Low quality goods. Bizarrely behaving manager who tries to smear people who write bad reviews of her store. She essentially makes up fake reviews that she contends the person giving her business a low rating wrote. Just check out some of her responses. I've never seen anything more bizarrely detailed in my life. She goes to strange extremes to deflect criticism, and for what?

This review is for the Swedish candy alone: The store is really cute and has a good selection of bulk candy but I would go elsewhere. It is $17.99/ lb. The candy here is stale and hard. You can get the same and more at Sockerbit and it tastes a lot fresher there. I wouldn’t recommend this candy, I threw most of mine away the day I bought it sadly.

I have lived in Venice over 30 years and think this is the NICEST store on Abbott Kinney, with unique gifts, clothing, toys, home decor and of course candy and chocolates imported from Scandinavia. It is a delightful space, with friendly service. Everyone there is always smiling and their happy vibe is contagious. Awesome!

Overpriced, rude employees, I wouldn't set foot back in here really. I don't think it's going to last very long. Not a very good business outlook considering the high turnover rate of businesses on Abbott Kinney. Too bad. I'm hoping for a more reasonably priced and interesting space to take over in the next few years.

There is an interesting collection of items for home wares like cups, vases, cutlery. Everything is nicely displayed. The staff don't acknowledge your presence until you bring stuff up to the register to pay which is good if you like to browse and finally helped when you go up to them.

This store has everything! Perfect unique gifts, kitchenware, yummy Swedish gluten free candy, baby items, women’s clothing.. I’ve lived in Los Angeles 7 years and somehow never came across it on my many Abbot Kinney shopping days. I will definitely be stopping by frequently now. I grabbed a bag of their candy today. So yummy! ? Great selection.

Be careful buying the kitchenware here! I spent a good chunk of money here buying a dozen new bowls for my kitchen. The glazing fell off, making the bowls too dangerous to use and the owner refuses to offer a replacement or even a discount to buy a new one. They didn't even bother looking up how much I spent on all of their bowls before they refused me a replacement. Weird business practice. Avoid.

One of my fav shops in LA. They have wonderful Danish home goods, gifts, candy, and clothing! I love it all! Very kind non snobby staff. They genuinely try to help you when you enter, even though most of their traffic can just be folks walking around looking and window shopping on Abott Kinney or buying Swedish candy. They are kind to everyone and have a great eye for lovely straight-out of Denmark/Sweden items. The store has a lot of inventory packed in so maybe not great for strollers, but i would not miss this shop if you are in the area.
