I couldn't have imagined a better experience for my beloved Henry. The staff were beyond kind and helpful, and patient and knowledgeable. The facility was comfortable and clean and inviting. They even offered coffee, and sweet waiting rooms. I felt cared for and truly valued as a customer. The surgeon and nurse took over an hour, sitting on the floor explaining the options and different procedures and risks. I never waited more than 10 minutes, and they were beyond accommodating. With all they did to him, he came out looking like he lost a bar fight, and it likely should've cost a mortgage payment, but it was incredibly reasonable. My friend thought it would be double. They were up front about all the costs and explained everything afterwards. I almost want to cry writing this, they took a really scary situation and made me feel so special.. My lil dude too. We will be eternally grateful and loyal to them.. our new fur-ever vet. Thanks Dr. Faro and Amanda and the whole crew!!! xoxo

It's always such a pleasure to come to the Venice location! From front desk staff (esp Amanda) to the doctors (esp Dr Moffitt), I always feel like they love my cat almost as much as I do! Thank you for being such a wonderful vet clinic.

My 12 yr old 3 pound Yorkie had dental surgery here about 3 weeks ago and as nervous as I was, I have to say everything went great! This was her 3rd time going under anesthesia for a dental cleaning and extractions but our first time at green dog dental. I usually bring my dog to overland vet and her usual vet said her teeth are so bad but since shes so tiny you need to bring her to a specialist. My normal vet didn’t feel comfortable doing the extractions. I found green dog dental and decided to go with them. Lola had 14 teeth pulled, she now has 7 teeth left. She’s recovered really great! The staff was amazing with explaining every detail to me, texting me with constant updates, and answering questions I had at 9pm. Dr. Lau performed the surgery and was great to work with just a little odd she’s not on the website and I originally met with Dr. Geist. But overall, she did an amazing job and she was really easy to communicate with. I kinda wish I got a second opinion because the surgery did cost $4,500 but I know with small dogs it can be a tough surgery to do. I’ve brought Lola to her normal vet and she said her mouth looks great and seems to be healing well. Lola is doing great & she’s back to eating hard food and playing fetch. I would recommend green dog dental but just might be on the more expensive side honestly not 100% sure because I never got a second opinion.Overall, Thanks green dog dental for taking great care of Lola!!

We have been going for several years now for dental cleanings, and were heartbroken when we found out our dog might need some teeth extracted. However, the staff at Green Dog Dental in Venice really eased our way and kept us informed at every point of the process. The pricing was upfront and we could really tell that they cared about our dog's well being. Thank you all for your kind and informative service!

Don't even bother going here. I tried to get a referral for my two dogs to a "board-certified dog dentist" and they refused to give it to me. They completely ignored my emails asking them for updates and ghosted my emails. If that doesn't show that they're more money-driven than caring for your pet, then I don't know what does. It's fine, I got them somewhere else that also does dog teeth extractions but they had no problem giving it to me. I have many things to say from years of bringing my dogs here. The owner is cocky, defensive, and has a bad attitude when you complain. In two instances when I brought up a concern, the first reaction should have been a concern for your pet. Instead, you get a defensive attitude and response which makes you angry as a pet owner. Look, I'm not trying to get my money back when I complain, I am concerned for my pet. Management is more focused on expanding the business by charging you lots of money but they aren't even dog dentists lol, just normal "Vets." They changed their name from Green Dog Dental to Veterinary Center lol. The last time I saw the owner he said he'd give me a discount for being a good pet owner. Turns out it was a $5 discount to write a Yelp review. I'm going to refrain from telling you everything in little detail, it's exhausting. They seem nice, but I can see past the fakery and pretense from the whole place. Just read the negative reviews. They're scary. FYI, be prepared to get a phone call from Rose, their manager who will call you when you leave a negative review. You walk into their place and it's confusing - looks like a cafe? Very strange. If you guys want a 5-star review, show some humility when treating clients. Run your facility like a Vet rather than a retail shop.
