tell me how the owner goes to Brazil to get the gems and they are real but you can come in and exchange or receive a refund. Then she proceeded to tell me Malachite is expensive and they don't sell small pieces of Malachite. Now please understand I purchased my Malachite tumble stone from them, which means someone is lying. This made me question if all my stones are truly real. I spend too much money there for the crystals to not be real. A picture is attached. Jade on the right and Malachite on the left. Tell me what you think.
