I was crying in pain when I arrived and the woman who works in the pharmacy noticed and asked me for my prescription and gave it to a pharmacist and everything was fast and everyone was kind so I want to give them 5 stars for the very kind and amazing service ?

This is for Rite Aid store at 7239 Woodman Ave, Van Nuys, CA 91405On Wednesday, January 11 @ approximately 2:45-ish, I went up to the check out with my purchase selections. The light was on for one checkout lane however no one was there. It was just me in line, so I waited for several minutes until the cashier -- I think her name started with an "N" arrived. However, she started ringing up the person that was following her saying that she was helping her friends first. Then she started ringing up a second person and I protested and she told me to "Relax". This is not fair -- a cashier helping her friends over customers. The policy should be first come first served and I had been waiting for several minutes at an abandoned cash register. I had been waiting in line and not only was she not there but she was ringing up her friends first. She was also rude. Because she took 2 people ahead of me, I abandoned my sale and went to CVS instead.

Whoever is working at the pharmacy as supervisor needs to go over customer service etiquette with the lady working behind the counter who's name tag is scratched so you can not see her name. Had her hair in a bun olive skin tone,age between 30-40. Very rude, did not seem to want to help me, embarrassed me and made me repeat myself 10 times but then treated the following customers very nicely. I've come here often for other amenities and never had a bad experience.

My experience today was very disappointing. I was in line behind a customer that had quite a bit of items there was a cashier helping her while I waited next in line Charles, an employee, was standing behind the registers looking my way but making no eye not verbal contact. There were a line of people behind me as well. I realized I could use the self check out where he was standing. I began checking my items but the Nyquil I was purchasing required an age verification. Charles looked at me, the blinking lite with the voice coming from my register stating assistance was needed and completely ignored me. He, however ran to the other side of the registers to then lend his assistance to all the people waiting behind me, never once acknowledging me. I had to get another cashier to call someone from the back to come out to help me. I forgot to mention he also yelled across the store asking if a group of teens wanted icecream (that were behind me) I don't know what his problem is with certain customers but I hope Rite Aid would not tolerate such prejudices from their employees once they're made aware of an obvious problem with him.
