I can’t say enough great things about Mike Melika; he’s an artist of a mechanic! For ten years Mike took care of my VW Eurovan honestly and conscientiously. The first time I met him he used a stethoscope to find and resolve an engine noise that had been a mystery to everyone else. Based on my experience I would highly recommend him, particularly to folks who drive older German vehicles!

20/10 would recommend. I'm a young woman in a mini Cooper who knows nothing about cars, I am the perfect target to be scammed. But Mike was amazing!! He explained everything in detail, and since I already knew what needed to be fixed, I knew he was being honest.Not only did he fix what I needed for a reasonable price, he took the time to check the rest of the car and gave it back to me in tip top shape. It's such a relief to know i got my car fixed the right way. He really went the extra mile. Some friends referred me to Mike and I would definitely recommend him further!Also he's got great turn around, fixed it in an afternoon.

You won't find anyone better to take your German cars to in all of LA. I was having issues with my battery that I changed myself. My car wouldn't start, so I called a bunch of auto shops close to me for advice and quotes on evaluations. (So many places didn't give me the time of day) Mike answered and was immediately helpful, friendly, and resourceful. I am so grateful for him! He walked me through the process to start my car and had me come back in to check in on my car. Seriously the best!!! Don't go anywhere else. Mike is the bomb dot com!! A million stars!!

When my check engine light came on and my 2010 Audi Q5 started idling roughly like an old diesel pickup truck, I brought it in to Mike at Melika Motors. The next day he gave me the bad news that my engine was not good and that it likely had some serious internal issues. He was very straight with me, and let me know that if he worked on the car it could cost 50% of what the car was worth or more to fix, since he would have to drop the motor out of the car first to work on it. Because of his honest appraisal of the situation, and his clear understanding of Audi vehicles, I decided not not fix the issue but instead get rid of the it before sinking a ton of money into repairs. I would highly recommend Mike at Melika to anyone looking for an honest mechanic who truly wants the best for his customers and has a ton of experience working on European cars. I plan on bringing my new car to him to work on going forward.

Wife and I recently purchased a restored '87 VW Westfalia, and when driving it home I came upon a gal driving hers, and I asked if she knew of any local mechanics she could recommend, to which she said she only takes hers to Mike of Melika Motors, and showed me that her license place frame was from Melika Motors. The very next day I had a coolant hose rupture causing a very smokey and fluid-leakage breakdown, so I had reason to go see Mike. He was able to take my car in the same morning and took care of the problem, and explained everything he did, and also what I should look out for regarding any engine damage that may have occurred from the incident. So 1,000 miles later of my new engine break-in period, I just returned for an oil conversion to synthetic, and a small list of other issues that I wanted to discuss and have looked into. Mike was great in discussing all of my list and adjusting and/or repairing as needed, showing nice attention to detail and making sure that I understand what he did, what he did not need to do, and what he suggests I keep an eye on until my next routine visit, which I hope will keep me away for a while, but knowing that he has my back in our quest for many fine journeys ahead. Thanks Mike!

Mike is truly outstanding. He went above and beyond to help get my 81 Mercedes back into shape. He worked within my budget to diagnose the most pressing issues and took care of them within 48 hours. My car is running beautifully now, thanks to Mike. He also took the time to explain what problems I might be confronted with in the future. He is knowledgeable, helpful, virtuous and kind. I will never let anyone else touch my car. Gotta love a family owned and operated business :)

I've been bringing my BMW's here for about 16+ years. Great customer service and communication. Murad is very honest. He will let you know what is needed soon and what can wait for a bit. I trust him fully with my only full time driving car. No hesitation making a recommendation for this very upstanding repair shop with Murad at the helm.

*Writing to thank Mike again!* My car was stranded in a parking lot and unable to turn on. I called Melika European Motors for help, and Mike stayed on the phone to troubleshoot & give detailed advice. Long story short, car was fixed. When I called to thank him, he offered to check the issue in person, so I drove to Melika Motors. He tightened the loose connection that prevented the car from starting & didn't want to take any tip at all. My friend and I are SO grateful, impressed, and astounded by his kindness, eagerness, and expertise to help. Money was not the issue for him: Mike exhibited incredible kindness during a stressful time for us. My friend and I will definitely be coming back for any auto-needs for Mike.

Mike makes you rethink all the stigma associated w mechanics. Honest, prompt, on time, thorough in reviews, and provided detailed options. My current car hasn’t been acting up and it actually makes me miss seeing mike!

I cannot recommend this place enough! Mike who owns the place is the most professional mechanic I've ever had. He knows everything there is to know about cars. Every time I use him, my car comes out of the shop purring. He is also the kindest and nicest guy in the world. He literally does everything. He calls the warranty place for you and sorts out the best deal and pleads with them on your behalf. He also goes out of his way to help you knowing that while your car is in the shop you are inconvenienced. One time when our car was in the shop and we were going on vacation the next day, Mike drove me and my family to the airport. Then another time we needed to put our car in the shop, he came over and collected our car from our house so we didn't have to drop it off in the morning. You have to use this Melika Motors. I'm never going anywhere else again!
