This school is Horrible their is a old Hispanic Lady that is very mean and I try to enroll my daughter to school she keep telling that I had to fill out the forms for the application and I went home to fill it out I come back the following day and she said I didn't fill it out right and am missing her immunizations and birth certificate she didn't tell me that I go back another day and she told me I had to make appointment ridiculous she shouldn't work their if she doesn't have the patience for parents and the way she talks to kids is insane she shouldn't work their !!! Unfortunately is the only school near my kids if not I would've take my kids somewhere else

This is a great school with great teachers and staff. Everyone there is truly dedicated to the education and well being of your child. There are some very exceptional teachers that really stand out and should be acknowledged for the work they do. Someone mentioned the staff and I would say don't let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch. The office staff could be a little thin but I am sure that is due to budgeting issues. Also the walking your child to the room, they are trying to get your child to get use to school and doing things on their own. Also with security issues these day I don't want a bunch of parents I don't know running around the school. My two kids both Culminated from Valerio and are doing spectacular in middle school. Thank you Valerio Street Elementary School, Teachers and Staff.

The office people have very bad customer service and to start off with as well the lady is like 70 years old . HORRIBLE attitude . There was one time I was filling out paperwork but I guess she had thought I left with the paperwork to fill it out or bring it back another time little does she know I was sitting down filling out the paperwork and she had said something about my application to another coworker talking about " why can't i write the truth about my sons dad " 1 that isn't her business and if she wanted to address something with me she could of called me . I got up right away and told her if she had to address something or has any questions I'm right here . She stayed quiet . As well today I was caught off guard that we " parents can't walk our kids to the door " we have to leave them at the gate . My sons 5 early starting kindergarten.. it upsets me that we can't even see them enter the room door so it left me worry ... this school really needs to make some changes .
