Q Market is a Persian marketplace offering a diverse range of products, including those from Middle Eastern, as well as fruits, meats, and a gift shop.

I have been here twice while in the area. It's a nice store with a variety of items. They have produce, canned food, spices and even fresh food that is packed from the restaurant that is connected to the store. I have gotten few things from here and they were good quality, I tried their food and it was good. I highly recommend it. Customer service is good, fast check out and plenty of parking. I would return, it's just pricier than other middle eastern stores

An expensive store that sells junk and has very few cashiers, for a purchase you have to wait an hour until it's your turn to count.

I have benn driving from Westwood to Q Market for my shopping every other week for 30 years. Recently I bought Himalayan salt at the store and found ground glass in the salt. As a courtesy I called the store to let the owner know about the glass in salt. I was confronted with the owners unexpected nasty and rude attitude saying "you have to prove it"I emphasized that my call is simply to let him know so that he can decide if he wants to take them off the shelf and he got nastier saying that "there is nothing wrong with the salt, you have to prove it"As if he has been sued and we are in trial !A store owner who lacks common sense toet realize the purpose of my call does not deserve my business or yours !I stopped going to Q Market and will not be back !

Last week, I bought dried vegetables from them for cooking, and today, when I made it, the food was full of tiny cockroaches. I was shocked. It was terrible because I had worked all day and I tried with all my exhaustion to prepare food for tomorrow but I had to throw away a big pot of food because they sell junk and expired products. It's a shame that they make people sick because of money, even I can't believe it.

Q Market is a staple of the Persian/ Middle Eastern community in the Valley. It is not huge, but carries a great variety of ingredients and items from grocery items to kettles and barbecues. Service is consistently fast and efficient, but during major occasions and holidays such as Norooz and Christmas, it gets really crowded. To avoid the crowds, try week days, or early in the morning. Inside is reasonably clean. Parking is sufficient on normal days, but on crowded days it can get tough to find parking.

I went to Q market kosher meat department one day before Roshashana to buy beef tongue. I looked around to see if the price was posted, but it was not like the other items which had prices. There were several men behind the counter with long beards and kippahs. I asked one of them how much is the tongue per pound. He said $25 per pound. I said that's too much. He asked me "how much do you think it should be?". I said $15-16. All of a sudden, the men behind counter started to yell. One of them pointed his finger to his head in circular motion to say I have mental illness for thinking price is lower. And he said in Farsi, "Yek chizee fahmideh....and those days are gone......" Then he said, "go buy the tongue that cheap and bring it to me, and I'll give you fifty bucks. Do it now." In the middle of that commotion, one of them offered $20/lb, but because they were so rude and disrespectable and profane I just walked out fast. Tongue is the most common meat Persians buy for Roshashana. That's why they hadn't posted the price for it. They know it is a necessity for Roshashana and they wanted to stick it to people. They got so loud and rude that when I walked out, I thought about calling the police. They must have been very angry before I walked in, and took there anger out on me. They are humiliation to my culture. Aberooreezee. There were no other customers on that morning, which is very unusual for that time of year. I went to another kosher market, packed with customers, and bought the tongue for $17/lb. Those long-bearded men must have treated lots of people really badly. I will never step foot in Q Market again, despite the fact that the people on the outside of that department were kind. Very bad energy, but kind. The manager of Q Market must not be aware that that one department is costing a loss for every other area. Those bearded men should be ashamed of themselves. Khejalaat bekesheen. One of the requirements for beef to be kosher is that it has to be ethical and not involve any form of rip-off. I wanted them punished but I figured they are punishing themselves by losing customers.
