I hate giving low stars, but this store has the WORST customer service and response. I had an appointment in June that was canceled 30 minutes prior due to the woman being sick who was supposed to help us. They offered to reschedule but I had people drive in from out of town and we were only looking at dresses that day so she offered reimbursement ($45). I never was reimbursed. I have emailed and called with NO response. While it is just $45, it is the premise of terrible customer service and having paid for something that I did not receive.

Great experience from start to finish!Had a great time with Kimberly on my first appointment! She got me into a dress that I didn’t originally pick but it became the one!Came back for a remeasurement appointment about a month before the wedding and picked up my dress/final alterations at about 2 weeks before.The dress is so beautiful and I felt amazing in it all day. It also had a very cute and easy bustle. I bought the Ruth with the off white liner.

I found the perfect wedding dress at Dreamers & Lovers! I was looking for a dress that was unique, matched the relaxed vibe of my wedding, and I wanted to be able to support a local artist/business! I am so happy I stumbled on Dreamers & Lovers searching for bridal designers. Both their Venice and Torrance showrooms are stunning (I said yes to the dress in Venice, but they make all the dresses and do all of the included alterations at their studio in Torrance), and everyone I interacted with (including the designer herself!) was positive, kind, super chill, and made me feel comfortable from start to finish.And the dresses. Oh, the dresses. I knew it had to be a lace long-sleeve dress for me long before I found this designer, but these were my wedding dress dreams come to life! The laces are unique and beautiful, and have a soft, natural texture that really sets them apart from anything else I had tried on previously. The silks are luxurious, diaphanous, and just white enough to be bridal while still maintaining a vintage feel. I tried on several different options (all available in sample sizes that fit my absolutely non-model-shaped body with no more than a handful of clips, by the way), and they were all stunning - but the Dawn dress took my breath away. Everyone in the room knew it was my dress, but the consultant I was working with (Kimberly) didn't apply any pressure - she was perfectly happy for me to take my time before committing, and I am so glad I did!The custom fit of the dress was also very special - there was no alteration too small for the Dreamers & Lovers team! I can't believe it was included in the price - the alterations team spent hours making sure every detail of the fit was perfect (and it wasn't bad to begin with!). The dress was also shockingly comfortable for all day on my wedding day - there's enough to it that it felt secure, but it was also light and breathable. The one thing I wish I had done in advance was do some more research into bustle styles - I assumed I would spend most of my wedding using the wrist loop to hold up the dress, so I didn't have any opinions about the bustle at the fitting. It turns out bustling is basically essential if you plan to get the hem of your dress at all dirty during the day (which I did) - who wants a wet, grimy piece of fabric in their hand all night?? I wasn't in love with the look of the bustle I ended up with (and I ended up with the dress bustled for most of the reception) but I am 100% sure if I had raised this at the fitting, the alterations team would have taken care of it!If you want relaxed, vintage-y vibes for your wedding, and want to invest in a stunning, custom tailored piece of art for your wedding dress, look no further!

I had an absolutely incredible experience purchasing my beautiful gown from dreamers and lovers. I went for my first bridal appointment in January of 2021 when Covid was very much still impacting the experience, but I was able to have a very intimate experience picking my gown with just me and my mom. I live eight hours away and was very impressed that this bridal shop had multiple dresses that I could try on that were my size (I am plus size and had a very hard time finding bridal shops that had dresses I liked that I could try on in store.) I ended up finding my absolute perfect dress. I love that this dress was made to my measurements for no extra cost. I did my second fitting over FaceTime, and when I picked it up a month later it was perfect! Kimberly was amazing through the entire process and really communicated through the whole year and a half timeline. I honestly couldn't recommend this place more! Thank you to everyone involved!

