Worker wouldn't provide small piece of tape to seal box , had to buy $6 tape even though Amazon customers provide
$12 billion dollars worth of profit.
Was told that's how they make their money for Amazon returns!
spelled out in UPS shareholder reports. UPS store managers probably don't read those and if they hear the numbers during those quarterly all hands meetings, they've zoned out before the earnings details are discussed.
But it's public information. It's not a factor for the store's P&L, it's just another shipping item on a commercial account. Just that the commercial account happens to be the whale. Amazon isn't a customer, they are a strategic partner with a special contract and regardless of which direction a package is going, the accounting isn't done "per package". It's a whole contract that amounts to 13.3 percent of UPS annual consolidated revenue (which is north of $84 billion).
So when you drop off an Amazon return, the UPS store manager isn't thinking "oh great, another cost we have to eat". If they think about it at all, it's the realization that without Amazon's business UPS would be in a lot of trouble -- $12 billion dollars worth of trouble.

Been here twice and the customer service is not the greatest. The first time I thought maybe the guy is having a bad day. The second time confirmed he’s just not friendly. Rather drive out of my way for better service.

I can seriously without a doubt say this UPS store has the absolute worst customer service ever! I came in today with a package that needed to be sent out expedited the girl at the front desk there must be something wrong with her but she didn’t seem to have a clue about what was going on or how to even do her job. I asked her a basic question about voiding a label and she went back to ask her horrid manager. I realized I could easily void the label on my phone so I did by the time she got back she told me that I would have to do it myself, no problem I got it done. I then wanted to send my package out and they were trying to charge me over 300 dollars! I ended up again buying the label online myself and then went out to find a print store got it printed and went back. I simply asked for a piece of tape to stick my label on and the manager I could only assume but based on his appearance he was disheveled and short tried to sell me a tape for 6 dollars saying it was the only thing he could offer and if I buy it he would gladly tape the label himself. I had just about enough then. Not only was I running around all afternoon trying to send this package out. They saw me go in and out trying to get this done and didn’t lift a finger to even remotely help. At that point I said screw it and I ended up voiding my UPS label again and went to the USPS down the street they gave me a piece of tape charged me 80$ and sent me on my way with a smile on their face. This UPS store is seriously the worst UPS location I have ever been to these two “employees” are the worst I have ever seen. UPS do better.

Yes everything you read here in these reviews is true based on my experience. The person who owns this store seems as if he hates his life and is painfuly miserable. Yes all your items need to be taped........ tape everything tape your husband, tape your wives, tape your baby because if it ain't taped he's probably going to be upset and try to make you buy tape. Unfortunately for him I've been carrying tape in my car since 2016 so I wasn't going to buy anything from the guy. No, no, no, you don't give me bad service and attitude and think I'm giving you MY money. HA! He said I cant use my tape, lol well I did, and he shiped it. Sir go work as a trash man or a sewer cleaner or anywhere that you don't have to interact with people or have customer service. UPS you may want to screen people, or do background checks before you allow them to franchise under your brand.

I leave this review after getting bad service from this store for couple of times.
The owner is very rude.
He pretend he's a professional but he's attitude show something else
He shows bad Attitude and raisehisvoicefor me because of his wrong paperwork. He did a public notary for me and left my original paper blank and attached some writing from himself to my paperwork.the notary he did was rejected and he doesn't want to fix it or correct it. Drive a little bit to another UPS office and get your service. This guy will waist your time and money.

Awful owner, very rude. Horrible customer. He's not able to carry a conversation with him getting upset. He was trying to sell me a tape when I already had tape. He said that I can't use my blue tape because ups doesn't accept it. Please people stay away from this ups store.

Jack, the person that receives the packages was really rude, the store said it closes 6:30, I was there around 6:20, but I coudnt open the amazon page to get the lable, once I did, at 6:27 he said he was closed and he coudnt print the lable. He didn't even made the minimal amount of effort to help. I don't recommend this store at all. He was rude with another customer too. He has a very bad attitude. He shouldn't be in this type of work if he dosent understand what customer service means. I will never come back to this location

I am not one to complain usually but this guy is the WORST UPS employee or owner or whatever he is. Extremely rude no customer service at all. Kept pushing to buy $6 tape when I didn't need it. Finally just left and drove 5 miles to the nearest one. I only selected one star because -10 stars was not an option.

haha - what a painful existence they have built for themselves…
i don’t review places often but this place lived up to the one star warning! amazing - the guy was there and he def despises humanity - but they also wanted to charge me $6 for ONE piece of tape… to tape the top of the box - i asked if they they are a shipping company and the girl said no… i think she interpreted it as “don’t you guys have any tape?” (which would have been the next question)
for lifelong memories this place delivers - but for positive experiences: you def want to go elsewhere for deliveries…
