1108C Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice“Exceptionally eclectic collections, but chronically understaffed. We've been coming here for years for the wonderful eclectic collection. Service had its ups and downs, as other reviewers have noted. But our recent experience has been wonderful. Lauren has been patient, accommodating, and helpful, but clearly can't handle the entire store alone on a busy weekend. We hope that she'll get help soon, so we can resume shopping here.”
“This place is magical, and the owners are awesome!! It packed with things to find. If you like places where the hunt is half the fun then you will love this place. I found so many amazing albums, and the back patio has the craziest antiques!”
“I was desperately trying to find somebody to re-cane a beautiful mid century chair that my cats had torn to shreds. I searched high and low, and couldn't find anyone to fix it, until a vintage shop in Atwater recommended this place. I am so excited and happy that they did. I brought my chair in and they gave me a very reasonable estimate. The owner and the people that work there are very friendly, but more importantly, they do amazing work. My chair looks absolutely stunning! It looks exactly like it looked before my cats got to it. This place is amazing!”
“After Necromance, sadly, closed their brick and mortar shop, there was a brief period in time where their combination of taxidermy and Victoriana was no where to be seen. I'm a big fan of Gold Bug in Pasadena, but they are not quite as "dark" in their aesthetic. Memento Mori, on the other hand, feels like a pretty good replacement. So, what are you going to find here? Well, as you may have guessed from my intro, taxidermy. The classic boars and deer heads preserved as wall ornaments...but also delicate butterflies beautifully arranged under glass domes. While no where near as extensive a collection of preserved animal parts as Necromance, there still is a decent collection, particularly for decor. Memento Mori also lacks the strong mothball smell that permeated the aforementioned store. There is a large collection of silver jewelry incorporating classic taxidermy elements, such as glass eyes. And lots of trinkets for those of a "gothic" aesthetic. They also carry a number of very comfortable tshirts bearing variations of their logo, one of which currently hangs in my closet. Memento Mori also appears to serve as a gothic community center: they always have flyers and posters advertising events such as Endless Night, a vampire-themed ball, or gothic-themed fairs for artisans. So, definitely worth a visit if your aesthetics or predilections lean to the darker side of life.”
“I found this place while dining down the street. This is a unique find with a huge inventory of collectibles and antiques. As most antique malls do, each area is filled by individual vendors. It is a large two story type house with so many booths filled to the brim with antiques of all kinds including clothes, collectibles, housewares, decor and more. It is a bit overwhelming and difficult to navigate, The stairs to the second level are rickety. I found the holiday type decor to be overpriced in my opinion. However, many of the other booths have reasonable prices and are offering 20% off right now. I made some great finds to add to my extensive hand painted ivy dish set. We also found a wonderful Rummikub type game called rummy tiles in a case similar to a backgammon case for travel. I also found some great framed watercolors and old photograph of the local area as well as a wonderful vintage black beaded purse which will make excellent gifts for my daughter. I will be going back to take a hard look at the Tiffany type lamps that were there. You can't be in a hurry as the checkout process does take a bit of time since every booth has a different pricing system. Right now the street parking is free to encourage holiday shopping and dining during the month of December. If you are looking for a unique holiday shopping excursion, you should stop here and take a look.”
“Walking through the crowded aisles is like walking through that warehouse at the end of "Raiders of the Lost Ark." Whether or not you are looking for something in particular, you will find something here... Actually you will find many "somethings" as this place is a cornucopia of interesting items. Mid-century modern furniture seems to be in abundance, but turn of the century cuckoo clocks, lamps, and pretty much anything else you can imagine are yours to find; Just make sure you have a few hours to actually go through the isles, this is not a place for a cursory review. Staff is great. As for value... what is the value of a treasure?”
“Do not decorate anything without a visit to this place for yuo will find there not just the inventory but the most discerning mind, a romantic heart and a pair of eyes that see beyond obvious. Enjoy the expereince as we did. Some may call it enchantment, others - exploration but we found it all blends into continuous sense of harmony.”
“Love this unique shop! Tons of costumes and cool outfits for any fun occasion. Lots of unique accessories. The inside and outside of the store are very creative. Make sure you check out the outdoor section out back so cool.”

9441 Culver Blvd, Culver City“I love shopping and donating here! Their proceeds support women’s organizations and the shop is run by mother and daughter duos. Everyone is super friendly and on the first Saturday they have 50% off everything! Today I got 5 pieces of clothing, a crystal dish, and a large painting for $28.”
“Zach and Lorie are amazing! I purchased my first luxury timepiece (rolex submariner) from them. They are absolutely incredible! Thus, I ended up buying a couple of more watches from them. I sincerely appreciate your exceptional efforts in guaranteeing customer satisfaction with your product.

