We visited this shop after getting quoted for expensive service at the dealer, and the team at Valley European performed a thorough inspection and recommended a separate, but related fix for the same issue. They single-handedly saved us $1200 and performed the service that was actually needed, and gave us full transparency along the way. At pick-up, they had washed the car for us, which was a really nice detail that makes a difference! Note that they do not accept credit cards, but do accept checks, cash, and Zelle. We will absolutely be back here for future service.

Just had such a wonderful experience with Fred, Rico, and this shop. I had a real mystery problem with my BMW that the BMW dealership had problems figuring out. Months later, after they said they found the reason, I got a pretty outrageous quote to fix. At my brother's referral, I brought it to Fred for a second opinion, and he was able to diagnose and fix the issue for me. The warmth, kindness, care, and commitment out of this shop is just so special. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you so very much for helping me through a really stressful situation.

I have been taking my Porsches to Fred for roughly 10 years. Don't let the shop's small size and "rough around the edges" look fool you. Fred and his guys know what they are doing, and he will work with you on any project so as to not break the bank. Just would like to add that Fred is the guy other bigger Porsche shops in the area send their cars to when they can't figure out how to fix them.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, talks a big talk with nothing backing it up, got jerked around for 2 weeks with the owner and got no where with him and his lies, this guy is a piece of work. You have been warned.

Fred and his mechanics are the most honest and hard-working Porsche mechanics I have found. Fred is a master with these cars, with a lifetime of experience - though somehow makes you feel like you’re the only customer in the world, & works on your car himself until the job is done right. He doesn’t take any shortcuts, is a transparent and hasty communicator, and he and his team’s passion for Porsches is infectious, confirming the reason I fell in love with these cars in the first place.Fred has rebuilt the rear and front suspension of my 912-6 3.0, with bigger torsion bars, adjustable spring plates, Bilstein shocks, setting the height & stance beautifully. He also installed a 930 brake master cylinder, steel braided lines, a Carrera oil cooler with a bigger Ferrari fan to keep it running extra cool, and plans to install front and rear sway bars, RS flares, Boxster brakes, and so on. The car is a completely different machine, and I look forward to years of improvements with Valley European.

PLEASE READ THIS!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! (It's a long one but I promise it will save you from the nightmare I went through.) Fred...Fred...Fred Where do I even start with this guy? My Maserati started having cooling issues and the motor was compromised as a result. Since I had known Fred for quite sometime now, I called him to get some advice. We discussed pricing and a timeline, and to me, he was the better option financially. He told me that he is busy but will work on the car in a few weeks when he gets some cars out, and I understood. On 8/21/21, I towed the vehicle there, Fred checked it out and confirmed I needed to replace the motor. It took us some weeks to find a good used engine on eBay. The motor was 8k and Fred wanted an additional 2k for Labor to star. (The entire bill was about 12,500 at this point) Fair enough. I paid him 10k upfront. He Ordered it, and after 3 weeks or so, the motor was delivered to his shop. This is where the s*** show and the excuses and lies start with this guy. The motor sat at the shop for 3 months before Fred even looked in its direction. Mind you, I was calling about once every 2 weeks to get an update, and each time he had an excuse like "oh, I am super busy and Super short handed." Or "I had a fallout with my son, and it's been rough for me". Naturally I understood and left him alone for awhile to get his situation together. Come December and the car is STILL NOT worked on. I called him, angry of course and I asked him what the deal is. He said "I promise you that the car will be done in early January. I was starting to become fed up. He mentioned that the last mechanic had cut the Shifter cable and that we needed to replace that. I paid him for the part, and he ordered it. The shifter cable, sat in the shop for another 5 months! (Now Late May). No one on this freaking planet would not be upset. I call him and tell him that my sister is coming to visit me in early June, and I need My car before then, and he gave me the same b******* "I will get it done". I sent him and email confirming our phone conversation and the date of completion. I never received a response. TYPICAL. HE NEVER CHECKS HIS EMAILS! Fast forward to June (My car was supposed to be done 3 weeks ago) and I decided to show up to the shop since this man WILL NOT CALL TO UPDATE YOU WHATSOEVER! When I showed up, he was Lounging back in his desk talking to a customer. When he saw me walk in the office, he looked like he saw a ghost. My car was sitting in between some junk cars and didn't look like it had been moved. I again, asked him very nicely and calmly, as to what is going on with my car. He replied with "OH as you can see, I am very busy". Are you f'n kidding me?! I told him that we agreed on a date since he knew my sister was coming. He proceeded to stand up and get very aggravated with me, saying how this is his shop, and he doesn't like when people come in here and complain! I could not believe what I was hearing. He then had the NERVE to say, "I got Porsches in here with 60k engines, your car didn't make me money and your car is peanuts to me". Who the F says that to a customer? Whether a repair is 500 or 60k, you as a business owner should not belittle people just because their repairs are not as expensive as others. Mind you he is the one that quoted me what he did, so I found that especially amusing. I explained to him that I am rightfully upset since the car has been sitting in his shop for ALMOST YEAR at this point! He is the one that is taking forever to fix the car, even though he had everything he needed. How TF is it my fault that he is not making any money because he is terrible at time management?! You won't believe what he says next. He has the audacity to say, "I don't care, I will put your car out on the street". I wish I was making this s*** up. I have never once in all this time, disrespected this man and he turns around and says some s*** like that to me. Now I will speak my truth about Fre

Had a stalling problem with my VW Tiguan, which two other local shops couldn't solve, even after one place replaced the turbo. Fred's shop has a diagnostic software system that plugs into the car which is so much more sophisticated and comprehensive. He was able to get two malfunction codes that pinpointed the problem area and ran a smoke test to find any leaks, etc.As a result, no more stalling.Very friendly and helpful. Totally recommend.Service: Engine repair

I had a fuel leak with my BMW and his shop was the only one open, which was a lifesaver. Fuel filter and hoses were replaced, but to the tune of ~$900. Later on I did the job myself on the same model (different car), and realized it cost under $100 in parts and 2 hours labor max. Appreciate the quick turnaround, he’s friendly and knowledgeable but felt it was a bit too expensive.
