Yessi is by far one of the best employees I've dealt with at any uhaul in the valley, she went above and beyond for me and my brother. When i tell you that whole 15-20 min experience was the best customer service i have ever received im not exaggerating. Having an employee like her makes it enjoyable to go to major companies, i could have went a little more expensive but a lot less headache with an offer up ad or craigslist ad but she made it very enjoyable as long as shes working there we will be coming back!!!!! THANKS YESSI SHE DESERVES A RAISE

Zero stars. I paid $575 fot a hitch install and made an appointment. I show up for my appointment and they have no clue I was even coming and at first said they didn't even have any of the parts, and then changed their mind saying oh wait we do, gave an attitude like I did something wrong. Online says it's a 30 minute job and the guy told me it was going to be 4-5 HOURS. I had no way to go back home and said I will wait and they would call when the car was ready. Well they never called and after 7 HOURS I HAD TO CALL THEM and they said "oh yeah it's ready". No one ever go to this place. Extremely unprofessional and unreliable.

I will write review everywhere about how frustrating about this store! I called them 2 day before about my reservation but they forget looding my equipment than i had to come back store again next day! Its not finished. They charged me money about dolly which is I didn't use. But big things is i rent my truck about 14 hours than i wanted to extend. When i called store one lady opened phone than she said 86$ for 3 hours extension.I extended with application free! Cause of 24 hours is free for you but that person doing frauds. Do not make reservations here worst company's!!

Super satisfied all around! My 3rd time renting a cargo van for picking up furniture locally and every time they make it simple in and out- no nonsense and great rates. Everyone is pretty cool - my 2 favorites for outstanding customer experience are: Anthony : Super friendly, connected and He will hook you up no matter what! & Amber: Friendly, Chill, Professional and gets you on your way! TIP: This Location has AFTERHOURS DROP OFF- You use your phone to take a bunch of pics and then drop off the keys there....Super Helpful if you work late hours like me.

People are nice, which is the reason for the 2 stars, but do not come here to install a trailer hitch. Or if you do, have someone pick you up. It's going to take them over 3.5 hours to do the install. My husband initially had an appointment on 7/1 at 12pm and when he came, they said they don't do installations on the weekend. They rescheduled the appointment to Monday, 7/3 at 1pm without calling us to let us know. Luckily, I was able to make it to the appointment. I was thinking it was only going to take an hour max -- the lady at the desk said it would take 2-3 hours. Why??? So I was like alright, maybe they're backed up so I ended up walking to the Plant up the street and thought I could kill some time at Living Spaces, Old Navy, maybe get a bite to eat... I came back at 3:30pm and asked the same lady if it was almost done. She said no and they weren't able to really give me an approximate time it was going to be completed. She said maybe another hour. I was sitting there on a bunch of cardboard boxes waiting for it to be done. It was finished by 4:43pm. What a waste of a day.

This place is a joke. We took the car for for couple of hours and after I dropped of the key because they were closed. Now I see u have extra charges on my account . I called to find out why extra charges we put enough gas and dropped off after 2 hours. They told us because when we asked u how many miles you'll drive approximately ? We told them 10 miles Because we drove 11 miles they charged us. Even we put more gas that we drove but since we said 10 miles but drove 11? Worst service Stay away

I was overcharged in mileage and gas. I estimated 20 miles to be driven and actual driven was less than 17. My receipt was never sent to me so when I called the call center emailed the receipt to me and I saw I was charged 53 miles and 3 gallons of gas. The gas that was added did not even match the mileage that they listed on the receipt. Before you drive off take a picture of the miles out and miles in when you return it because they are dishonest and will overcharge you.

Today I rented one of their trucks while I got to my location and open the back me and my bf realized that it smelled like cow sht in the back and unfortunately we got to it too late and ended up loading our furniture with a bad smell and poor floor cleaning. I am going to say this about the employees since this not my first or last time that I might come back here. The employees do need to be more professional when attending me since the girl with a beanie and another guy in there Latino very slim early 20's maybe mid, was very rude when I was approaching them. They seem like they don't care about their job and think we are there to play. I hope this gets to management and fix this. I wouldn't like to deal with this horse playing or careless attitude that I keep getting from them. I do come to rent and I am a busy woman I wouldn't like to waste my time every time they start acting like this. If anyone else agrees with this please comment on my post to see if management can do something about this. I do see a lot of bad reviews and I do agree with the services the provide at the front desk.

So my we rented a trailer last week and took it back same day. We check the bank account and they double charged us. Went in to see what was going on and there were other people in there complaining about the same thing. We have yet to see the refund back in our account. These people are scammers. Do not go there to rent anything you too will be scammed. Crooked employees!

Went and rented a trailer at 9:36 am Wednesday and returned it at 12:30 pm same day , following morning I get an email saying I was charged for 2 days this place must be crooked or just the employees not sure which one because I went in Thursday morning and there were a couple people complaining that they were charged or overcharged so it must be a regular thing .. THEY GAVE ME A REFUND BUT STILL WAITING FOR IT IN THE BANK

This U-Haul was super helpful! They showed me how to use the app, got my truck super quick. Then it was quick for the return. Thanks to the manager and staff this experience was vary refreshing. The people here a years ago we're rude, but these were a super upgrade. Thanks U-Hail of Van Nuys.

I made a reservation more than 2 months in advance for a 6'x12' trailer. A few weeks later I came in to make sure my trucks tow wires worked properly because I just installed a new connector for towing. They checked it and said yes I was good to go. I dropped by on the Friday prior to my Monday pick up date and was assured everything was in order and the trailer could be picked up at 6:00pm on the following Monday. I arrived 10 minutes to 6 and there was a mechanic underneath a trailer trying to fix its wiring. He asked me if this was my rental and I looked around and said well it's the only one here so I guess so. I went into the office and the guy at the counter said they don't have any trailers for me. I indicated I have a reservation, but he insisted they would have no trailers until Thursday. Finally the manager came in and said the mechanic is working on my trailer and should be ok soon. A lot more transpired between now and 10 minutes to 7, but long story short the manager said I would have to come back tomorrow at 6 am to pick up the trailer. She saw leaving at 7 and there was nothing she could do. We talked about a few ideas I had, but nothing doing I had to come back at 6 the next morning. When I arrived at 10 minutes to 6 the next morning I waited for her to arrive at a couple minutes after 6 with her Starbucks coffee in hand. She paid no attention to me, went into her store and I waited outside for 30 minutes finally she opened the doors to help someone else who had just arrived and then proceeded to help me. I finally got the trailer at almost 7am and was on my way. She offered no discount for my inconvenience or even an apology for not having the trailer ready the night before. I had plans to go camping for 10 nights with 68 other people all depending on me to be there early with the recorded reservations for the 15 campsites plus another family waiting at my home to load the trailer. Now we all had to make other plans to spend the night and pack the trailer the next morning and arrive to our destination late. A real tough way to begin our yearly family vacation. I would not recommend this U-Haul location for any rentals you may need.

Worst staff ever! Completely lied to go Another rental location saying the rest are reserved looked online and purposely said their location was not available... they were too busy hanging out and laughing didn't want to assist

I borrowed 15 feet truck for 4 hours and they charged me $266.00. They took too much and even didn't tell me the reason why.

Needs more training in customer service. New person was argumentative with me when I did not surrender my rental keys to her. No uniform. No badge. Within a parking lot frequented by the homeless. What would you do? Just keep it to mobile check-in and check-out at this location.