“This place is amazing!!! The collection has everything under the sun from antique books to agricultural equipment to paper dresses. There are some lovely pieces for both collection and art. Jill is so friendly and knowledgeable! So glad we stumbled in!”
“Phoned them the other week to see what prices thaey would pay for my silver. They gave me a fair price and I went in that day, asked Michael a bunch of questions and he was more then happy to answer and explain. Very transparent and fair. Glad to finally find a local gold and silver store.”
“My favorite place for unique finds. I've been to other flea markets but they are always too vintage for me. Melrose tends to have more reworked vintage which is what I really tend to look for. I love it here.”
“Samuel literally has a showcase of the most beautiful rugs I have ever seen all under one roof. Samuel's Rug Gallery also provide services like repairs, cleaning, and maintenance. Fantastic service. To find authentic, luxury Persian rugs for a reasonable price is very rare. We bought two Persian rugs that transformed our home. I got a third rug for my office. It looks warm and rich with the dark office furniture, exactly what we wanted in our office space. We are thrilled.”
“Cool little shop with a great (and varied) selection. I liked that there were a wide range of prices- felt like “something for everyone” (or anyone).Staff were friendly. Lots of stuff on sale when I was there.”

616 N Doheny Dr, West Hollywood“When you are in LA or Santa Monica, make sure to visit David's exceptional boutique. Spend two hours browsing through his amazing collection of couture vintage jewelry and purchased insanely gorgeous Christian Lacroix and YSL statement earrings for my personal collection!”
“We brought in a heavily-tarnished Christofle Vertigo 3-Part Server that had been left outside for probably a year. Needless to say it was in desperate need of some professional TLC (or, in this case, CPR!) . Well, our guy Pablo took one look at it and said with supreme confidence that it would be ready in a week. Sure enough, one week later- presto-whamo- the piece looks as good as new. This shoebox-sized establishment has been in business since the early 60's and you can easily miss it as it's located on a busy intersection (Third & FFX) across the street from Trader Joes, but it's well worth seeking out. Heartily recommended.”
“Great outdoor market with free parking and $5 general entry. Plenty of vendors and you need about 2 hours see most of the benefits. There are food trucks here, portable restrooms, and leashed pets are allowed.”
“Great shop! Very personable and friendly team! They have great antiques from jewelry to fashion. We saw a bride trying on a dress from the 70's that left us speechless. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind treasure then welcome home.”

812 S Robertson Blvd, Los Angeles“WOW is all I can say, honestly! We just had the most delightful experience with Julie. We went in to see about a vintage gold band for my fiancé and we really lucked out. Julie is SO knowledgeable! She took her time with us and allowed us to ask a million questions not only about the vintage cigar bands but also about all the jewelry (they have a massive selection). The resizing was included which was awesome, too. We had such a warm and inviting experience, especially compared to another estate jewelry shop we had visited earlier that day (name redacted). Thanks, Julie! Can't wait to send my fiancé here for all my anniversary presents ;)”
“The COOLEST place in L.A. to see movie and television memorabilia! First of all, it’s amazing they even let you in the door and casually walk around this gigantic warehouse full to the brim with props from television and movie history. All is for rent, nothing is for sale, but prepare to have the time of your life just walking around and taking it all in! Wow! So much fun!”

2701 Main St, Santa Monica“This store is just Fantastic, very cool and interesting items to purchase in here. This store has a lot of laboratory equipment and machines that were used in a lot of films. The store owner is very knowledgeable about each prop. If the door seems to be locked, just knock and the store owner will let you in. I highly recommend stopping here. I'll definitely stop here again. I did buy an item here. On street parking is limited but, there is a paid parking lot one block over. Well worth the trip here.”
“I love this place. The first time they fixed my lamp it was pretty pricey because they had to pretty much rebuild it, and they made it more sturdy. And that also meant that this more recent time I brought it in to fix it (my fault) it was SUPER CHEAP because it was their parts so they had replacements. He fixed it right on the spot out back. We had very nice, light conversation while he fixed it. I will always take my business here. I appreciate this place so much! Otherwise I would have had to replace my beautiful lamp instead of repairing it over time.”
“Geoff Brookes is a master craftsman who belongs to a rare guild of artisans specializing in restoring damaged treasures. Whether it's a family heirloom, a priceless Asian vase, memorabilia from the Titanic, or a phenomenally heavy statue at a very public Memorial---he is called upon by clients here and abroad. He has restored numerous items for me back to a flawless state, all with full disclosure about the process, and takes time to answer all questions and to propose options. I trust his judgment and am grateful to know him and to call him friend.”
“Michael helped me when other stores didn’t knew anything about my vintage gun. He answered all my questions and he is a very knowledgeable guy. I recommend this place 100 %”
“There are so many gorgeous things here, it's truly eye-popping! It's an incredible collection of antiques and vintage, a must-see if you like rare, beautiful items.”
“Love this Antique mall, you can find wonderful high quality furniture and decorative pieces, superb jewelry and reasonably priced. I read reviews and I was surprised at others saying it was overpriced, it is not. also very nice help and free parking in the back.”
