Update! Have gotten 2 additional tattoos at Black Diamond since the the poppies last year - a wave form tree from Ken and a recent walk-in rainbow with Salvator - and could not be happier with both!
Ken is amazing!! Super detailed work and a clean, chill and friendly atmosphere.

Appointment process was professional and easily booked online. Location is easy to find on Lincoln. Easy to park in the residential neighborhoods close by and walk over. Awesome vibe inside with circular lights above the stations and windows letting in natural light. I had Niki, she was very friendly (I really enjoyed our conversation about the local Latin dance scene) and light handed and helped me get the dragon tattoo inked on permanently. I didn't think it hurt at all and the healing was quick & dry. No blood or plasma pooling under the tape. I feel complete.

Such a cool shop with a really friendly vibe. I felt comfortable from the moment I stepped in. The artist, Shaed, was so kind and funny, and made the hours fly by with great conversation. Love her work so much. Can't recommend this place enough!

This store has bad customer service, I came with the intention of getting a tattoo for the second time, but I was so disappointed when I saw the dirty place and the guy who served me was a stuck-up guy with bad aptitude pretending to be polite.I had to simply leave, I went to another tattoo shop, there I received good attention and good service. Conclusion I do not recommend this store to anyone.

I've had a cover up and some tattoos added to a previous tattoo. Today I got a tattoo to commemorate a kidney transplant I received. All of it done by Justin. Amazing artist, light on the hands, can free hand writing if you want it done. Prices vary on what you want but so reasonable. Entire studio has a great vibe, plays awesome music. Jam at the front is one cool guy!!! Will be coming back

My fiancé and I had the worst experience at this tattoo shop. The “artist” Salvator charged us $700 for two wedding ring bands that were a simple line around the finger that took 15-20 minutes each. We were told by management that there was nothing they could do to Conor for the gross overcharge. Salvator even added a $200 future “touch-up” charge without our knowledge that management ultimately refunded. Awful experience and total scam artists. Stay away from this shop. It also appears they have deleted my previous post so that’s why I’m reposting.

I had Juan and he completely transformed a bad tattoo that I had 25 years ago into something that looks absolutely brand new it was much better than I expected and I would highly recommend Juan... he is really amazing!!!! I cannot wait to come back to Venice Beach! (I wish that I could post my before and after picture here!)

Got my first tattoo done with Ken. I came in with a basic design, asked for some extra things, and he knocked it out of the park. Ken was very receptive to questions and changes to the design. Quiet and professional, it was a privilege to watch him work.
