Incredibly lackluster sales people, standing around chatting instead of trying to sell, even with customers holding loads of things they'd obviously like to try on. I wanted to advise the tall brunette that she should really quit if she's so unenthusiastic about working.

A great, curated selection of women's styles make Ananda a mist-visit every time we drive through this area. Abbot Kinney is a fun stop anyway. But, my +1 cannot resist this boutique and always takes home pieces that are destined to become favorites. She gets complements and the inevitable "where did you get that" inquiries. If you're visiting the LA area and looking for some women's clothing that has a distinctly "I picked this up in southern Cali" look, Ananda is your place!

My favorite clothing store on Abbot Kinney. Ananda is one of the first stops on our list when my friends and I are in the area. This small boutique specializes in female clothing, accessories, and fun knick knacks. I purchased my favorite corduroy pants here, as well as a few tops/dresses. I love that every item is unique and you won't find it copy/pasted across the Venice boardwalk. It's also a great place to search for the perfect gift. I found a dainty gemini necklace for one of my best friends and she's worn it non-stop for months. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area! While the items aren't cheap, they're definitely more affordable than the majority of Abbot Kinney shops.

Bought a dress here that ripped the second I put it on for an event. Clothes are cheaply made and overpriced. Tried to return the dress and they said no returns or exchanges. There was conveniently no manager or person present to make this right. Sold me a broken dress and did nothing to fix it. Will never shop here again.

The store itself is everything one should love about Venice: equal parts kitschy and ethereal. The employees are everything you would hate about Venice. Out of all the stores lined on Abbot Kinney, you'll at least get a chuckle out of the behavior these part-timers (and possibly owner) project onto their customers. Keep walking past Ananda and you'll find stores with better merchandise, for a much better experience worth your money.

I can’t say enough good things about this boutique! Shopping for my Mother of the Bride gown for my daughters upcoming wedding was SO stress free!! I explained what I was looking for and she nailed it!! Great selection & reasonable prices too! They are amazing to work with and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a special occasion dress to come here!!

The cutest little store on abbot Kinney! The employees were super sweet and they had the cutest little knickknacks. Perfect for a gift for a friend. We picked up some tarot cards and oracle cards, as well as a nice lounge set. The prices are very reasonable here as well.
