This is a great company. Great product. Great warranty policy.MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAN THAT HOWEVER, are the truly excellent people who work at the venice location. They run a truly excellent shop which is worth stopping by. I've been buying their glasses for years. They're good glasses. Hip as hell. Maybe even great. But their unparalleled customer service is what compelled me to do what I almost never do, and write this review.If you're a local and you loathe the outdoor mall that Abbot Kinney Blvd has become, then this is a welcome relief from the otherwise inescapable, tech-bro culture that has metastasized its way through venice.If you're visiting Venice, this is the ONLY GOOD SUNGLASSES SHOP around. Don't be fooled by any of the others. This is the only good one around.

Bought a pair of their glasses and had my prescription lenses put into the frames and in less than a year they started to rust or breakdown. Now when I wear them they actually cut the top of my ears which makes me wonder if I've had a recent tetanus shot. Even though I was told they were under warranty the frames were discontinued and replacement arms are 3 months away. Which is not a solution to the eyesight issues. Asked to swap for another pair and noooo can do. Perhaps ur Abbott Kenney rent is making u cut back on the quality of ur materials. Right now ur glasses seem to share a common lifespan to the glasses I can buy down Venice beach for 10 bucks

This review is not for the store particularly but the quality of the glasses. I had a pair from them that I ordered about a year ago which I LOVED. I lost them on vacation so I ordered another pair and what I received felt like cheap plastic. I don't know if their manufacturer has changed but the change in quality feels very obvious to me as a customer. Unfortunately, I returned the glasses.

10/10 customer service! Not only are these sunglasses incredible, their staff is even better. I spoke with Scott earlier about a pair of sunglasses I was looking for and he searched the data base to track them down for me within minutes! He was so kind and professional. I will be shopping with this brand for life after my experience! Thank you Scott M, love you forever.

The two guys working at this location (I believe one is the manager) are SO INSANELY RUDE AT ALL TIMES. I've never experienced something so off-putting. Each time I've visited this Illesteva location (3x now within past 6 weeks), I'm treated like a trespasser. As if me being in the store is SUCH a hassle for these dudes. There's 0 greeting upon entering the store...no asking how they can help... and then when you god forbid ask a question, you're thrown back short and VERY snarky answers. Between your Nolita (NYC) store and Grove location I've purchased over 10 pairs of glasses from your brand. Brand loyalty is everything. Treating every customer with respect is way more chic and important than a cool frame shape will ever be. ***note: I wrote this after my third consecutive horrible experience with the same 2 men at your Abbot Kinney location

Amazing service! I bought a beautiful pair of glasses here two years ago and they're still holding up extremely well. Thank you to the associate who warmed up and tightened my frames for free.They have a huge selection and I'd definitely buy from them again. Trust me, Illesteva is a sun glass brand that's worth the money!

The customer service was AMAZING! I lost my glasses and didn't know the exact frames I had previously purchased and Tamzen (an actual angel) helped me identify the frames by having me text her past photos! She quickly figured it out by just 3 pics! SUPER patient and helpful! Well deserved 5 stars!

iIlesteva = Warm staff. Very kind. Very helpful. Coolest frames EVER. My six year old students love them and kids don't lie. The designs are upbeat, classy and timeless. It's like eating an ice cream cone in the sunshine -- Illesteva frames make you feel GOOD. Bought two pair in the past month. Great store in Venice. Great frames. Happy as a bowl of gelato!

I've been there twice and decided to buy one at my second visit, the staff was awesome and willing to let you write down any styles you like or directly take photos to do the further research. These sunglasses are sparking and cannot help choosing just one pair, these are fashionable but lack of functionalities, and they are pricy as well, just as the staff said: We don't do any discount and people are still willing to buy them".
