Amazing selection of wine and well priced, farm fresh vegetables that are such good quality and so tasty, best selection of pantry products, beers sold by the can so you can try a variety. A great local grocery store!

I do enjoy the coffee and location, today it was so off that I drank half the cup and decided to give it to a homeless guy who then thanked me and took a sip of it, only to kindly walk away and set it on the trash can with a disappointed look… so it’s hit or miss. I am not sure but today a homeless man wouldn’t drink it, He was looking through the trash can for food when I gave it to him

A bit confused as to why this place isn't rated higher...
this is an important business to have in Venice!
The staff and management are super rad.
Are their prices expensive? Maybe, but they also have fresh, healthy, whole food to nourish the neighborhood. Their teas are a game changer. Their herbs, breads, fruits, sandwiches…etc. ;)
& they've gotta unique selection of beer and booze at fair prices.
All this this close to the ocean, too?
Please support this business. Angels work here.

Just walked out after going in to get coffee and an afternoon treat. The two guys are « hanging out », one took out the trash and then came back to continue talking to his coworker, didn’t wash his hands, took out his phone… still not acknowledging us in any way. We were annoyed that we were waiting to be served and after seeing that he didn’t wash his hands it made us question if we even wanted to get anything. Please wash your hands, that’s 101 of basic hygiene.

This place is an overpriced piece of cr…p. 10$ for a 250gr feta cheese, whereas any feta cheese costs 4-5$ in Europe. Smoked salmon was the worst quality, I have ever tasted probably farmed, costs 29$ whilst you can buy high quality wild Alaskan salmon for 10$. The yogurt was the worst I have ever tried. Please avoid!!!

It’s a fantastic specialty grocery store. Bread is wonderful and coffee is excellent. Great salts, dips and sauces. Expect everything to be expensive. However, the counter employees and baristas are rude. They act as if they deserve a tip when you just get bread and in general hate their jobs. Just buy your stuff and bounce.

Unique, curated specialty goods and produce at premium (but fair) prices. Cute place to discover new treats or ingredients, or treat yourself or others to unique items. Went in for the first time today on a Saturday around noon, and the workers were all super friendly, helpful, and chill. Agree that there could be more vegan options, and that a lot of stuff do not have prices labeled. For reference, a specialty toothpaste was $10 (same price as David's toothpaste for those who know), and an 11 oz snack of flavored pretzels was $4, so the prices were not crazy marked-up like I had assumed for a place in this niche and location! Will come back when I'm in the area :)