Dreamers and Lovers had the best dresses in terms of quality of any shop where I tried on wedding dresses. I fell in love with violetta in person and it was an absolute joy to wear the dress on my wedding day. The dress looked and felt gorgeous. Yanique is a true visionary. And it was such a joy to meet her when I went for my final fitting and to pick up my dress. Thank you Dreamers and Lovers.(Dress photo by the Gathering Season. Cute shop with very vocal stylist who speaks her mind. Come here only if you are looking for boho, chunky lace wedding gown (think farm, barn, outdoor wedding with lots of pampas grass, or golden grain field engagement photos).

This review is for Kimberly. She was amazing from the time we arrived. We were a bit early and totally understood if she couldn't take us right away but she was so accommodating. She pulled beautiful dresses for me to try on and really listened to what I was looking for. It was such a fun shopping day for my mom, MOH and me. Thanks Kimberly!

I took a friend here to try on wedding dresses for the first time, I just want to say Claudia was an exceptional bridal consultant! Such a sweet soul and so helpful with all our questions. My friend Allie, (the bride) kinda knew but wanted to try on different ones and she was super accommodating and was able to help us completely narrow it down. I think she deserve the best reviews! Thank you for such a sweet experience here!

I have so much love for Dreamers and Lovers! The only downfall is that they don't have a parking lot. You need to find parking in the residential area because it's located on a busy street with time restraints.They have a lot of beautiful boho dresses so if that's what you're looking for, THIS IS YOUR PLACE! it was so hard to eliminate dresses because I loved everything! I'm more of a plus size but don't let that discourage you because they have all sizes to choose from! Customer service is amazing! My girl was so sweet and so attentive and definitely went with the flow with our requests and questions. Loved her, I believe her name is Stephanie, but I could be mistaken. She came in earlier than my appointment time because we was running early with all of our appointments. So sweet of her to open earlier for us and I airboat her so much for that! Will be back to purchase one of the dresses I loved for my wedding!

The reason I'm giving 2 stars is because I try to be a fair person and my dress was very beautiful. The whole experience was very frustrating for me because there is not multiple fittings. If you are wanting a fitted dress I would not recommend getting it from here. There is just one and it's the day you pick up your dress. I flew in from SF and was there for about 6 hours. I almost missed my flight home and had to find someone else to alter my dress and pay out of pocket for which was very disappointing. I left in tears and was not offered reimbursement or anything.

From start to finish, my experience at Dreamers and Lovers was a complete DREAM!!! I went dress shopping with my mom and from the moment we stepped into the Venice shop it was the most pleasant, fun, and easy going experience. I can't say enough amazing things about Kimberly! She was awesome and really made the entire day! She also led me to find my dream dress and was super encouraging, complimenting, while also being genuine and not pressuring what so ever. My mom and I had a blast! Saying "yes to the dress" here was truly so special and something I'll remember forever!Also my dress pickup was so smooth and they really take the time to perfect your dress. The owner is so wonderful too and really makes sure you are 100% happy when you take your dress home. :) Thank you Dreamers and Lovers!!!

PERFECTION! As soon as I walked into the store I felt like I could see myself coming here every day. The color pallet is a soft glow of neutrals complimented with rich color and textured rugs to add the boho feel to the vibe that is D&L brand. This being my 4th store trying on dresses I was expecting the usual, clips all over the place to tuck you in or hold up because finding try-able dresses that fit a 2 and a 16 can be the true struggle of trying on wedding dresses. I tried on about 8-9 dresses and only had to clip ONE that was too small. ONE. It changed the whole experience. I was so use to being uncertain about liking something because it didn't fit and therefore I couldn't really trust my imagination when I felt like I was shoved into a dress. I finally felt comfortable, glowing, happy. All of these good signs mixed with endless amounts of variety and beautiful lace it was a no brainer to say YES when I found one that truly leveled up my "bride-to-be" experience. Siv was on our side from the store pulling dresses and holding up color liners and became my third in the group giving great opinions and suggestions all the while laughing with my mother and bridesmaid and sharing experiences. I'm beyond thrilled to have been able to find a dress that fit to try on, that I saw myself spending the day in, made by a company full of POC women and in lace! I can't gush enough over the experience and quality of Dreamers and Lovers. Do not skip a warm and compassionate bridal experience.
