“This is the place I go to get paint when quality matters. True writer's supplies from tips to stupid variety of spray can brands. Most chill biz owner I have ever met. You won't find this at Home Depot or Anawalt hardware and prices are good for top quality - support your local small shops!”

9503 Jefferson Blvd unit C, Culver City“I'm here early this morning for GraphAid annual sale. 40% on all regular price items. Also, I'm one of the first 50 customers. I get a goodie bag. Great selection of art supplies for the west side of LA. Supporting the small independent art store. DJ's rating: 4.65/5.00Would I come back? Definitely Yes.”
“Quaint, yet beautiful hidden gem of a paper store in Culver! Great quality products and a large selection of handmade and machine-made papers from various countries for a price that is truly reflective of the quality of their goods. Will definitely be back to shop more!”
“I was desperately trying to find somebody to re-cane a beautiful mid century chair that my cats had torn to shreds. I searched high and low, and couldn't find anyone to fix it, until a vintage shop in Atwater recommended this place. I am so excited and happy that they did. I brought my chair in and they gave me a very reasonable estimate. The owner and the people that work there are very friendly, but more importantly, they do amazing work. My chair looks absolutely stunning! It looks exactly like it looked before my cats got to it. This place is amazing!”
“Even with the new law forbidding retail of flavoured vapes, this is one of THE finest smoke shops. Unfortunately, they had to get rid of all of their flavored material (& I will never forget this place for having every Flum flavour imaginable... the good old days, at this point). However! They have a thousand other products even outside of smoking culture & habits, like supplement blends, CBD gummies at different concentrations, a middle compartment (a glass case) of pocket knives (some are like, really cute), body jewelry including nose hoops/studs & hoop earrings, sodas, INCENSE in great quantity, and more! I even saw, behind the counter next to the cigarettes, some product called "stop opioid abuse." It might be some type of product to help wean patients off the use of opiates, which is huge. The employees here are always so amicable & chill. I've never waited in a line longer than one person, & the employees are so welcoming that you just naturally get into conversation with them. Still one of my favourite smoke places ever! So neat, clean, & organized! Thank you!”
“I’m a muralist and I would like to say it loud that no nova paint, no life. This is the best of the best. I’m so glad that they are here to help and support painters and muralists to complete their works beautifully with their high quality amazing paint. Thank you Nova!!”
“Love it .. always fully stocked. They are starting to carry different thing like lunch pails, curtains, and rods. My granddaughter was in heaven with all the different types of slime ..”
“The staff is super friendly and helpful. I had no issues finding the large newsprint paper or drawing pads. Everything I needed was in stock. They also offer student discounts so you really get your money's worth. The parking on the side is a bit tight but there's more parking behind the building.”
“Fantastic art store. They have materials for all sorts of arts and crafts. Pens, markers, paints, brushes, plates, papers, canvasses, metal thread (for jewelry making), beads, alcohol inks, press printing, etc... also easels. They have a small book section for ideas and inspiration. They have crafts for kids, as well as real artist level materials. They have adorable gifts, stickers, games, and fidget toys. So it's also a good shop when looking for presents for some people. You can sign up there for a free store account for a discount, but you need to give them a phone number and email.”

1453 14th St, Santa Monica“Highly recommend! Ally is incredibly kind and talented. I was passing through town right after my Grama’s birthday and only had one day with her. Thank you so much for making it a memorable one! Ally is a patient and engaging teacher. We felt at home in her studio, where she provided easy to follow guidance, artistic insight, and conversation. She was also very flexible and accommodating of my Grama, which was much appreciated.”
“What I do any other person can do. Taking time for myself, and winding down, and getting creative with Art work type projects to have a certain look in my home is a pleasure for me, most especially when our California rainy season hits. So, I gear up with wooden projects that I incorporate with paper. I typically paint on card stock and canvas however, sometimes the artwork I find on paper is exactly what I could have imagined painting. I will show an example.”
“I brought in my son's beloved vintage toy for repair, and the craftsmanship was outstanding. They fixed it up like new, and my son was over the moon when he got it back. The cost for the repair was reasonable and totally worth it. Excellent service, exceptional quality, and great value. Thank you, toy store!”
“Every visit is a pleasant experience where the staff are always peppy and happy to help and share their wisdom. The store is very well-stocked and I've always gotten all my needs/wants at reasonable prices.”

527 N Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles“SICK A** STOREFRONT bunch of nice cans mops and all kinds of vandal needs haha & the Asian homie Andrew (i believe that's his name) is dope!! 10/10 place would definitely recommend if you need some quick paint + nice art exhibitions/galleries”
“Nice and clean store. They have just the basics inventory compared to some of the bigger Michael's ( Burbank/Glendale). This location is primarily only self checkout, which would explain why I just saw only 2-3 associates during my shopping trip.”
“The art gallery is an incredible space that showcases a wide range of captivating artwork. The exhibitions are thoughtfully curated, providing a dynamic and inspiring experience. Genevieve, the curator is knowledgeable and friendly, making the visit enjoyable and engaging. It's a must-visit destination for art enthusiasts seeking inspiration and a truly memorable art experience.”

830 S Sepulveda Blvd suite D-108, El Segundo“I really love this store and an associate by the name of Vanessa was very helpful very sweet and patient she's the reason why I'll come back to this store!”
“Great selection of beads. Fun little clearance sections with great prices. Would definitely recommend this store. Really good pricing and wide selection of findings and threads as well. I will definitely be going back!”
“This is my happy place. I was in heaven to re-enter after COVID, especially since F & S closed. They alone also still have the odd policy of cutting the cloth to an nth of an inch and then allowing returns.
The friendly and patient staff is worth the drive, along with notions and fabric (they had Liberty of London last year) --- I have given clothes that are impossible to replace a new life! I found the same fabric as at MOOD for 2/3 the price.”
“I had my very first art lesson at Mititels art in Santa Monica on Santa Monica Blvd., and sixth Street I believe in 1962. Mr. Mattel was amazing so kind and inspirational. I will never forget him. The art store had every supplies you could want. We are so blessed that his sons have continued with his tradition and brought us another wonderful, art supply framing store!”
