If you are shy or have never done much boxing in your life and you're considering JFM, DO IT! I am both of those two and I remember how much gym culture intimidated me. JFM is NOT like other gyms. It's a really loving and open community with trainers who actually care about you and remember your name. They adjust to your level and are really understanding about what you're looking for. I could not recommend this place enough. And their first class is free!

JFM is one of the best fitness communities out there. Jordan is an incredible teacher, engaging and motivating. Classes are oriented to boxing technique and HIIT training. It's a full body routine. The community is friendly, welcoming, and inclusive. The culture here is second to know, thanks to Jordan and his trainers. Highly recommend.

My wife and I started going to JFM's outdoor classes in October 2021 once a week, and we've increased to twice a week after a few months (it's currently July 2022, so we've attended about 50 one-hour classes so far). All the trainers are great, but the owner, Jordan, is by far our favorite. He's patient, always has a positive attitude, and does a really good job keeping track of your skill level and tailoring 1-on-1 training to each individual. This is the only exercise-related activity I've been able to stick to for longer than a few months since I was in high school, and it's 100% because of Jordan's positive attitude, skill as an instructor, and knowledge about boxing and fitness.

I've wanted to try boxing for years, but was always too intimidated. I signed up for a class at JFM in October 2021 and now go 2x a week. Jordan's classes start with 5-10 minutes of jump rope and stretching, followed by 40-50 minutes of bag drills and 1:1 mitt drills, and end with ~5 minutes of ab work. It's intense, but don't let this intimidate you - Jordan personalizes the workouts and training to your fitness level. This is the most fun I've had working out ever. Highly recommend you try a class if you're in West LA.

I finally found my new boxing gym that feels like home. I recently moved to Culver City and have toured two other boxing gyms... JFM is like no other. Classes are a fusion of HIIT, boxing, and interval training. In each class, you get private time with coaches, which helps you improve technique. Classes are also available throughout the day in one hour increments, so I've been able to work around my schedule and do a workout. Coach Jordan is very attentive, friendly, motivating, and it's evident that he has absolute passion for the community. I've already had a few classes with other coaches (shoutout to Coach Hondo) and they helped me fee welcome since day 1. Other members are very friendly too, which is something I look out for whenever I join a gym. I'm just getting back in shape after a one year break and I'm ready to get toned again. Thanks JFM team! You're awesome.

One of the best workouts around. This high energy boot camp is tough but you get a great sense of satisfaction when you're done. Plenty of parking in the Ross parking lot.

In the past 5-6 months JFM has become my home away from home! It's the best boxing gym/gym in general that I've ever been to. My body has never looked better, and I didn't even start boxing to get in shape, it was honestly more for my mental health! All the trainers are amazing , they really focus on your form and fine tune the exercises to every individual in the class. I never miss a class with Manny, but I love training with Alejandro, Jordan, Diego, and Angel too. Unlike other boxing gyms that have a generic fitness class outline, JFM really trains you how to box and they make sure you don't injure yourself. It also did not take too long to become friends with all the people who train there, it really is like one big family and now I've even gotten a few of my friends addicted! Specially my female friends, I've found that it has been so empowering for all of us. I can't stress enough how much this place has changed my life (confidence, mental health, body, etc) - it is honestly worth every penny!

I got a private at high noon. No water and im a geezer then i hurt my shoulder and ankle. My thai teacher did a similar thing. He hated yo hold he added hot tea and insults . I punch very different and was really rusty. But desperate to get out of covid - absolutely maybe ok for some. I was not able to really like the style - of instruction you might.

Omg extremely extremely extremely happy to be here. My first session was with Jordan and omg he is the most humble, kind, and friendliest person/trainer. He was super nice and was very patient to teach me boxing tricks and tips. I learned so much just on my first session itself. The session was a sweat buster.I am on my unlimited one-week pass this week, and utilizing every opportunity I get to go and workout, and been training with different coaches, who all are by the way very welcoming and amazing, and are very very helpful.Besides the amazing team from JFM, the vibe here is extremely encouraging, you can't, not pushing yourself once you start the class.I have to weight lift 3-4 times a week and am always sore and tight.After attending few sessions here, I realized the boxing sessions are helping me recover from my soreness, increase my stamina, flexibility (all the stretch/warm-up they make us do), agility, flexibility, plus I am feeling more energetic. A good workout helps to have a clear mind and a happy body. I am one.I highly recommend this place if you are looking to just go crazy, work out, get in shape and feel better and happy.Kudos to the team, and my fav Jordan, I have only met him twice and his smile just says all how passionate he is about this place.Thank You.
