We had an issue with our shower being clogged which was also causing a leak further down in our building's piping. John was absolutely wonderful! He arrived right on time, within minutes he knew exactly where the issue was, and he was able to get it taken care of quickly. Thank you so much for all your help. Very happy with my service, and I will definitely reach out again in the future.

Best plumber I've had! Called him to fix leaky faucet handles in my shower. He walked me through exactly what the problem was, replaced the stems, fixed the issue within an hour, along with replacing a leak-prone water line on the refrigerator while he was here at no additional cost. When I had a clogged garbage disposal a couple weeks later, he came to fix it in about 5 minutes, left me with a tool and instructions on how to handle it next time it happens, and he didn't even charge me for the visit!

They did an excellent job with my tankless water heaters. They explained, in easy terms, what the problem was, and took care of it right away. Plus the price was very fair! I highly recommend them!

John at Rooter Shield is fantastic....super responsive, professional and very reasonable prices. I have had my challenges with other plumbers and I now feel as if I found my trusted plumber in John. He helped me two times on a weekend with a pretty urgent hot water heater repair issue and also another time at a different place installing a new water heater. He was communicative, professional, cleaned up the area he worked in leaving it in better shape than when he arrived and was very reasonable on his prices. I hired John/Rooter Shield for a second opinion after the first plumber advised that detecting the leak under my balcony could leave my townhouse looking like Swiss cheese and could costs me thousands and replacing my shut-off valve, which broke when he attempted to shut-off, could costs me hundreds. John evaluated my property step by step just like the first plumber. Only difference is that John immediately suggested doing a leak detection BEFORE punching any holes. John informed me that it was not necessary to replace the entire shut-off pipes as the pipes were in good condition; only the valve needed to be replaced with an upgraded model. The price was reasonable. John educated me on the issue and we scheduled the leak detection right away. John was professional, punctual and transparent. He doesn’t gauge you with pricing and really gets “customer service”. I will hire him again and again. In one word, excellence!Service: Plumbing leak detection
