So, this shop is not owned by Enrique Vargas anymore. It's not called Vargas Auto Repair anymore. I kept asking the new owner Jesus who used to be Vargas assistant mechanic but he just keeps on telling me he's on vacation. Sorry I was just really concerned. No more wheel alignment and brake rotor resurface. No more walk-ins and asking Enrique to drive my car and do visual check using the lift. In fairness with Jesus he lifted my car to check on my clunky suspension but the quality of work is not the same anymore. Just had my Scion serviced here but I wasn't really happy with the workmanship since there's no more Enrique to supervise. I had to bring back my car to get the job done right. Time for me to look for a new shop.

Very rude people. I can tell when im being hustled. I work on cars myself and only wanted a good deal. They were really rude and told me things were broke that had been fixed the prior week. Do not go here! Spend more money on a quality mechanic. It you dont have any knowledge they will screw you over

My car was in need for some quick repairs: the AC knob had fallen in into the car and the car charger outlet broke. My stepdad recommended this place, so I dropped it off. It turned out I needed an replacement AC knob, so my brother found the part somewhere else and dropped it off. The customer service was nice and my car was done the same day. Originally they quoted 2 hours, but it ended up being longer than that. I think they were working at multiple cars at the same time. This place is on the corner right across from the Western Bagel. I usually tend to take my cars straight to the dealership for maintenance but I didn't want to spend too much on a repair, so this was a cheaper alternative and it did not disappoint! Enrique did a great job and I would definitely come back in the future if I need another repair job done.

I was recommended this place for an alignment. All was good at first test drive. Then when I got up to speed on the freeway and my wheel shook like a bear shaking a cage. I almost lost control until I slowed down. Pulled the car over to the shoulder and called AAA. I got towed back to his shop and was told it was my fault and that I didn't know how to drive. I'm not trying to shun anyone from this business, but shop around before you settle with Vargas... Also they recycle their oil..saw a guy doing that while waiting..

I was looking for a cheapest tire shop that can mount/install/balance my tires.. Enrique was very accommodating and very friendly unlike any other tire shop that they just want your money and don't care about good customer service some shop charged me $150 what i need and i think that's ridiculous... from now on his shop is gonna be my go-to tire shop. i really recommend him.. he was professional doing his job.. thank you for everything!

Enrique is one of THE most honest mechanic I've met in Los Angeles. I had blown a motor in my car, and he sourced a new/used engine for me so that I didn't have to retire my IS300- a bucket list vehicle I finally acquired. Not only was their work impeccable, incomparable, and fastest turn around on this job in about 4 or 5 rebuilds/replacement engine drops prior... the BIGGEST difference was they totally steam cleaned under the Hood and my car is dang near car show ready looking! These guys must eat Frosted Flakes because They are GRRRREEAAT!
