It seems like the shop has taken past feedback to heart, as my experience was nothing short of excellent. The staff was friendly, approachable, and incredibly knowledgeable about their high-quality surfboards. It was a refreshing change from the previous complaints about them being distant. I highly recommend checking them out!

Kid who worked there just about wanted to fight me for wanting to return the first wetsuit I’ve ever purchased in my life lol. Even the adult couple next to me were visibly in awe at how unhinged the boy’s demeaning tantrum was. Just inform people of your policy prior to purchasing, make a sign… I don’t know, but no need to treat people like literal trash.

Some cool clothing and the boards are rad. Be aware they don’t allow you to return anything for refunds. I had to argue the case just to get store credit. The major issue is the deeply unpleasant staff that work there: unhelpful, uninviting and dismissive. Seems like a common theme amongst these reviews, yet the boss doesn’t seem to mind. I struggle to fathom how this ‘too cool for school’ attitude flies in 2023 where kindness and inclusion are the true north for consumer facing brands. Mollusk: do better. Your brand depends on it.

Really awesome shop! I always loved the shorts but decided to shop for a step down board from my 9’6” noserider. Bo and the other guys know their stuff and pretty much walked me to the exact board I didn’t know I needed. Its my first Simon Shape and super stoked. Was a longtime Horizon/ZJ guy until they closed and this place def checks the box of being a solid Venice surf shop..

Really bad customer service with very arrogant attitude. Brand like this can never grow big and won’t last long. it will gradually lose its customers. BAD!

Very classy store for surf boards and apparel! The outside lists a bunch of food the store has, so I originally thought it was a cafe and skipped going into it. It wasn’t until I realized it was in fact a store. Right in front of the Venice sign as well.
