went to this shop in May 2023 as drive gear was not working.. I waited at shop for transmission repair. drove vehicle for 24 hours and transmission failed.. tow vehicle back to shop. after 2 weeks before I was able to get vehicle back, I drove off lot and vehicle failed within one mile. took vehicle back and three transmission were used to repair and make me whole. that was three months of waiting. I called every other day and either Carlos didn't answer phone and if he did I was always told vehicle not ready or it will be ready tomorrow. in August I was told vehicle was fixed. when I pickup vehicle the speed was limited to five miles along with motor warning light lit on dashboard. I hoped home and called Carlos, of course no answer. numerous text were sent with those not being answered. I had vehicle tow back to his shop. I reach out to Carlos as it been six months that I've been without my vehicle. well we are in year 2024 month right and vehicle still not fixed. Carlos still doesn't answer phone and when I went to shop same thing told, vehicle not ready and will be ready tomorrow. it seems it will never be repaired at this shop. now vehicle being held hostage as there's no transmission in vehicle and items left in vehicle are missing. my advice Never Ever used this place even with the low cost of repairs.

I had a transmission leak with my car. My anxiety was on the roof because I never had a transmission problem before. I don't even know where to go to have it fixed until I found Transmission Super Shop and met the owner Joe. He explained everything in details to me after inspecting my car. He was straight forward and honest with what I'll expect with my car. I was really relieved, he really guided me. He gave me a very good price for the repair. Joe is not just a mechanic, he would take care of you like a family! Thank you so much Joe! I really appreciate your help and service!

What can I not say about this shop, Joe is one that goes beyond the job and talks straight to you. I traveled to California when my transmission went out just as I came into Redlands. No one would even touch my Ford van to work on. I found his shop near where I was going to be, he gave me a quote, he got it rebuilt and going and fixed other problems that came up along the way while staying with in the quote. Joe is a stand up guy and you cant go wrong using him to rebuild your transmission.Way to go Joe, Thank you for all your help!!!!Services: Transmission

Went to two other mechanics before heading here, one guy told me he couldn't even check the car for 3 days! I called her after seeing the reviews and Joe was able to meet me within 30 min or so at his shop. While it's not a cheap repair, it was definitely a more affordable option with a quick turn around. Something else needed to be replaced, Joe saved the part so he could show me which i thought was a nice gesture. Car is back to feeling brand new. Thanks Joe!

Brought my car to get checked and sure enough it needed a transmission rebuild. Can't believe how expensive these things are, but again, gotta pay for what you need and if you want good work.The place is in a auto repair strip mall, meaning there are like 4-5 businesses that repair cars and it is hard to move around to find a spot.Lucky for me, there was a spot and was quick to get tended to and figuring out a plan to review and diagnose the car.The owner gave me a call a few hours later informing me of the findings and that it would take about a week to repair as they had to order the parts then begin with the rebuilding process.The good thing is the 24 month/24,000 mile warranty they gave, which is better than most other places offer and the prices, about even with most places, more than some but for sure less than others especially the big chain operators.Anyway, I would recommend this place for transmission jobs.

I really felt it was time to park my car and come to grips that I was going to have to sale my 2013 Chevy Camaro. I was having a bleed out of fluid, the dealer said it was coolant, transmission and motor oil and was going to bleed me out by fixing each unit until they found the answer! That is until I found Joe & Transmission Super Shop right here on YELP. Joe was determined to find the answer which he did in a reasonable amount of time and in what I can describe only as a Heaven sent costs!! My experience was unreal, he sent me pictures and YouTube explaining my issue. I was happy to tears.. REALLY!! And to top it off Joe washed my car which they don't do at the nearby dealer anymore. Having a good trustworthy mechanic is hard to find and Joe @ Super Shop is my guy!

Transmission went out 2000 miles from home. Brought the car to Joe he got me back on the road. Joe is honest does excellent work. Prices are very reasonable and his work is 5 star.

My Lexus RX350 had an odd shake on excelleration that didn't go away after a repair by my repair shop. Stopped into Transmission Super Shop to see if this might be a transmission problem. Met Joe and was impressed by his clean shop and willingness to take my car out for a test drive even though he was very busy. After driving my car, Joe thought it may be an axel problem and said it was not transmission related. I appreciate Joe's honesty as he could have suggested changing the transmission fluid or some other service I really didn't need. This review is for the honesty of the owner and shop, not about any repair. Turns out it was a wheel bearing that needed replacement and my car now drives smoothly again. Really appreciate Joe, his time and honesty. I will be back if I need any transmission service in the future!

I am glad I found this place Joe took the time to answer all my questions. Then gave me a honest opinion on what he will try to do to get my car repaired .I spoke to the owner Joe on the phone six months before I went to his shop and he REFERED me to another place to get my car repaired. I took my car there but the problem wasn’t fixed and the place was sold and the shop was closed when I went back so I had to look for another shop to get my car repaired. I was Reffered to another shop in TARZANA and I took my car there and they were terrible and they couldn’t fix the problem but I took the vehicle back twice but again they were not able to fix it just came with excuses. I tried to find Joe’s phone number in my phone contacts list but I couldn’t find it. Finally one day I remember his name and typed it and I was able to get his phone number. I called Joe and he was very professional he took his time answering questions and was courteous and friendly and seemed knowledgeable. He was very nice when I showed up at the shop and he made some phone calls to try to find someone who he could work with to help me to fix electrical work problem with my car. He took a look at my car and discussed the repairs and what it would entail. I like that I was spoken to with respect and that he took the time to give me details. I asked him a bunch of questions and he took his time explaining things to me. It’s rare to find a trustworthy mechanic and to have a positive experience with car repair but Joe and his shop really stand out as the good guys in the automotive field. I definitely recommend Transmission Super Shop to anyone needing repair even if it is not a TRANSIMISION issue Joe will recommend you to the best mechanic shop or he will work with you to get your car fixed. Joes and his team went above and beyond to fix my car and you can’t find any trust worth Mechanic like Joe. I’m very happy with the service and the experience that I had with Joe.Finally, my car is running nice and smooth. This visit was the most amazing experience I've ever had. Joe explained everything about my transmission to me that I needed to hear. We discussed options from beginning to end that I might need, I will be going to get a full transmission flush ASAP! The rear transfer case seal on my all wheel drive Audi was leaking fluid and it wasn’t a repair my general mechanic could do so I needed a transmission specialist. I chose Transmission Super Shop because the reviews on Yelp and Google were overwhelmingly positive. I spoke to the owner Joe on the phone and he took his time answering questions and was courteous and friendly and seemed knowledgeable. He was very nice when I showed up at the shop and he quickly offered me a comfortable spot to wait while he took a look at my car on the lift. He invited me to take a look at the problem spot and discussed the repair and what it would entail. I like that I was spoken to with respect and that he took the time to give me details. My repair actually was finished faster than I expected and even under the quoted price which was a really happy surprise. When I picked up my car, Joe had the parts he removed (two rubber seals) and showed them to me and explained why they no longer were holding a proper seal. I’m a curious person so I asked him a bunch of transmission and tech questions and he took his time explaining things to me. It’s rare to find a trustworthy mechanic and to have a positive experience with car repair but Joe and his shop really stand out as the good guys in the automotive field. I definitely recommend Transmission Super Shop to anyone needing transmission repair.

I brought my 1998 Camaro for a rebuilt transmission, it cost $1600 with a 2 year warranty. It took more than 2 months to fix it and I had to take it back because it wasn't fixed. It's been over a year and guess what? the transmission is starting to fail. I would not go back.Service: Transmission replacement
